I had this same Camry spec.. Saved my life when I was hit by a drunk in a new MDX doing 88mph. He rear ended my Camry but the cabin wasn’t penetrated. Beast of a machine. I highly recommend this Sedan.

$26,000 for a Camry, that's an excellent daily driver you would have that for 20 years, I'll take the one with the remote start.

I like the analog gauge setup for this generation Camry. I'm pretty sure the redesign for 2025 will be going to full on digital gauges. Most will probably disagree with me, but I prefer the classic look of an analog speedometer and tachometer.

Great review as always, Gold Pony! Thanks for going in to all that detail; you crammed in a lot but it never was boring. My 2019 SE is almost 5 years old now but still is running great. Only real issue was the defective fuel pump, replaced by a factory recall. I love this car but must admit the '22-'24 is nicer with dual climate control and the three drive modes which weren't available on the '18-'21 SE. I do prefer the older embedded touch screen over the newer floating tablet touch screen. Kinda nice that the Camry SE I bought in 2018 still looks like a new 2024. Mine is basically stock with few upgrades, just front LED switchback turn signals/parking lights and an upgrade to XSE taillights. And most halogen interior/trunk lights have been upgraded to blue LEDs which look great at night on the black interior. Just a little extra pizzaz for a really practical, economical and decent looking daily driver. I made the right choice over the comparably priced 1.5 Turbo CVT Honda Accord that came with NO factory options including BSM/RCTA! (That was a short test drive!)

Great video! One thing I'd like to add is that I have a 2020 Camry SE AWD. Not sure if they offer it for the 2024 but you can get a winter package for the SE where you can get heated mirrors, a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats. It's not just for the XLE and XSE. Just a FYI 👍🏾

I have a 2023 LE. Maybe I should have gone with the SE for the suspension upgrade. But that's not the end of the world. My complaints have to do with the infotainment. The screen is mounted too high. The buttons on the right side of the steering wheel look like seek buttons. But they actually toggle through your saved favorites regardless of source. It would be nice if you could set it to one source and seek that way from the steering wheel. Especially because the seek button is so far away. Also I can't just insert my thumb drive with thousands of songs and easily search through those. The songs appear out of order for some reason and to listen to an album straight through you have to go to a "file" menu. And then you can't choose a different song while you're driving. That's frustrating. My Chevy had a better infotainment setup. Of course I'd really wish it had a CD player, but....As far as driving dynamics goes there's a bit of hesitation sometimes when you really get on it. That's a bit frustrating when you want to pull out fast. Having said all this, though, I'm happy with it. It's an affordable 4 cylinder sedan with a decent amount of power and great MPG. (I get over 40 on the highway) It's comfortable enough. It's got decent leg room. You can turn off all those annoying safety features and forget about them. It's got a real key. And no auto stop/start. And it's roomy enough to be able to tilt the seat all the way back and take a nap after a long drive. I'm happy with it. I plan on going in a lot of road trips with this thing.

What!? I don’t think you’re really looking at the reliability and great gas mpg as well as the drive. Is FWD better in snow than AWD? If you know how to drive in the snow then you can drive a FWD okay, I seen people in a a ditch with AWD just the same. That was maybe the only negative statement from his review. The dual exhaust is a double tip muffler which does have more exhaust flow I had put one on a turbo car I had. So it’s Cheaper than the extra piping altjo Toyota or most Japanese cats ihave no issues or great on any rust outs unlike American vehicles still.
