S 2 Ep 8 starts with Susie throwing out all the kimchi she made. Ed wishes he had a kimchi fridge. Ed had a busy weekend video chatting with someone from the dating apps and had a busy weekend. Korean man starts a Tik Tok cult. Woman on Tik Tok doesn't want to return her shopping cart. AITA include: AITA for not thinking I'm a Koreaboo. AITA for telling my Asian friend that she is fetishizing her own culture. Woman asks the internet about her soon to be born half asian "Wasian" baby. Trolls are the worst. Someone DM's Susie that she should "d*e ch*nk".

I like some K dramas. Not so much the music. When I ask myself if I do I appreciate someone's culture or am I fetishizing something.. yeah, no. I like other cultures because it's similar or I can relate to it. Not because I have a thing for it. I enjoy Vietnamese culture a lot. Especially the cuisine. I can relate to it. When I get that one weirdo that says I might have a fetish for it, I always feel that they're projecting and or pushing the usual cultural zeitgeists that everyone is trying to reduce each other to a label. Boring shit if you ask me. I'm mixed. Black and Mexican. Frankly, it doesn't define me whatsoever. I'm just me. Another portion of it is that I am practicing to be a saint, I tend to love everyone and everything a person is as they are. I've learned those who aren't comfortable with themselves tend to talk that way.
I always judge what someone says and does rather than what they enjoy or can relate to. Folks gotta mellow out. People fetishize me with wanting because I'm mixed. That's creepy. I look nothing like my parents. I look like my grandparents more and family from way back then. I have a brother that looks a lot like me and me and him get if we are twins...they disregard we're obviously 6 years apart. Our genes when the grossness of my parents getting together happens to do this. Thats the beauty of new life. I digress, you can always tell when someone is fetishize someone based on their words.
The Woman who enjoys Korean culture, you're okay lol. It's fine. Like what you like. Your friend needs a twix. She shouldn't be your friend either if she can't take the minute to think about you in a better light. You should drop your friend, if she makes you feel bad like that often.
