Foodie Gems of NOLA: Our Self-Made Food Tour of New Orleans

Our food focused visit to New Orleans at the end of September was absolutely beautiful. The shoulder season is a perfect time to visit for the best of all worlds: not too crowded, not too hot, and lots to see and do. We took kayaks into Manchac Swamp for a bayou tour where we saw two alligators, we had beignets at Café Du Monde, charcuterie at Bacchanal Fine Wine & Spirits, and a communal dinner at Mosquito Supper Club. We took the ferry to Algiers Point and experienced JAMNOLA in all it's glory. Our trip was capped off with a beautiful second line parade in honor of two newlyweds before an epic night out on Frenchmen Street where we experienced the best music in the city. We loved our weekend and can't wait to go back again!
