What a surprise a garage getting the injectors wrong and the fact they did not even bother to program it. Your customers are lucky to have a mobile mechanic that actually knows what they are doing. Hope you and the wife have a great week
I came across your channel a few videos ago and became fascinated with your work. I really enjoyed this particular video, and now I'm hooked! I know little about car mechanics, but I enjoy supping a cuppa and watching your working week progress. I've subscribed, and I'm looking forward to many more videos. Thank you.
I did thermostat housing on the Mondeo mk 5, bit of a nightmare, I didn’t want to take too much off, but the 8mm at the back was a pain, for 2 L engine there’s no room whatsoever
Thank you 👍🏼 and yeah still have plans to do full resto or at least something with it to get back on the road just need to find some time which is the difficult part
It’s very good to be honest, it has down everything asked of it so far, only thing I’d say is I prefer a Bluetooth dongle but for the price these go for it’s a small sacrifice to make
Wonder how many ' fixing a mobile mechanics mistakes " videos are on TH-cam ? Saw one the other day ( uk ) where the car he was working on ran away from him and crashed in to his van.
Yeah will be ok, like anything though, 2 exact same cars, 1 can have loads of issues and the other none, and they can be expensive when they go wrong 👍🏼
The wetbelt system is a bit dumb.... Not only does it take longer to do... at extra cost to someone.... more parts are needed... again at extra cost to that someone... and its also well publicised to have suicidal tendencies
Knowledge is a valuable thing and you fixed an injection problem on that Renault and you knew that they counted from right to left as the correct order of the cylinders most east west engines are from left to right and l don't get wet belts Toyota would never use them they are all cam chains the most reliable infact the cam chain l think has been in my Hilux for 438000 kilometres and problems created by the illegal removal of cat converters that doesn't happen in Australia because to cash in a cat converter you need to be licensed it works so no car converter thefts and that Kia or Hyundai van with that stuffed turbo well all l can say typical South Korean rubbish
@@kerbsidemobilemechanic ln Australia l have never struck a dodgy mechanic although l haven't used them that much because l call myself an ameture mechanic l can do the basic stuff and l can watch you doing the repairs amd follow you easily and actually learnt a few things and l cut my teeth on 1960s Hillmans
Would save time and money by buying sensor with plug on new one.
That’s how a lot of aftermarket sensors come 👍🏼

What's with the isolated sound? Have you blocked all the ambient noise? It's like a podcast 😂
😂on some sections yeah as the background noise is so loud
Amazes me why they didn't look spec to get the right position.
Sort of a easy mistake to make but really most mechanics should know this
Nice work. What diag tool do you use?
I use various machines but the one you see is called the Launch 601
@@kerbsidemobilemechanichow do you rate the launch 601 with other one you use?

Hey mate in your opinion are dsg gear boxes reliable
Hmmm they do have issues tbf but I think they are great gearboxes
