Mercer felt the world had nothing for him and so he would remake it in his image. But when he saw Heller and his genuine love for his daughter, he changed his mind. I mean he said he wanted to make Maya ‘mother of the new world’ but did me? I mean he had her, why didn’t he just infect her and get it done? I mean he just locks her in a vault with Dana to meet Heller. Why didn’t just Mercer kill Heller after the white light was exposed when clearly was so much stronger. Heller said he couldn’t but he’s still much stronger. Bottom line, Mercer wanted to lose.

@@Watcherofprovidence Originally Alex's intention was to turn James into an evolved, but he became a prototype with the difference that he could evolve his bioweapons and develop resistance to consumption, as for why it did not infect maya I think he wanted to wait for her to have a more mature body, they still nerfed Alex knowing that he should have total manipulation to the Mercer virus that he created and more that he absorbed his evolved and should see his armor used, which is an ability that James does not have canonically
@Razor 2You are right, Alex has much more time converted into a prototype and more than he is the reincarnation of the blacklight virus without forgetting that he consumed elizabeth green and can completely regenerate from with any part of his body, they gave him a nerf
Prototype 1 and 2 have been two of my favorite games and it is surprising to see such a magnificent mod that incorporates both games, like the movesets from the first one and the new features from the second, plus the final boss fight ones! My compliments, keep up the magnificent work.
It would be crazy if this sort of stuff happened in Prototype 2. Imagine having to run away from an army of Evolved that you can't beat in a straight up fight. There would be a new meaning of fear when opposing Alex Mercer.
what whitelight does in the games cannon: make evolved what it does in gameplay: make basic cannon fodder infected damn it activision, not only did you make mercer more or less just sit there and die in the final boss fight but now i cant fight evolved whenever i want but THIS lad RIGHT HERE, fan of alex, HE knows whats up; it was fun to play as alex mercer, and all the other things he is doing to his game, THATS the way we wanted to play this game
