As soon as we got a teaser with that font I thought it’s 100% a bel canto, but this is actually pretty cool! I’m a huge guilloche guy, I was just expecting it to be a bel canto in a cw12 case so this was a welcome surprise!
I do wish people would use the IV for the four hour marker....I mean my name is IV haha and so many do IIII. I guess call me IIII, but say it like Ricky Richardo eye yeye yeye yeye!
@@WatchYourselfJorge I think that is also why my favorite location for a date window is 4 o'clock but Cartier for some reason only does the date window at 4 o'clock when they don't use Roman Numerals. Actually I refuse to call it Roman Numerals with the IIII haha
I welcome the new add-ons to version 2 from a watch esthetics perspective, but I still prefer the dial, backdrop, and lume of the original version. Version 1 is a more fun watch.
I think I still prefer the original. The guilloche is beautiful, but it almost distracts from the mechanism which is the real show here. Also like the original hour track better, same reason.
@@WatchYourselfJorge the footage Andrew Morgan put up showing the dial has me potentially changing my mind on it. It looked gorgeous. Now can I get on board with the Roman numerals? Hmm.
Absolutely agree. That dial, really cool if you like that kind of thing - deserves a watch of its own where that is the centre piece. That clockface, looks like your granny's carriage clock - or Ciel floating dial where it is the focus of attention against a plain dial. Fine if you like that sort of thing. The original was all about the mechanism, though. And that's exactly what gets lost here. This watch should be all about the mechanism. In the original the clock face was like a sundial or sun, with the sunburst effect shining on the songbird which did the time telling. It was poetry. All the elements just complemented each other - even if it was hard to read. That London piece seemed too busy to me. This takes this a notch further and is really very too busy. And on the bracelet... just doesn't suit it. As much as I'd like the blue over the Andrew Morgan (my second choice and the one I ordered), just not like this. As for the magnum opus, watch this space for a very limited stainless steel 12 X skeleton that costs as much as titanium coming very very soon in extremely limited numbers. I think CW's offerings a looking rather incoherent now. It's a brand for sports and tool watches. The OG Bel Canto managed to complement that as it remained quite sporty. Not sure that this is supposed to be. Reverso next?
I like the new design. But I agree on the Roman numerals. Also, I think the new one is slightly thicker because of the box sapphire, but I’m not sure. Still a great piece.
The watch looks best on the strap. The Bader bracelet is not hard to get at all. It’s available on the CW site. What’s hard to get is a strap with that CW deployment clasp. Regardless, the bracelet takes away from the watch.
You have the potential to be a great reviewer. Polish it up a little bit and be just a little more professional and you’re there. You make any cringe a bit but I think you’ll get there.
Thank you so much! Every video is a journey, as we only started August 2023, so we're always learning and trying new things! So the advice is super appreciated! Thank you again!
@@WatchYourselfJorge That's great, but that was one thing I wanted to point out. The conversations with someone off camera introduce poor sound quality and are a little odd. Either mic him or leave him out of it. Good luck with the channel!
Hi. Yes, they are beautiful. I ordered them for January in gold color. Good luck.
hope you love it as much as I think you will!
@ Undoubtedly:).
Ordered as well! Green on Bracelet!

this is definitely my favorite and I'm with TerBear on gold....OOooo if they turned the bracelet into a Rolesor? haha
TerBear!!! Yes!!! But why rolesor 😭😭😭 nooooo
@@WatchYourselfJorge it would go great with the gold dial haha
BOOOO ROLESOR 😉

I'm a sucker for 3D textured dials like this, the Twelve, the GS Snowflake, etc. I think it's a great addition.
It absolutely is so cool. It's done in such a classy way too
Snowflake dial or any of the many GS dials like it would have suited a poshed-up Bel Canto much better.
@@brownbear100 I look like to see a snowflake dial
Perhaps they should have modified the SW300 for the "Act II"?
Might have cost a lot to modify another movement!
CW does it just right!
And great Video and so fast! Well done. Go on..
Thanks for the kind words! We knew before hand tbh 🤣 were lucky enough to get press releases!
I think this new dial was needed for such a spectacular watch. Makes it even more special.
What an accomplishment this watch is at the price though!
The gold one looks absolutely stunning
It really does!

I preferred the old hour markers too but I appreciate the trying new things!

Full agree, beautiful but maybe too busy. I was hoping for fumé dials. Also, prefer the older markers.
I love the combo of the guilloche and the complication! But I get your point 100%

New one is better in my opinion
Got a new sub. This was great.

The box crystal is cool! We forgot to mention it so thanks for highlighting it!

It's gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. Gold for me please!
many are on team gold!!
Great looking Watch, maybe Breguet numbers on the dial would make it look even more Gorgeous !
Oooo breguet numerals would be INCREDIBLE!
Ok, i want the gold dial!!!
Terry agrees with you!!

I agree on this watch specifically. Simply because of the guilloche. the normal bel canto I love on a bracelet.
Nice knowing you while it lasted Bremont, I think it's safe to say CW is going to steamroll them in the next few years.
yeah looks that way unfortunately. as much as I love Bremont as a company...
Needs applied Numerals IMO.
That's my only thoughts on how to improve it too
I cant believe they could still improve the already great gorgeous watch but the just did!
It's absolutely mind blowing the stuff Christopher ward has accomplished
@ yeah , the past couple of years they’ve been hitting home runs after home runs
I’m picking silver and blue 👌
Yessssss!! Same!
You're growing on me!
Glad to hear it! Hopefully in a good way and less like a fungal infection
Huge improvement
On an already amazing watch!
This is something special
100%! Absolutely stunning!
I like white. I have one question: when gold dial?
There's a gold dial version talked about in the video?
Theres no way they will deliver these watches on december 31st 2024 😅 probably will keep getting delayed until 2025 december at the earliest
I hope you're wrong 😭 too long to wait for these beautiful pieces
Oh my word🤩
This was a tricky secret to keep lol
