Marla Coppolino spends a good amount of her time helping people become ecologically literate about snails. What are your thoughts on Marla's efforts?

@nationalgeographic I have pet snails and I photograph them in a similar way. This video made me so happy. It’s comforting to know that another person cares about the lowly snail as much as I do. I’d love to meet her or attend a discussion!

If you take a step back and relax, it really does give off a sense of delicate calmness feel. I would never have thought the snails would make a grating sound though when eating. That's new to me. At the end of the day, I'm just fascinated by how much people stand by their interest and live their dreams to the fullest. Really happy for her. This was a very well made and interesting video. Thanks for sharing National Geographic.

awww this video made me cry, i dont know why. maybe because it was so calm, and i loved what she said almost at the end that snails make her feel like life can slow down. She has a very calming energy. I have a lot of plants and two cute lil snails would always come when it rained but they disappeared until a few days ago i saw one of them again, dont know what happened to the other one though.

One day a turtle was assaulted by a group of snails. When the police arrived they asked the turtle for a description of the unruly snails. The turtle replied; “I don’t know, it all happened so fast.” True story.🤗😉

Oh how I love this! Makes me want a pet snail again but I learned my lesson: A few years ago me and my sister's all made snails aquariums but pretty soon the had multiplied into hundred and were eating an entire head of lettuce a day! So we took them back to the forest where we found them. Started out with about 10 each and in a few months had thousands.
