Haven't been there since Sept 2022, where I felt their karts were not being maintained (one of mine had an engine issue and the second had its alignment completely off). Was disappointed and haven't visited since especially with the higher prices
It’s also further annoying because my brothers are racing enthusiasts like me and we all have racing sims we race in but when we go to track we can’t put that into use because we know one’s kart is going to be a rocketship compared to the others we cant even get down on track and get some equally paired wheel2wheel racing, no point in gaining time with better lines, if they’re just going to dump a second on you on the straights

I am not sure if it exists currently but, for the people who actually care about the sport and really are competitive with their times, they should have memberships maybe with a requirement of a certain lap time. Members should be entitiled to well maintained karts while general public can have their fun with whatever they get their hands on.
They don't have that program at this track. I talked to the owner and he was talking about introducing something like that here, but as far as that is concerned the proof is in the pudding. So until then I don't believe a word of any of that until I actually see it happening.
@@CaptainAwesomeness I've been on them for the better part of a year now to do something like that, but they just say they're going to do it but they never actually do.
@@investedmango3261 unfortunately I'm not surprised at all. I was given empty promises two years ago when I tried to address some of the same issues I brought up in this video.
@@CaptainAwesomeness Sucks man, they need someone that actually cares about the sport and understands the sport for what people like us need in order to become a reality but unfortunately as of right now that is not the case. I understand the business gain part of it from the owner for the typical/standard audience, but they should add atleast something for let's say the top 20 drivers for the previous month, like a special option or something with better karts, they come out with top 10 driver discounts which I think is like 30-40% discount which is good for the enthusiasts who can't afford it because unfortunately the sport of racing isn't less costly to begin with then on top of that to do it in Pakistan is just 10 times harder, but they take those away too, Lots of hopes given, but more taken away from the way I look at it.

I’d consider myself one of the top drivers at the track as of now, my fastest last month was a 1:10:8 which was a 10th or 2 apart from the top 5 of all time if not faster, and as an avid sim racer, my opinion is very much the same and it’s quite annoying for people with genuine enthusiasm as myself that Pakistan already doesnt have much when it comes to track racing and the one thing we do have isn’t maintained or run well. Hopefully all us genuine enthusiasts to say the least will get the proper tracktoys we all think we deserve at this point, plus when a tournament is going down its very annoying when you know there’s a kart thats faster than yours and even if you have more skill you can’t do much about it, feels like being in f1 driving a williams against a redbull. The fix for the kart discrepancy is getting your own kart, building/maintaining it yourself and racing with other like minded racers. My videos from last year covers what it's like to race on real open wheel karts and how that's the path enthusiasts here should start to head towards eventually. Rental karts are a great way to get into learning racecraft, but the real deal is in the kind of racing I now participate in back in the USA.

Oasis? They don't have a track that's even worth calling a track, they only have kid karts, and they're only available to members and their guests, therefore not available to the public. As for SA Gardens, that's also a private track. I am more focused towards tracks that are open to the public than the ones you mentioned.
