I bought Vintner’s Daughter after saving up money on the side for three months. I fell for it because of this whole natural claim and some bloggers were also claiming it would be great for acne. Back then I suffered from regular acne and monthly cysts. I really thought this would be my saving grace for my skin. Oh how wrong was i, it gave me cystic acne all through my cheeks in two days of use. I was so adamant that it couldn’t have been this oil because it’s supposed to be good and it was so expensive. After using half of the bottle my skin had never looked worse. I had to take painkillers during the day just so I could smile. Looking back at it now that I can read ingredient list I would never put a drop of Vintner’s Daughter on my skin!!! it’s people like you Nadine that I really truly have to thank for your education. Now I am living my life with my head up acne free after going fragrance and essential oil free. Thankyou
Catnip 4 lucky nothing happened to you but I know many people who’s skin doesn’t react with fragrant oils. But prolonged use can cause problems in the future. There is just so many research based good for your skin ingredients in the market I just find fragrant oils to be pointless. But vintners daughter does smell divine 😂
Kiki Kiki I’m so sorry you paid that obscene amount of money for such awful, painful acne and cysts that could have easily left scars on your face!! I completely agree with you the best thing I learned and did for my skin was to avoid all fragrance in everyone of my skin products. This is especially important for the long term health and look of the skin, Even if you do not happen to see a reaction today the skin is aggravated by fragrance which in turn continues to age the skin more over time. From cleanser to actives to foundation I use nothing with any scent. This makes it more difficult to navigate and find products I love... especially shopping online...but believe me the extra time spent searching for alternative products is worth the long term positive effect on the skin. I hope others who do not already know about the effects of fragrances read our findings and can benefit from them!! ❤️
Erin Mc Thankyou for your message I absolutely agree! 💕 being a person who is between Fitzpatrick 3/4 my pigmentation was literally black/purple while my skin tone is of a lighter tan ...and took me nearly 1.5 years to clear up. I hope people can see this maybe there’s someone out there who is suffering from bad skin but doesn’t have the money to see a dermatologist or feel that they can’t have good skin because they aren’t buying these expensive skincare is just false! It’s 2020 good/affordable skincare is a human right 💕
Absolutely a gamechanger for me has been The Ordinary B Oil. I'm very liberal with it at night over my night cream and in the morning my skin is pretty near perfect (which is certainly wasn't before). Gets rid of any inflamation and marks. LOVE IT.
As a qualified aromatherapist, agreed that floral and other plant essential oils can sensitise skin, so not great for reactive, sensitive skins. Carrier or base oils, however, can be amazing for most skins! For those with blemish, spot-prone or sensitve skins, look for oils with low comedogenic rating, e.g. jojoba (which is actually a plant wax), grapeseed, hemp, apricot kernal, or hazelnut oil. You only need a few drops (3-4) to moisturise a face or use as a serum or to buffer retinols or calm irritation etc. I have really sensitive, reactive, spot prone skin which scars easily, and I use my own concoction of Hemp, jojoba and Tamanu with a few drops of Helichysum (Everlasting/Immortelle essential oil), which is reknowned to sooth and heal skin, and my skin LOVES it. Scarring and blemishes are diminished. People rave about V.Daughter etc. but I believe their mixture with all the fragranced essential oil, while they may make the oil smell lovely, is too much for sensitive, spot prone skin. Just my opinion, btw.
I love face oils, love them. They really do help my skin. I like the Clarins Blue Orchid (although I am using that up so I can move to a cruelty free one)
I have oily skin that is prone to breakouts. No matter how “clean” an oil may be, it will still clog my pores. I had sworn off oils. Cut to years later, I end up with a moisturizer on my skin that contains plum seed oil as a result of an over zealous Sephora employee. I thought, great, I’m going to pay for that later. But that night when I cleansed, there were no clogged pores. I thought I would give this oil a try and I, glad I did because it’s moisturizing and it does NOT clog my pores. Shocking. I don’t understand why I don’t see products with it. Only one, but it’s $$$$ like Vinter’s Daughter. I use one found on Amazon for cheap.
I am so pleased you talked about fragrance in products. I have severe allergies to fragrance, natural or chemical. Skin rashes, facial swelling etc. I take 4 different allergy medications a day, one specifically for hives. I also carry an inhaler and epi pen. I have noticed that there is more and more fragrance being added to cleaning products, laundry products to extend scent etc. I even react to some toilet papers, I know sounds ridiculous but true. I really like that when I am watching videos people add in fragrance free products. I love your reviews!
I have breakout prone very oily skin but I’ve been using Biossance’s squalane oil and my skin handled it pretty well. It’s a very “dry” oil that makes my skin looks glowy but not greasy and I love that I can use it on my beard as well to hydrate it and the skin underneath it :)
I understand you want to interview people “more interesting” than yourself but trust me I like your videos when it’s just you - even more than your collab videos!
Look up prickly pear seed oil! It's great! Up to 80% omega 6 and 9 and loaded vitamins e, c, b and even k! So it's even good for some pigmentation issues! It's quite expensive carrier oil but very very nice. It's a dryer oil too! I also love kiwi seed oil for its high dose of omega 3 and vitamin c! Both are GREAT for anti inflammation post procedure for microneedling and peels and or as a final step in nightly skincare! I used to hate carrier oils too until I learned more about them, and now I actually love them as a final step in my skincare!
I suffer very badly with allergies and severe asthma in fact I’ve been diagnosed allergic by a ( highly respected professor ) immunologist to any foods etc which are related originally to the birch tree genus also to grasses which are also related to this genus And interesting fact I’m not allergic to any essentials oils with the exception of both tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil.
My skin changed completely when using and applying Jane Scrivner balm cleanser and face oils xx. Use these and include Medik8 3tr intense and GOW Vit C with ferulic. Great combination of skincare for me after years and years xx
It must be difficult not having ' company' but it'll soon change. I love listening to wonderful knowledge you have in the beauty world. I've learnt and changed so much since listening to you 🤗💞
I love oils. My favorite is Yuli liquid courage, it has vitamin C, Ferulic acid ( which I never seen that ingredient in a oil) and also other good stuff. It’s pricey but way better the VD and cheaper.
I always thought I had a really really sensitive skin, it reacted to loads of things and all the time and I never felt that anything in skincare was really good for me. Then I found The Ordinary... *Tada* Now I am one of those who can cope with acids in the same way as you, the bloodmask I use for aprox 25 mins more then once a week in periods. I use their glycolic toner morning and night every day, and one of their acids neary every day in my morning routine and so on. All my life i have thought I had really dry skin but found out it was just THIRSTY!!! Besides acids aso I use TO Hyaluronic and TO Squalane + the TO NFM all mornings and evenings, year around. Other oils don´t feel that perfectly smooth and wonderful on my skin as the Squalane. My skin loves a drop of it. I usually recommend the TO Squalane to friends that and curios tho a bit "scared" of oils.
I love TO’s squalane too. I have read that Squalane is not really an oil but a byproduct of the Squalene (with an e) oil and that Squalane is an excellent moisturizer🙂
@@leneskov5184 Na, it´s not related in that way. Squalene you can find in your bodys own skinlipids (it decreases with age) and Squalane is very similar to it. You can get squalane from different sources both from animals (like shark fins) and from sugarcanes, weatsprouted and olives. Nowadays most squalane is from vegan sources. TO:s is allways vegan sourced.
I mix 2drops of the Ordinary rosehip seed oil in my moisturiser in the morning and my skin loves it. I have normal skin. I don't have any pilling of makeup or sunscreen over the top of it. I use the Ordinary retinol in squalane at night with cerave cream over the top. Works for me.
I have super oily skin, and I recently took Liah Yoohs (of Krave Beauty) advise and started adding just a few drops of oil to my hyaluronic acid in the morning. And just a couple of days in and my skin is already less oily, furthermore by mixing oil ieth hyaluronic acid my skin just soaks the oil instantly. Now I don't even need a moisturiser any more!
I used TO Marula on a slightly sunburnt skin after Cerave lotion and found when I put the oil on top it took down the redness much faster then the lotion alone
I’ve been using moisturizers and cleansing balms with a combination of oils and they have really helped with irritation and dryness. I don’t use oils on their own but, never say never.
Love Elemis superfood facial oil. Don’t use it all the time but it’s bliss for those nights when I need another layer of moisture. Always use it last. It feels like it seals the deal.
I love the Power D, but only in the warmer months. It gives my skin the most velvet like texture. I live in New England in the USA and my skin will not tolerate it in winter. to be fair, I have really sensitive skin. The only thing it will tolerate in winter is the Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Serum, and it does make my skin feel plump. Not sure why, but there you go. Thanks fir this video.
I use the neutragenia retinol SA. It’s a little heavy at first but then the oiliness disappears. Isn’t Mark from Inkey List a Chemist??? Ask him, I liked him & his wife very much! So interesting & real.
Thank you so much Nadine!!! We learn so much from you. We also missed seeing all you intelligent people together discussing about skincare. Hopefully this will change soon 😊🥰😘
I’m so intrigued by Medik8. I’ve heard Caroline and Trinny talk about the brand recently, and you’ve mentioned it. They have an Australian website, so I am going to investigate more for when I need new skincare. 🥰 I love the Zelens Power D serum - the almond oil is so nice. It’s an expensive brand. I was so pleased I got to try it when it was in the Cult Beauty box by Caroline years ago. I made that serum last as long as possible. 😬
Yes, I love Vintner's Daughter. I've been using it for a couple of years, I like it for the therapeutic massage and the way my skin looks after I've applied it. I also love Tatcha's oil and Sisley's Black Rose oil. I do not like the La Mer oil, I don't know why, it just doesn't seem to do anything for me. I am not worried about causing problems for my skin, I'm 59 and have been using fragrance in cosmetic and skin care for 40 years. If I develop a sensitivity I'll deal with it. If someone has sensitive skin or doesn't want to use fragrance, then they shouldn't. Some products work for you and some do not. I have been taking vitamin D supplements and my levels are very good now. I am very curious about the topical vitamin D products. Thank you for your videos, they are always great!! Take care, Ginny 😘😘😘
I've tried every oil there is my faves are Bonair Blue Smoother Face Oil no colouring no fragrance, Pomegranate oil use in the winter & The Ordinary B Oil which i have used on & off for 2 years luv it, none of these cost you the price of a morgage, they are hydrating absorb easily & don't clog pores & if your oil makes you feel oily your using to much more is not more i only need 2 drops :-)
I being mature use a serums twice a day , but about once a week and having my soak in the bath , I will use an oil to protect my skin from the heat of the water as usually,I will shower and nightly if I am tense I will soak nightly ! next day my skin is beautiful and plumped up , I certainly don’t use it more than once a week , I will use a face pack or sheet mask four times a week , however I do use serums twice a day , and my skin is looking a lot better but a access my skin everyday and use the appropriate serums , so yes being mature I have learnt that my skin will talk to me , so I really love my skin treatments . I really hope everyone enjoys your own skin care as I really look forward to my skin care. Hope everyone stays safe my love liz x
@@frozengamer3030 Make sure the ingredients say "rosehip SEED oil". The seed oils have much less potential for irritation than the rosehip (fruit) oil.
@@frozengamer3030 Rosehip has awesome properties, and if you're skin isn't sensitive to it, it can work wonders, because of the transretinoic acid to ward off wrinkles and boost collagen. However, I'm allergic to it and it makes me break out. Some people are sensitve to it, so try a patch test over a few days to check. Also make sure it is Rosa Rubiginosa ot Rosa Canina (cheaper and not that effective).
Love you Nadine but I really miss the Beauty Hags! The two of you together make me laugh so much! And you always bring something interesting and funny aside from skin care.
Another wonderfully informative video. I looked up the Medik8 serum you mentioned as I have been suffering with overly red skin in lockdown. If it's a dry oil why does it contain alcohol denat? It's so disappointing particularly coming from Medik8.
I always use an oil on my face last thing at night as the final step in my skincare. Definitely helps keep my skin soft and supple. Currently I’m using Sunday Riley CEO Glow. It’s okay, but not the best I’ve used.
Nadine, don't get me started on Vintner's Daughter: I broke out after 2 times when I've never had a break out of that proportion. I contacted them and I didn't get a reply!! I love Medik8 in general. I've got super oily skin of epic proportion, so much I can bottle it as industrial grade. Therefore oils are too much for my skin when it's 97° today.
I use it (the 2%) and I only need a few drops as it is oily and spreads well. No irritation and no breaking out. Hope that helps. Squalene is very low to no comedogenic rating as it is similar in weight to skin's sebum. And olive squalane is plant based...obvs. :)
@@PetersayPeterdo I only use it at night as I find squalane a bit too oily for daytime (if with moisturise and foundation, etc.). It's moisturising enough to not require another moisturiser, but for daytime you might want to use a sunscreen as retinoids cause skin to be more sensitive to sun.
I thought I had taken all of the oils out of my skincare routine (along with essential oils and fragrance) in attempt to help clear up my acne-prone, inflamed skin, but I didn't realize a couple Drunk Elephant serums I use have marula seed oil in them. Thank you for continuing to look into oils and their role in skincare. I have friends who love them (but they have naturally clear skin), so I think they love the moisture that oils provide and don't experience any pore-clogging/inflammatory effects.
I’ve been using oils for years so I’m some what knowledgeable. If your beginning I highly highly suggest Ayurveda oils. They are exceptional quality, blends are cooked not just mixed. They have a day and night. A very good way to start there is no questing. Your getting superior quality. They’re ancient blends
You and your reporting and reviews are plenty interesting!! Also, is there a story behind the little figures behind you on your set? I always puzzle over them and have wanted to ask for a while. There MUST be a little tale beind them?
I've got very sensitive skin but get on well with oils. I have reacted to a number of products you have suggested in the past so I guess we have very different skins! The last problem item was from Indeed Labs and I also had a reaction to a La Roche Posay cream you mentioned. Currently using a Clarins oil.. I just try to avoid lavendar.
I don’t like oils on my face at all, they don’t really sink in and I have a mature fairly dry skin, I’m just left looking oily. I do however use the The Ordinary retinol in Squalane at night but I don’t really like the feel, a dry oil would be interesting to use so looking forward to more information on that. 😊
I started using kiwi oil 3 months ago, and I love it. It has no fragrance and is "...the richest natural sources of vitamin C & E, potassium, magnesium and a remarkable stable source of omega 3 &6 and Alpha Linolenic Acid, an important ingredient for maintaining the elasticity of the skin. The oil is a very potent antioxidant." My skin's elasticity has improved and it glows. It isn't a greasy oil, but quickly absorbs into my skin. I will never be without it.
I'm a bit confused - the Medik 8 has ingredients like: Geraniol,, Cinnamomum Camphora (Camphor) Bark Oil, Linalool, Limonene. Aren't these forms of fragrance/scent/perfume and therefore possible irritants?
Nadine this was great and wonderful to hear that you have a different viewpoint. Would love to know how long you used the Zelens Vit d for? I discovered it through Caroline Hirons and just adore this product although expensive. I found its a longer burn in terms of results but for those with drier skin it’s a joy. I would really appreciate if you could do a showcase on Vitamin d in products this was the only one I’ve encountered - until I saw Oskia just released a vitamin d enriched sunscreen. Thanks again
I’ve come full circle on oils. I’ve had oily skin all my life, nearly 50 now. I avoided oil like the plague until recently. Always thought they would break me out. I hate any kind of thick, buttery creams. I can feel a spot coming up just thinking about them 😂 really hate the feel of them too. A few years ago I tried the ordinary Rosehip oil and to my surprise I actually found it didn’t cause breakouts and it really comforted my skin. I now have a few oils I rotate including the Votary oil, Zelens z-22 and clarins blue orchid. All work well for me. Interestingly I don’t get on with squalane.
I'm personally not a fan of oils and agree with you completely. I know this is a very divided subject. I just don't fully understand how a retinol in an oil can even work, as an oil is an occlusive, therefore surely nothing can penetrate through, meaning the retinol?
Not only do you do the most informative fabulous videos you wear THE MOST glorious clothes! You are my new addiction I’m ploughing my way through all your videos - wonderful! ❤️❤️❤️
I really like this oil, Claire! It does have fragrance in it so if that's not your bag, steer clear. But, I really like the smell and I found it was a great moisturizing step for my skin.
Look for oils with a low comdeogenic rating that will balance your skin's oil over-production. Oils like hemp, Jojoba (which is technically a plant wax), squalane and tamanu (mixed with one of the others as it's quite potent and stinky!), might help calm your skin and heal scars. I personally use a self-made blend of Jojoba, Hemp, Tamanu (just a few drops as it it reputed to be v.good for acne). I have reactive, sensitive, blemish prone skin which leaves dark scars. I can't even use normal shop-bought , branded moisturiser anymore as my blend works so perfectly for my skin's needs. Only need about 3 drops massaged in morning and night after cleansing. BTW, I am a qualified Aromatherapist, hence studied in Base/Carrier and Essential oils.
I hate oils and i am not a dermatologist . I had bags under my eyes when i used them and when i stopped using products with oils my eye bags are gone. Maybe allergy.
Hi Nadine. I love your videos! I dont know if you can help. I am a 38 year old mum of two (youngest is 9 months) and have never used retinol before but would like to start. I have been trying to do some research into good products to start with but it all gets very confusing. Do you have go-to retinols that you recommend to beginners? My skin has become dryer since having my second. And I dont have a huge budget. Would really appreciate any advice. Thanks x
Hi, Nadine! I've been doing monthly 50% glycolic acid peels which has done wonders for my skin, and I LOVE how my skin feels and looks so glowy after recovery, but for about 2 days after, my skin is extremely dry, to the point where it just feels like applying moisturizer to sandpaper. Would you recommend anything for post-peel recovery? I cease the use of all actives for 5-7 days after and my post-peel routine, both AM and PM is: Loreal Fine Flowers Cleansing Milk Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors The Ordinary "B" oil
Oils usually clogg my pores. But I need something more than moisturizer to sooth and hydrate itchy patch on my face and eyelids. Is squalane an oil? Deciem consultant says it's a hydrocarbon. What does that mean for skin?
Try an oil that has a low comdedogenic rating, e.g. Jojoba (which is technically a plant wax) or hemp. You only need to use sparingly. Oils like coconut, almond, starflower/borage or castor will probably be too heavy and could cause breakouts. Squalane is an oil (which is a hydrocarbon as all are). Squalene is naturally produced in the skin but squalane is a hydrogenated form of squalene (usually from olives or animal derived). Squalane tends to blend well with skin sebum (skins natural oils) and is usually low to non-irritating. It is soothing, helping with the skin barrier function and helps the skin retain its moisture. I am an qualified aromatherapist, btw. Hope this info. helps.
@@tg7648Since my original comment, I have tried TO squalane. So far so good. It has calm down my dry itchy patches. I find your reply to others very helpful too. Thank you.
Hi nadine. I have discovered you when lockdown started. I now have an skincare instagram account. Most of the things i buy is from your TH-cam channel and instagram. I have tagged you many of times. (Not sure if you receive them or not 🤭. Want to say a huge thank you for getting my into skincare and over the last few months. Thanks 😄
I’m trying to find an unscented oils for my very dry skin that isn’t heavy and it’s hard. I’ve been thinking about votary superseed oil but have read conflicting reviews on how heavy it is
That’s not true about essential oils not being physical helpful to your skin. Frankincense is very helpful for wrinkles and skin smoothness. And myrrh, frankincense, Hawaiian sandalwood, lavender make immortal. Very good for skins elasticity. There are others. I have used different ones and never had a bad reaction.
Botanical oils (Jojoba, grapeseed, Rosehip etc) and essential oils (lavender, tea tree) are not the same thing. Botanical oils have proven benefits to the skin and are used in conventional skincare all the time .
Just checked the ingredients in Medik serum there are 2 types of sorbate preservatives in this. Won't buying it after intially being persuaded by this opinion.

I’m with you Nadine, I don’t like face oils, the only oil I like is my beloved Hada Labo cleansing oil - the best cleansing oil I’ve ever tried!
Love a good oil. Am currently enjoying Herbivore Orchid oil.
I don't use it often, but I love Paula's Choice Moisture Renew Oil Booster. It is especially helpful in the winter.
I used TO Marula on a slightly sunburnt skin after Cerave lotion and found when I put the oil on top it took down the redness much faster then the lotion alone
Your skin looks fabulous on this video! Forever 21 young lady xxx
I’ve been using moisturizers and cleansing balms with a combination of oils and they have really helped with irritation and dryness. I don’t use oils on their own but, never say never.
Nadine, I find you very interesting as well as entertaining. You don't NEED co-hosts necessarily
Love Elemis superfood facial oil. Don’t use it all the time but it’s bliss for those nights when I need another layer of moisture. Always use it last. It feels like it seals the deal.
Here we go again. Intelligent beauty talk. Cheers, Nadine!
I love Tropic Supergreens oil. It's so lovely. Great video x
I use the neutragenia retinol SA. It’s a little heavy at first but then the oiliness disappears.
Isn’t Mark from Inkey List a Chemist??? Ask him, I liked him & his wife very much! So interesting & real.
Beauty pie sleep oil is lovely and I like Clarins oils too
I love when your on your own !!!! I never watch the colabs I just don’t like them, so iam enjoying the lockdown 😉
I like Paula’s Choice Argan Oil - super for sensitive Skin !!!
I love the Zelens Power D serum - the almond oil is so nice. It’s an expensive brand. I was so pleased I got to try it when it was in the Cult Beauty box by Caroline years ago. I made that serum last as long as possible. 😬
I love Kora Organics Noni serum!!!!! Matbe its oil.
Sunday Riley‘s Luna, and Alitura The Gold Serum. Sorry Nadine ;)
Grapeseed, chia seed, borage seed, watermelon seed, rosehip seed oils.
Is rosehip good for the skin
@@frozengamer3030 Yes! It's high in essential fatty acids and vitamin A. I have dry skin and I have used rosehip seed oil for years!!
@@Mrgregmav thanks
Please could you invite your sister to talk about her up to date .. Rosacea skin care. ..?
What do you think of The Ordinary Granactive retinols in sqalane, and would you use them as a last step, since the formula is oily? Thanks.
I use it (the 2%) and I only need a few drops as it is oily and spreads well. No irritation and no breaking out. Hope that helps. Squalene is very low to no comedogenic rating as it is similar in weight to skin's sebum. And olive squalane is plant based...obvs. :)
@@tg7648 Thanks for the info. Do you use it under a moisturizer, or on its own?
I’m enjoying the Biossance vitamin c rose oil from Sali’s cult beauty box. Light and dry but skin feels benefit. I think...
The only oil I’ve used TO rosehip & I was surprised by it but no to the expensive ones, they are overpriced in my opinion 👍🏻🤗
I just try to avoid lavendar.
generally don't like oils, but I like the pestle and mortar superstar retinol oil. Medik8 and dermalogica both sound good to try out. Thank you! :-)
I really like the Neutrogena Rapid Repair Retinol Oil at night, with something occlusive over it. I just wish they didn't put fragrance in it.
Sounds great what brand/retailers do you get it from thanks?
I use Botanical Beauty brand and order it from Amazon in the U.S.
Apparently it's really good to use oils on a plane to lock moisture in! xx
Thank you! Can you pls update us on your Emepelle journey soon? TIA
I'm a bit confused - the Medik 8 has ingredients like: Geraniol,, Cinnamomum Camphora (Camphor) Bark Oil, Linalool, Limonene. Aren't these forms of fragrance/scent/perfume and therefore possible irritants?
Of course, Medik8 puts this crap into all their products, which is a shame, because they do have some amazing formulations
@@ocandro Which ones do you rate for sensitive skin without any perfume? Thanks!
Dry skin, love rosehip and hate squalene too!
Hey there I watched Ur tight lining video and U used Bobbie Brown black plum is there a dupe for it cheers
Hi you can call( Gone but not Forgotten) get the telephone number from Bobbie Brown chat site I got my black plum eyeshadow from them 😊
I'm personally not a fan of oils and agree with you completely. I know this is a very divided subject. I just don't fully understand how a retinol in an oil can even work, as an oil is an occlusive, therefore surely nothing can penetrate through, meaning the retinol?
Looking radiant
Not only do you do the most informative fabulous videos you wear THE MOST glorious clothes! You are my new addiction I’m ploughing my way through all your videos - wonderful! ❤️❤️❤️
No wonder I’ve had to throw Liz Earle moisturiser away! My face went so red and rashy! 😢
I love oils :-) buying medic8 now!
I was hoping you were going to talk a about the Zelens Z-22 which I have but reticent about using it x
I really like this oil, Claire! It does have fragrance in it so if that's not your bag, steer clear. But, I really like the smell and I found it was a great moisturizing step for my skin.
Daniel B thank you for the reply. I already have it. I will start using it at night
I have ance prone skin and I recently bought a face serum from upcircle but I am afraid to use it even though they told me it won't clog up my pores.
I cease the use of all actives for 5-7 days after and my post-peel routine, both AM and PM is:
Loreal Fine Flowers Cleansing Milk
Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid
The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors
The Ordinary "B" oil
Nadine what do you think of Saira Skin Oil?
@Susan Webb Thank you
Oils usually clogg my pores.
Thank you.
isn't balm just a solid form of oil ?
Nadine thank you but what would you recommend for combination skin ?
and what order would this sit in skincare regime?
X
At what layer step do you apply this? Is there someplace in the US where you can buy this?
Thanks 😄
We miss the Beauty Hags! 💋💄
I’m trying to find an unscented oils for my very dry skin that isn’t heavy and it’s hard. I’ve been thinking about votary superseed oil but have read conflicting reviews on how heavy it is
Try kiwi oil. My skin is dry, and this oil has been a game changer. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. It also has no fragrance.
Try jojoba oil. It is the oil that is most similar to the skin's natural oil.
Diane Murphy please can you share the double blind clinical trials that have been published in a peer reviewed journal?
Botanical oils (Jojoba, grapeseed, Rosehip etc) and essential oils (lavender, tea tree) are not the same thing. Botanical oils have proven benefits to the skin and are used in conventional skincare all the time .
Caroline and Sali both enjoy a simple Squalane facial oil.
Just checked the ingredients in Medik serum there are 2 types of sorbate preservatives in this. Won't buying it after intially being persuaded by this opinion.
You need to stop using camera blur filter.
