Didn't Carta already cut costs, isnt it already 200$ cheaper than the puffco, its expensive but when i looked at both, price made the decision simple id rather spend 430$ CAD than 670$ CAD

Dab x rips but like he said most of the money went towards marketing rather than R&D. The company would literally give you a free rig if you sent them a video destroying your puffco lmao. Theyve since then stopped after everyone and their mothers tried doing it I just like that it has temp control and a reclaim chamber for your oil

I bought the peak pro 2 years ago and had some buyers remorse afterwards. The thing rips but I thought i mightve spent too much. Good to see its holding strong in the #1 spot.
I felt the same way about the proxy especially because just stock it has no water filtration but it’s good just not 300$ good maybe 200$ at the max 220$😭🤣
I got the original puffco peak and I always found it underwhelming. My friend has the Carta and it hits twice as hard as my puffco, IDK about the peak pro though. I'm going with the Carta next I think. It is Puffco for maximum flavor and Carta for huge rips in my opinion.

Ive had the GPen Connect for 2 years now and its definitely served me well. Seeing it in D tier honestly gets me pretty excited. I cant wait to try out a higher tier rig!
Puffco is the worst in regards to customer service and shipping out orders. It took 2 months to receive replacement buckets with no reply to follow up email. Ordered a Dr. Dabber Switch/Sic Insert on 4/20 discount and it was to me 3 days. Don't need to dial in the temp using my phone, Switch has 25 different heat settings to choose from.
Yeah man, I just ordered the OG Peak and the 3rd party delivery service said they attempted to deliver it and failed and since I live in an apartment building there’s no way to know when they’re coming since the tracking is delayed by a few hours before it updates
So theres a dab bar down from my house that uses the OG peak & also sells them brand new in the box for $199+tax, just like the Puffco site. With that being said, if i could take the shipping situation out of the equation all together by buying it locally, is it still a good device for the $?

Thats the only thing that really pulls me towards DrDabber stuff cause those glass attachments are REALLY my style of preference tbh & theyre less than $100 a piece, if even that much at all. But the price difference is just wild for my budget. & Also, mind ya im not a heavy dabber tbh with ya. On a HEAVY day i can, at absolute most, consume a gram of some good quality badder. But thats like not at all a common amount for me to smoke. My heart will always be in the flower over everything. But i refuse to hit bangers anymore cause its just a lil too similar to when i was a meth addict & heating up glass to smoke it just always never got me into enjoying it so much. But the moment i hit a Puffco Peak & i learned about erigs, that changed everything for me lol so now im just trying to invest in whats best for me long term. Thanks again 👍
In all honesty the core 2.1 is the best e rig on the market for the price. It would be one of the best even it was 300 dollars, the fact that it only costs 155 is fucking insane
i just got the core 2.0 and love the fact i can replace any parts and the hits from my core 2.0 feel better than my brothers carta 2 (i just couldnt get the temperatures right)but the core straight out the box it just worked perfectly
I’ve had a carta 2 and a g pen roam for a while now, can’t complain with the carta 2 if you turn off the RGB the battery lasts a lot longer BTW. G pen roam clogs and has some airflow issues but besides that it’s great
You can smoke bubble hash out of the proxy too! It’s marketed as a hash pipe, but dry bubble hash (not even necessary to be full melt) works well and cleans up EASILY.

The puffco peak pro with the 3D chamber is where it’s at for me. I usually only do hash rosin so the temp control accuracy is really great. Also just recently got the proxy and I gotta say for a more portable option I haven’t found anything better.
How often do you clean your puffco peak.. my issue is that sometimes I won't clean it in time and my atomizer will weld to the ceramic dish and the wires would get pulled out if I tried to replace the dish. That shit is not cheap I've spent more on atomizers than the device itself. Other than that I love how durable the battery is, I've had mine for over 2 1/2 years.
@@tionlover I usually clean the glass attachment daily if not every few days and I clean atomizer/battery monthly. I started replacing the ceramic dish every month instead of trying to make it last which usually ruins the atomizer and can be more costly to replace. There's also videos out there that show you how to rewrap the wiring in the atomizer which usually fixes it.
My Source Orb V4 is 7 years old and still going strong. It’s got an all brass body with beautifully precise machining. It’s unique because it’s 100% mechanical so it just won’t die as long as you clean your coils and have a 510 connector. Source is also the only company that I’ve seen post COAs for their coils. Im not sure how their quality is nowadays.
The hits with the ispire is amazing with a different carb cap. The one it comes with is so bad, but another point about the ispire is that the concentrate vapor doesn’t run through the actual device, only the glass so its much easier to clean
@@actuallyfainted9506 the boost evo TDE carb cap! It comes with a silicone seal and works so amazingly it hits just as good as a puffco I own both. I use both all the time like if one dies then I’ll use one for awhile while the other charges
I have the Ispire Daab and use the Dr. Dabber flat carb cap, it definitely makes the device hit much better, but my Carta 2 blows it out of the water honestly. I get way better rips at 475 on my Carta, whereas my Daab really needed to be at 550 and use much bigger dabs to generate any decent vapor. I really wanted to love the Daab because of the all glass system and induction heating, but they don't seem to have it figured out yet. Bonus points for the horrific customer service and lack of any replacement parts.
with the crossing core 2.0/2.1 i believe it's more a collaboration(?) with Divine Tribe they're an erig/vape business from Humboldt that's been designing some of the best portable erigs for a while now, and you can really tell they put a lot into design.
Dtv5 with a bottomless banger has been my home rig for about 2 years now, great device that absolutely blows my peak pro with 3D/Jcvap chambers. Peak pro best for portability though
i have 6 of these devices. lookah unicorn is bottom of my list while the boost evo is my go to daily driver. boost evo has temp settings from 450-750 and the power hit really throws some clouds out even at the lowest setting. Xmax Qomo is also not horrible for the price
I feel like this ranked list is unfairly harsh on the Dr dabber switch and Evo. Dr dabber switch has given me the best tasting and most satisfying hits of any erig in my life, and it's meant as a desktop rig not a super portable device. The main advantage other than the good thermic transfer is the path the vapor takes goes straight from evaporation to the bubbler without going through a pipe in the device which is where most other erigs fail for heavy use dabbers IMO. Thanks for leaving your opinion on the evo
The Yocan orbit is also a real good budget pen, not sure if they make a water adapter but for a dry dab device it rips and massive flavor. The terp pearls actually work too!
I got 1 I'm not a big fan you can't really take big/decent sized hits without it clogging. I end up having to hit it a bunch of times to get the high I want.
The only e-rig I would still recommend checking out after this is the JCVAP Pockety. A lot of the people over on FuckCombustion really like it and it's not unreasonably priced. The stock glass seems pretty mid, but I've heard it has a really great atomizer and the temp is fully adjustable with a range of 350-650 F
Agree 100%. Pockety with AIN insert is fantastic and thought I have never used the Pufco, others who have used both tend to say Pockety is MUCH better. Cheaper too.
You missed one. Its probably pretty underrated but its the Dabtron by SeshGear. Its simple and easy to use and has good quality build and does not feel cheap. It has a couple of drawbacks like some pieces are glass and subject to break, but take care of it and it will serve you well. Great battery life, 4 levels of heat, glass coil bowl and hits nice and puffy!
I'm in love with my Duvo X. Got it on sale for $100, has a 3D atomizer & comes with an extra ceramic dish/coil and other accessories. Lowest heat setting is perfect and it even has a manual mode, where you can just hold the power button, if you don't want it to continuously heat for the full 80 seconds but you can also just cut it off short, so.. I don't use manual mode but it's there. *ONLY* negative(s) is no battery life indicator but you know when you need to charge it, after some time with it and the website and user manual has completely different information for heat settings and the color guide. I even saw one person's manual that had both different settings in the SAME booklet, lmao. I guess they were in the middle of switching the printed text to update it. The current info on their website is the correct order.
I have one and I want to love it but it burns my dab on the lowest setting which is green right lol. If I don't put a monster dab in it. It will burn and scorch the atty. Do you have this issue?
I have a High 5 E-Nail with titanium bucket. Has a glass bucket, but I like the titanium better. Can even get terp pearls to spin. It won't spin with stock carb cap, have to buy one that is for making terp pearls spinning. Mines flat like a coin, just thicker. Like 4 quarters thick.
The Dr dabber switch is also induction heated and was the first of its kind. The problem most people have with Dr dabber is the lack of patience, because imo they have the steepest learning curve.
Hey Cewpins, I noticed that your mentioned the low battery life for the Carta 2 being the issue. After my first base stopped working (after over 200 dabs in, with bad battery life like you have), I sent it back for warranty service. They sent me a new Carta 2 base, and the battery performance is so good. It seems like the first lot that got shipped out had went out with battery issues. Maybe you could try to get warranty service regarding for faulty batteries and see if they'll replace your base with the updated batteries. Couldn't hurt to try ... they hooked me up with a replacement base, and with the new Carta 2 base, I get up to 25 60 second sessions at around 480. 360 dabs in, and it's still keeping the battery charged for a long day of dabbing.
@@cheddarbob9373 it might be a software problem. I don't change any of my LED settings. RN I'm running it at 440 ... I'll have to track my use and see how good the charge retention behaves over time.
@@jasonholler755 i created one preset when i first got it and havent messed w it since. i usually go in at 470-490 for 60secs( i like vapor and i sadly have a lot of crumble atm). i will say when i turn the lights and screen off i can get 25 or so dabs out of it but would love to b able to do that no matter what. do u think the temp/time itself also has affect?
To the carta 2 owners, consider getting a wireless charger. I got one from t-mobile for $17 and it works great. Whenever you set your carta 2 down, you set it on there and no more worrying about battery level. I enjoy the lights so I refuse to deny myself the light show in order to save battery, no need.
They created the 3D chamber first too. Since released before puffco dropped theirs. Lol. I have a Peak Pro but wanted/want the Carta 2 when it was up for preorder

i have the ispire daab and don’t get me wrong it took a while to get used to it and get it all dialed in with the carb cap and all but with a rubber seal on the stock carb cap and a lil terp pearl i have no complaints. super flavorful and always goes thru all of what i put in it no matter how small the dab is plus the replaceable batteries means you never have to wait for it to charge if you got extras
Bought a Dr Dabber Boost for like $200 it charges but the power button doesnt work. Tried to bring it back to the smoke shop less then a half an hour later and they told me no refunds and to call the company for its warranty tried that and they told me they dont carry it under warranty under anymore. Was such an awful experience I haven't tried or been able to afford to buy another E-Rig since. Can this thing be fixed?

I have a puffco proxy that my boss gave me because he’s not a dab guy but it’s a nice little travel rig it has 3 heat settings and works really well for a lower end electric rig

Yo man what's your honest opinion on the lookah seahorse plus? I think it's the best option if you're looking for a good way to dab without heating up a rig or anything, also the hose that comes with it you can attach to a rig then dab with the seahorse pretty neat
I bought a puffco peak pro from this video and hated it. I think maybe I am just different. I am looking more for a "nail" experience having come from domeless nails. I want thick clouds not a slow faint hit. If its not like a bong hit, its not worth it. I wish he went into the dr dabber switch more. He really didn't know anything about it and back then it made me chose the peak pro to begin with. Now I have tried almost as many has he has.. I know the Switch is really different than the rest on the list. The induction heating coil is behind glass so the dabs never touch the heating elements... there is not atomizer to degrade or go bad. There is just a metal cup touching the glass... to clean it all I do it torch the cup and let it cool... It's the nicest thing ever... easy to clean and now I can get big thick clouds. I'll admit its not very portable, but none of the smaller rigs worked for me after trying 3-4 others (after the peak pro). As he said they are all just clones of a few models besides the Switch. The portability is not a big deal for me. I just have a backpack dedicated to my rig that I throw it in with everything already ready to go. I can set it up in a few minutes.
Got the DabX go. No complaints titanium parts unique atomizer comes with two atomizers a dab tool carrying case fully cleanable with iso alcohol even the atomizers. you can replace the rechargeable batteries and they have replacement glass. Would definitely buy it again even if it increased in price by $100! Thinking of buying the Carta2 as well.
I like my Carta Classic 2023. It still has the customizable app and the RGB lights in the glass with the same glass top as the Carta 2 with an all black base unlike the ugly black and white one and I only paid 150$ with express shipping.
the carta 2 retails for 350 but you can usually find them for around 250 at shops. can be used out of the box at its max capabilities. youre looking at 500 to get the same hits from a peak pro

Damnnn ppl don’t fw the high five duo, it’s better than the standard puffco in my opinion, I’ve had mine 3 years, one replacement atomizer (cuz I broke it cleaning, lol haven’t cleaned since because residue doesn’t touch the atomizer, all the smoke is pulled away from it) and get about 15-30 hits per power bar (3), depending on the hit extend time limit

…i started with Yocan Evolve, perf ct for a novice…have 2 TOQi, black and white…510 batteries with nice sleek design but terrible ergonomics…overbalanced by weight of carts, 1/2 gm slighty better lol, and doesn’t stand up…which is a big problem…good hits but outweighed by issues…

Completely disagree on gpen hyer. For on the go I like the puffco pro is better but at home the hyer is hands down favorite device. I run on lower setting and just hits all day with all kinds of flavor
Lol tell me you haven’t used lookah products longer than five minutes without saying it. I own a puffco and a unicorn full size and unicorn mini. The lookah products rip, cost less, and have the same if not better build quality. Lol don’t listen to what this guy says. He genuinely just wants you to break the bank for name brands. Lookah is great for the cost, and please learn how to use it before saying it’s junk. (Context- I own pretty much everything made after 2010- from volcanos, arizer, pax, puffco, you name the rig or set up- I have it) Lookah is the best bang for the buck. Specifically the swordfish for personal dabs, and the unicorn mini for a more group friendly tool.
Have you checked out the new Yocan Black series they just released?? They got a puffco peak pro type model, Lookah seahorse max type, a handheld one, and one that’s kinda like their own design?! All of them no more than 150.00
Yes, cost must be factored in but they make a quality product you can count on. The pro and proxy are my best rigs but understand things are changing and competition is after that Puffco spot so maybe better out there cheaper.

My favorite has been the dabX GO. Ive been using it for around a year. The travel case is awesome. I call it Dubai because it makes clouds. 4 temps. Carb. Best thing i own. Friends underestimate it the first time. Takes a while to figure out how long to hit it because milking it till it cuts off is too much for most. 300$ compared to my friends puffco 420$.
Holy shit I didn't think it would ever happen! I went ahead and ordered a Peak Pro last week after waiting around to see if this would come out, haha! I just bought an Ispire Wand last night but I’m planning on using it primarily for my Dynavap since I already have a Peak Pro. I am curious to try out dabs using it, but I am worried I’ve been spoiled by my Peak/Pulsar Grav Bong set up. For everyone considering the Ispire who also likes vaporizing flower, I highly recommend a Dynavap!

I've had 80% of the device is on this list, plus a couple not on the list like the honey badger but that's older, and I'm telling you... IT'S THE VERY BEST. you just have to get a new cup every 2 to 3 months It's like $18. you actually don't even have to do that but if you want your hits to be like super tasty and easy, then yeah
Any thoughts on the YoCan Black Celestial? Do you think it forces you to take dabs at high temps? Or do the temp settings allow you to take small dabs without scorching the concentrates?
The drdab boost is a really great option from a size weight vs production. I like the water a little goes a long way for my old lungs ..a little pricey but worth every penny.
My rankings based on my past six month splurge and scourging on eBay 1) Puffco Peak Pro with 3D chambers 2)Focus V Carta 2 stock 3)Puffco Peak Pro with former stock non-3D Chamber 4)Peak OG 5) Puffco Plus pen 6) Puffco Proxy stock I’ve kinda soured on the Proxy. The modular nature of the atomizer is potentially cool and the hits are like 70% as good as it’s big brothers Peak OG/Peak Pro but as a travel device it’s not as portable as the Plus and if you’re going to carry around a travel case-might as well take a Peak variant. The Peak OG is only slightly worse than non 3D chamber pro due to micro USB charging and smaller battery-both hit near identical.
Y’all really sleep on dr dabber …. Pass thru charging aka battery literally never dies you can hit while it charges , torchable inserts , one cotton swab to fully clean the inside , AND IMPORTANTLY. Customer support responds less than 24 hours. You have so many additions like whip attatchment to plug it into another rig 300-800 degree temp range , instant magnetic induction heating … must I go on
Try the new Puffco Peak 3DXL chamber, takes e-rigs to a whole new level. Just got mine and don’t even want to use my original 3D chamber since the 3DXL is so much better

I finally picked up a peak pro today for $260. I've been using a seahorse pro Plus and a terp pen with quartz coil for the last couple years. The peak is like a whole new world haha. I'll get the 3d chamber at some point

Dog this is perfect timing to hit my evolv cricket alongside with. I have had near every e-rig device since the huni-badger and HVT Sai it is by far my favorite way to dab and I love that you cover this content. I know there are too many to get all of them but I hope you get the chance to at least try each device out there. One thing to consider for flower and e-rig devices is that Jerry from Troy and Jeryy Think Dank is also a Florida medical patient and he gets free devices to test them out from all sorts of companies so if you could do a collab session with their livestream/channel I bet he might let you borrow some new devices to make a video review on so you don't have to buy them all yourself.
If you put the gpen on the green sheeting you will get great dabs also if you gpen stops working take it apart from the magnet unscrew the atomizer and screw it back in and it works
You prolly wont read this...😅 BUT, If you put a Dr. Dabber TDE carb cap on the Ispire Daab it will change your whole opinon on the device. Its like a happy accident i found on reddit. Cause I thought the same thing and was displeased with the quality of the vapor it prduced with the supplied carb cap. It now RIPS. I enjoy it over my friends Carta 2 after changing the cap. Anyways.... loved the review. Subbed ❤
2024 def give the official lookah q7 a try! not the freezepipe version. There was an update to it and its amazing as long as its maintained . I got 2 of em and they give flavor that can compete with some of the greatest e nails
Ispire hosts first friday smoke seshes in LA every first friday of the month. They have their erigs around for you to try, which is how ive tried it. And i gotta say for what it does it does really well, but the investment required has me just going back to my puffco peak
This is depressing. I tried the Puffco back in 2018-19 and thought it was terrible. Compared to a classic banger, you'll never get that punch to the lungs and feel satisfied. How is it still top 5 for E-rig? I'll just stick to my E-nail for now. It needs to be plugged into a wall and put into a rig but you can get the perfect hit every time!
ive daily used my focus carta 2 for about a year and the atomizer started to not work as well, it would show a message saying the atomizer is not recognized and i had to unscrew it and put it back on and hope it would work 😂, and that was all fine and dandy till i woke up this morning for a wake and bake and it said it was working fine, i started the session and when it buzzed to let me know it was ready it was maybe 250 ish degrees when it said it was at 615. and now the company i think has gone under or isn’t producing at the same rate and i cant buy an atomizer anywhere. $80 for a new one if i could get it anyway so i figured i might as well just get a different rig. im looking at that Crossing Core 2.1 now

I bought the peak pro 2 years ago and had some buyers remorse afterwards. The thing rips but I thought i mightve spent too much. Good to see its holding strong in the #1 spot.

I got the original puffco peak and I always found it underwhelming. My friend has the Carta and it hits twice as hard as my puffco, IDK about the peak pro though. I'm going with the Carta next I think. It is Puffco for maximum flavor and Carta for huge rips in my opinion.

Puffco is the worst in regards to customer service and shipping out orders. It took 2 months to receive replacement buckets with no reply to follow up email. Ordered a Dr. Dabber Switch/Sic Insert on 4/20 discount and it was to me 3 days. Don't need to dial in the temp using my phone, Switch has 25 different heat settings to choose from.
Yeah man, I just ordered the OG Peak and the 3rd party delivery service said they attempted to deliver it and failed and since I live in an apartment building there’s no way to know when they’re coming since the tracking is delayed by a few hours before it updates

But the price difference is just wild for my budget. & Also, mind ya im not a heavy dabber tbh with ya. On a HEAVY day i can, at absolute most, consume a gram of some good quality badder. But thats like not at all a common amount for me to smoke. My heart will always be in the flower over everything. But i refuse to hit bangers anymore cause its just a lil too similar to when i was a meth addict & heating up glass to smoke it just always never got me into enjoying it so much. In all honesty the core 2.1 is the best e rig on the market for the price. It would be one of the best even it was 300 dollars, the fact that it only costs 155 is fucking insane

i just got the core 2.0 and love the fact i can replace any parts and the hits from my core 2.0 feel better than my brothers carta 2 (i just couldnt get the temperatures right)but the core straight out the box it just worked perfectly

I’ve had a carta 2 and a g pen roam for a while now, can’t complain with the carta 2 if you turn off the RGB the battery lasts a lot longer BTW. G pen roam clogs and has some airflow issues but besides that it’s great
You can smoke bubble hash out of the proxy too! It’s marketed as a hash pipe, but dry bubble hash (not even necessary to be full melt) works well and cleans up EASILY.

The puffco peak pro with the 3D chamber is where it’s at for me. I usually only do hash rosin so the temp control accuracy is really great. Also just recently got the proxy and I gotta say for a more portable option I haven’t found anything better.
How often do you clean your puffco peak.. my issue is that sometimes I won't clean it in time and my atomizer will weld to the ceramic dish and the wires would get pulled out if I tried to replace the dish. That shit is not cheap I've spent more on atomizers than the device itself. Other than that I love how durable the battery is, I've had mine for over 2 1/2 years.

@@tionlover I usually clean the glass attachment daily if not every few days and I clean atomizer/battery monthly. I started replacing the ceramic dish every month instead of trying to make it last which usually ruins the atomizer and can be more costly to replace. There's also videos out there that show you how to rewrap the wiring in the atomizer which usually fixes it.

My Source Orb V4 is 7 years old and still going strong. It’s got an all brass body with beautifully precise machining. It’s unique because it’s 100% mechanical so it just won’t die as long as you clean your coils and have a 510 connector. Source is also the only company that I’ve seen post COAs for their coils. Im not sure how their quality is nowadays.

The hits with the ispire is amazing with a different carb cap. The one it comes with is so bad, but another point about the ispire is that the concentrate vapor doesn’t run through the actual device, only the glass so its much easier to clean

I have the Ispire Daab and use the Dr. Dabber flat carb cap, it definitely makes the device hit much better, but my Carta 2 blows it out of the water honestly. I get way better rips at 475 on my Carta, whereas my Daab really needed to be at 550 and use much bigger dabs to generate any decent vapor. I really wanted to love the Daab because of the all glass system and induction heating, but they don't seem to have it figured out yet. Bonus points for the horrific customer service and lack of any replacement parts.
with the crossing core 2.0/2.1 i believe it's more a collaboration(?) with Divine Tribe they're an erig/vape business from Humboldt that's been designing some of the best portable erigs for a while now, and you can really tell they put a lot into design.
Dtv5 with a bottomless banger has been my home rig for about 2 years now, great device that absolutely blows my peak pro with 3D/Jcvap chambers. Peak pro best for portability though
i have 6 of these devices. lookah unicorn is bottom of my list while the boost evo is my go to daily driver. boost evo has temp settings from 450-750 and the power hit really throws some clouds out even at the lowest setting. Xmax Qomo is also not horrible for the price
I feel like this ranked list is unfairly harsh on the Dr dabber switch and Evo. Dr dabber switch has given me the best tasting and most satisfying hits of any erig in my life, and it's meant as a desktop rig not a super portable device. The main advantage other than the good thermic transfer is the path the vapor takes goes straight from evaporation to the bubbler without going through a pipe in the device which is where most other erigs fail for heavy use dabbers IMO. The Yocan orbit is also a real good budget pen, not sure if they make a water adapter but for a dry dab device it rips and massive flavor. The terp pearls actually work too!

I got 1 I'm not a big fan you can't really take big/decent sized hits without it clogging. I end up having to hit it a bunch of times to get the high I want.
The only e-rig I would still recommend checking out after this is the JCVAP Pockety. A lot of the people over on FuckCombustion really like it and it's not unreasonably priced. The stock glass seems pretty mid, but I've heard it has a really great atomizer and the temp is fully adjustable with a range of 350-650 F

Agree 100%. Pockety with AIN insert is fantastic and thought I have never used the Pufco, others who have used both tend to say Pockety is MUCH better. Cheaper too.

You missed one. Its probably pretty underrated but its the Dabtron by SeshGear. Its simple and easy to use and has good quality build and does not feel cheap. It has a couple of drawbacks like some pieces are glass and subject to break, but take care of it and it will serve you well. Great battery life, 4 levels of heat, glass coil bowl and hits nice and puffy!
I'm in love with my Duvo X. Got it on sale for $100, has a 3D atomizer & comes with an extra ceramic dish/coil and other accessories. Lowest heat setting is perfect and it even has a manual mode, where you can just hold the power button, if you don't want it to continuously heat for the full 80 seconds but you can also just cut it off short, so.. I don't use manual mode but it's there. *ONLY* negative(s) is no battery life indicator but you know when you need to charge it, after some time with it and the website and user manual has completely different information for heat settings and the color guide. I even saw one person's manual that had both different settings in the SAME booklet, lmao. I guess they were in the middle of switching the printed text to update it. The current info on their website is the correct order.
I have one and I want to love it but it burns my dab on the lowest setting which is green right lol. If I don't put a monster dab in it. It will burn and scorch the atty. Do you have this issue?

Hi 5 clasp style rig is the absolute best, extreme low temp dabbing, 400-450 f. Not portable and requires glass, both are pluses in my book
I have a High 5 E-Nail with titanium bucket. Has a glass bucket, but I like the titanium better. Can even get terp pearls to spin. It won't spin with stock carb cap, have to buy one that is for making terp pearls spinning. Mines flat like a coin, just thicker. Like 4 quarters thick.

The Dr dabber switch is also induction heated and was the first of its kind. The problem most people have with Dr dabber is the lack of patience, because imo they have the steepest learning curve.
Hey Cewpins, I noticed that your mentioned the low battery life for the Carta 2 being the issue. After my first base stopped working (after over 200 dabs in, with bad battery life like you have), I sent it back for warranty service. They sent me a new Carta 2 base, and the battery performance is so good. It seems like the first lot that got shipped out had went out with battery issues. Maybe you could try to get warranty service regarding for faulty batteries and see if they'll replace your base with the updated batteries. Couldn't hurt to try ... they hooked me up with a replacement base, and with the new Carta 2 base, I get up to 25 60 second sessions at around 480. 360 dabs in, and it's still keeping the battery charged for a long day of dabbing.

To the carta 2 owners, consider getting a wireless charger. I got one from t-mobile for $17 and it works great. Whenever you set your carta 2 down, you set it on there and no more worrying about battery level. I enjoy the lights so I refuse to deny myself the light show in order to save battery, no need.

i have the ispire daab and don’t get me wrong it took a while to get used to it and get it all dialed in with the carb cap and all but with a rubber seal on the stock carb cap and a lil terp pearl i have no complaints. super flavorful and always goes thru all of what i put in it no matter how small the dab is plus the replaceable batteries means you never have to wait for it to charge if you got extras
Bought a Dr Dabber Boost for like $200 it charges but the power button doesnt work. Tried to bring it back to the smoke shop less then a half an hour later and they told me no refunds and to call the company for its warranty tried that and they told me they dont carry it under warranty under anymore. Was such an awful experience I haven't tried or been able to afford to buy another E-Rig since. Can this thing be fixed?

I bought a puffco peak pro from this video and hated it. I think maybe I am just different. I am looking more for a "nail" experience having come from domeless nails. I want thick clouds not a slow faint hit. If its not like a bong hit, its not worth it. I wish he went into the dr dabber switch more. He really didn't know anything about it and back then it made me chose the peak pro to begin with. Now I have tried almost as many has he has.. I know the Switch is really different than the rest on the list. The induction heating coil is behind glass so the dabs never touch the heating elements... there is not atomizer to degrade or go bad. There is just a metal cup touching the glass... to clean it all I do it torch the cup and let it cool... It's the nicest thing ever... easy to clean and now I can get big thick clouds. I'll admit its not very portable, but none of the smaller rigs worked for me after trying 3-4 others (after the peak pro). As he said they are all just clones of a few models besides the Switch. The portability is not a big deal for me. I just have a backpack dedicated to my rig that I throw it in with everything already ready to go. I can set it up in a few minutes.
Got the DabX go. No complaints titanium parts unique atomizer comes with two atomizers a dab tool carrying case fully cleanable with iso alcohol even the atomizers. you can replace the rechargeable batteries and they have replacement glass. Would definitely buy it again even if it increased in price by $100! Thinking of buying the Carta2 as well.
I like my Carta Classic 2023. It still has the customizable app and the RGB lights in the glass with the same glass top as the Carta 2 with an all black base unlike the ugly black and white one and I only paid 150$ with express shipping.

Damnnn ppl don’t fw the high five duo, it’s better than the standard puffco in my opinion, I’ve had mine 3 years, one replacement atomizer (cuz I broke it cleaning, lol haven’t cleaned since because residue doesn’t touch the atomizer, all the smoke is pulled away from it) and get about 15-30 hits per power bar (3), depending on the hit extend time limit

Yes, cost must be factored in but they make a quality product you can count on. The pro and proxy are my best rigs but understand things are changing and competition is after that Puffco spot so maybe better out there cheaper.

My favorite has been the dabX GO. Ive been using it for around a year. The travel case is awesome. I call it Dubai because it makes clouds. 4 temps. Carb. Best thing i own. Friends underestimate it the first time. Takes a while to figure out how long to hit it because milking it till it cuts off is too much for most. 300$ compared to my friends puffco 420$.

I am curious to try out dabs using it, but I am worried I’ve been spoiled by my Peak/Pulsar Grav Bong set up. The drdab boost is a really great option from a size weight vs production. I like the water a little goes a long way for my old lungs ..a little pricey but worth every penny.
When or if you try the dragon egg buy the A, B, C and D Lookah 710 coils and try them all to see if any of the options offer a killer hit!

I’ve kinda soured on the Proxy. The modular nature of the atomizer is potentially cool and the hits are like 70% as good as it’s big brothers Peak OG/Peak Pro but as a travel device it’s not as portable as the Plus and if you’re going to carry around a travel case-might as well take a Peak variant.
The Peak OG is only slightly worse than non 3D chamber pro due to micro USB charging and smaller battery-both hit near identical.
Y’all really sleep on dr dabber …. Pass thru charging aka battery literally never dies you can hit while it charges , torchable inserts , one cotton swab to fully clean the inside , AND IMPORTANTLY. Customer support responds less than 24 hours. You have so many additions like whip attatchment to plug it into another rig 300-800 degree temp range , instant magnetic induction heating … must I go on

I have had near every e-rig device since the huni-badger and HVT Sai it is by far my favorite way to dab and I love that you cover this content. I know there are too many to get all of them but I hope you get the chance to at least try each device out there.

BUT, If you put a Dr. Dabber TDE carb cap on the Ispire Daab it will change your whole opinon on the device. Its like a happy accident i found on reddit. Cause I thought the same thing and was displeased with the quality of the vapor it prduced with the supplied carb cap. It now RIPS. I enjoy it over my friends Carta 2 after changing the cap. Anyways.... loved the review. Subbed ❤

This is depressing. I tried the Puffco back in 2018-19 and thought it was terrible. Compared to a classic banger, you'll never get that punch to the lungs and feel satisfied. How is it still top 5 for E-rig? I'll just stick to my E-nail for now. It needs to be plugged into a wall and put into a rig but you can get the perfect hit every time!

ive daily used my focus carta 2 for about a year and the atomizer started to not work as well, it would show a message saying the atomizer is not recognized and i had to unscrew it and put it back on and hope it would work 😂, and that was all fine and dandy till i woke up this morning for a wake and bake and it said it was working fine, i started the session and when it buzzed to let me know it was ready it was maybe 250 ish degrees when it said it was at 615. and now the company i think has gone under or isn’t producing at the same rate and i cant buy an atomizer anywhere. $80 for a new one if i could get it anyway so i figured i might as well just get a different rig. im looking at that Crossing Core 2.1 now
