- Twin Mercury V12 Outboards on this BRAND NEW Model from Fjord means that high speeds, shallow water and toy storage are some of the new experiences you can now add to a large and luxurious Med Style Day Boat!
With epic weather protection from the new roof design and the option for open or enclosed windscreen this boat is like a crossover between a sedan cruiser and a day boat. With accomodation for a family and an amazing amount of storage thanks to outboard power I think it's safe to say that Fjord are once again leading the pack in this category of day boat.
Check it out and let me know what you think!

Love the extra freeboard compared to other Day/Adventure boats.
Great tour Dan.
We've gone up a price point or 2 compared to other adventure style boats, but you get what you pay for, i guess.
Amazing boat 👍
I like the day boat concept but what I think would be a real game changer would be a 42-46' long boat, but with outboards and fully enlosed. 3 cabins, 1 head. 2 or 3 burner stove and oven. Full AC. Perfect for goimg to the Bahamas and staying for a few days onboard. I even have an idea to use a drop down bed like they use in some RV's.
Sounds cool! I was thinking a Fjord style boat with retractable curtain clears that dissappear into the vertical pillars might also be an option.
What about the LifeProofBoat 50’ full cabin?

Perfect day boat/overnighter. Love it!
gorgeous boat, ideal for a lovely day with the family or even fishing with the boys. Cheers
Thanks for showing her to us Dan, great tour!
My pleasure!!
Like this channel, no BS, no bla bla & I just subscribed
Wow I adore grey & orange combo. Never thought it would look so great on a boat. It's fabulous. Still trying to get my head around these bull ugly bows though. One day hey haha 😄. Loving the 'dad dancing' intro Dan. Excellent video as always. 100% nailed ! ... 🇬🇧
I have more dad dancing moves to bring out one day haha! Yes it's a design that won't appeal to everyone but if you like this style it brings a bunch of benefits like handling and volume. One thing I wasn't expecting was how Americans congratulate wealth and success over here. We must have had people saying hi and well done around 5 -6 times a day on this boat. I was like it's not mine i'm just the TH-cam guy but the Americans really appreciated it everywhere we went it was super cool actually.
I wouldn't use "hot" colors. Two reasons:
-"Hot" colors (orange, blue, yellow, white, etc) are very common in life boats, life rafts and other products for emergency situations.
"Hot" colors makes them recognizable as emergency products.
I would reserve these color for that type of products.
-"Hot" colors are anoying to human eyes, they make the eyes get tired faster, they shoudn't be the main color.
I don't want a boat I can't looking at for a lot of time.
@@enibeni2071 Don't choose a "white" boat ? LOL ... Good luck with that one matey 👍 .... 🇬🇧
@@enibeni2071 Thats a valid point re emergency situations I guess. But I did notice that it was also attracting the attention of a lot of hot women who were admiring the boat which maybe counterbalanced the strain on the eyes so the net result was a benefit in my mind.
Hopefully you can see i'm just teasing haha
Clearly you have never watched any of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies Dan. Fantastic color choices, thanks for the share.
Haha you are correct!

Great boat!
Yes, lots of appeal for places like Sydney, Miami in my opinion
Cool boat. The European day boats like this Fjord have such airy, bright cabins full of windows and overhead hatches unlike the majority of American weekender/day boats. An inflatable dinghy would fit easily in the vast storage locker under the aft sunbed, along with an electric outboard. If a couple of the overhead hatches in the T-top were deleted there would be space for lots of solar panels. I wonder if Fjord will offer a lithium battery pack plus inverter system that could eliminate the need for a generator? To me the anchor system is a major compromise because it does not appear to be able to handle anchors like Mantus which are popular, but every boat has compromises. Thanks for a very thorough tour of a neat boat.
Yeah I reckon you could retrofit a lithium set up if you wanted and just don’t order it with the genny. But personally I would keep the genny, and have a gyro plus electric toys in the garage that I can recharge off the genny.
I did anchor it myself in many different wind and tide conditions and she held great FYI. No worries I’m glad you got some value from it! This is one of my top picks for tropical climates.
Dan, I love this boat, loved the review.
My wife: I love her bathing suit. “can you comment and ask where that girls bathing suit is from/ask her?”
Me: I’ll try.
haha www.montce.com is the website.
Maybe I should start a bikini review channel.. hmm.. that sounds kinda creepy now I think about it. I'll stick to boats.
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife Both at the same time, saves doing two mate, just until you get cancelled.........asking on behalf of a friend, from New Zealand
how does this boat compare to the V44 you just did a review on? both are very nice boats...
I dont know about the orange gel coat, might start to look nasty after a couple years in a sunny climate if its not well maintained! I loved the comment about the racoons and how everything in Australia can kill you! 😂
I am pretty sure it's paint on the Fjords (anyone from jord reading this can correct me if i'm wrong)
I've wrapped and sprayed used Fjord 40's back in my selling days and it was fun turning a 10yr old Fjord back into a new boat again. Helped on re-sale too.
Alexseal coating
@BoatLife - new subscriber here. In Canada, one funny name for Racoons are ‘trash Pandas’ because they vaguely look like Pandas and eat your trash.
Trash Pandas! Haha that was the name I heard... cute and funny haha
Offset the bed a bit to port and you could 2 feet to the bathroom.
Yes true but then one person might struggle getting out of bed?
Mind you, my 80's speed boating days have conditioned me to cringe, when I see an eye-line wind screen sharp edge. It's a sandbar decapitation opportunity... ouch !
It's literally meters away from the driver so I think you'd have to be seriously unlucky for that to happen. Good point however and i'll consider that when doing my future reviews as we did skim across some shallow water down in the Keys on this trip (on another boat) and so I understand how the consequences of poor attention would be quite immediate
Dramaqueen 😂
@@mortenberg2897 haha ... True ! 🤣
Nice. How much?

This is the actual boat here www.yachtsalesinternational.com/boats-for-sale/2023-fjord-41-xp-fort-lauderdale-florida-8793650/
Great boat, presentation but u really should cut it to 10-12 minutes! Mega yachts tour is way shorter, just saying.
I know I can talk a lot but I’m also trying to show as much detail as possible for those of you wanting to inspect the boats before you see it in person. I’ll be making more shorts and reels this year to start to speed up some of the presentations for those who can’t invest the time on the longer presentations.
Very cool boat. And you are right about the orange. Sexy.
Do Ozzie’s read books?
Yes but mainly on the bark of the paper bark tree so we stick to shorter stories of the books would get too bulky
A very sexy boat
Agreed! We had a LOT of people stopping and waving while filming this boat it was a lot of fun.
FWIW... apparently it's supposed to be pronounced "Cranky". At least, that's what Nick at Aquaholic says the Cranchi people told him.
Yes I have since discovered this lol - thanks
👍 🇨🇷
Lol husker de tider da fjord var en norskprodusert båt.
Wow that is a while ago!
Petrol on a boat. Dodgy mix.
I love petrol, it smells like progress. Outboards you don't have anything to worry about FYI
Rabid raccoons are deadly.
They are nasty and will not hesitate to come at you and do significant damage. While they might not kill you (unless rabid as you point out), best to stay away. They are not cuddly and not looking for a friend to pet them. About ten years ago I was on the lake and found one sleeping in the anchor locker. I got lucky as it just jumped overboard and swam to shore. It put a scare in everyone.
