Dracula's a well-respected character for a reason. Other than his usual schticks, he has a level of awareness about who he is as a person, as a vampire. And there's one good fact about vampires he knows well. The insatiable thirst for blood is with vampires for their eternal lives, and that means Blade as well. Being half-human won't stop the half that is vampire for wanting blood. So long as Blade is a dhampir, he will continue to struggle against the urge to drink blood, because blood is how vampires live off of. I heard about the vampire cure in the trilogy, and it makes me question if the cure will truly work on him. A question with an answer that will never be revealed. Point remains that Dracula left Blade with such a grim reminder that Blade won't be able to shake off so easily. He pretty much despises his vampiric half side, and he's pissed at vampires because they turned his mother into a vampire while she was pregnant with him, thus affecting him. His anger at the vampires is derived from the fact that he will never know his normal human life because of them. And that's the kicker, even if he eradicates every single vampire off the earth, there will still be himself left.

I didn’t see anyone take a sample of his infected blood to harvest the virus. I didn’t see the virus spread outside the building. I don’t understand what was so important about killing him with it..........
I liked the movie itself, but, personally? I enjoyed the "alternate ending" more. (In it, Drake actually rises again, proving he's like Blade, essentially un-killable.)
@@TheJECNova I noticed you wrote it as "alternate ending" in your comment as if you're hinting at that's the ending you would've liked to have seen but didn't get so yes, I do get the idea but that was a bit vague, so that's why I was just explaining the ending scene on the DVD/blu in the morgue when Blade gets up from the slab and attacks the medical examiners. That was meant to be Blade himself in that particular alternate ending, not the body of Drake. They explain it on one of the DVD/blu ray commentaries at the end. Here in this video, it's just the theatrical body switch ending where Drake's body in the morgue disguised as Blade so Blade could make a getaway.
This ending didn't make much sense at all. It describes Drake disguising himself as Blade with his last powers, but how can that be if we clearly saw that Drake was posing as himself when he died? Also, how can Drake pose as Blade after dying, while he is laying on real Blade's spot? The FBI may not know this, but the viewer does, if they watch the scene in more detail. Speaking of details, the positions of at least Blade in his comatoes state (and maybe Drake as well, but it is less clear) differ from shot to shot in the endings of both this theatrical and the extended version. Storywise, the extended version's ending makes more sense, but it still includes these errors. One final thing that I think went wrong with the story is this: If Drake was taken away by the FBI while he was in disguise, how could the real Blade escape while he was out cold? And if the FBI took away the real Blade, as in the extended version's ending, then how did they overlook Drake's body (they may not know that Drake was a vampire, but he didn't turn to ash when he died)?

The point was that Dracula was needed to activate it. It’s stated that it would take possibly years for the virus to circulate the globe.
Biel is so hot.

If there are no more vampires Blade can just use the cure on himself.

I liked the movie itself, but, personally? I enjoyed the "alternate ending" more. (In it, Drake actually rises again, proving he's like Blade, essentially un-killable.)
That was the real Blade in the alternate ending, not Drake. They were going for a darker ending with that one.
@@austinwillcut4919 ... do you have ANY idea what I'm even talking about?
One final thing that I think went wrong with the story is this:
If Drake was taken away by the FBI while he was in disguise, how could the real Blade escape while he was out cold? And if the FBI took away the real Blade, as in the extended version's ending, then how did they overlook Drake's body (they may not know that Drake was a vampire, but he didn't turn to ash when he died)?
@@williamwilting That's why this movie is a complete dumpster fire, they obviously didn't care to think any of this through and it shows.
great dramatic ending to a great marvel trilogy blade how blade got marvel in the spotlight with making box office money wesley snipes made the blade role see how the new blade film goes next year november 2023 with marshali ali
I was today years old when I learnt this ending existed, the one I know has blade wake up in the autopsy room instead
The War never really doe end. Can take the soldier out of the war, but never the ear out of the soldier. Know that too well.
What's the OST playing at 2:20 ? The partying gift was dope
Hello, this was one of my favorite OST of all time.
When move was released I was 14.
Since I was big fan of Metal Gear Solid, I loved to look at great themes in movies and games.
In this scene we have big one!
In 2024 Today, thanks to the Spotify recommendation I found that OST used in this final scene of Blade Trinity is :
John Murphy - Frank’s Death - Soldiers (Requiem in D Minor)
Wasn’t there an alternate ending filmed that showed Blade finally succumbing to the thirst and feeding?
That was Drake impersonating Blade.
Blade's next battle: Volturi.
Prison Drake
Great Scene
Love the ending ❤❤❤❤❤ I have so much respect for drake
The movie was not that bad just the script was off but it had a good ended
I wish Wesley Snipes could reprise his role as Blade but instead of an anti-hero be a villain because he couldn't control the thirst
What happened to the ending where blade potentially gives into the thirst and tries to attack the nurse?
That's the unrated ending. This was the theatrical cut.
Music ?
So doesnt drake survive???? I don't remember
I think he didnt because they use some kind of acid or something.

@@TheRealist1. oh ok
If I'm not mistaken the police didn't believe Blade about vampires existing so wen they came in and seen ashes by sunlight along with Drake disguised as Blade it kinda was a reality check that Blade isn't crazy

Instead of trying to recreate daywalkers, the vamps should have tried to suppress the thirst instead.
Ok I get the point,he is the good guy in the movie but he didn't win with honor,he got help, where is the honour in this story if you fight 1vs1 and you get help?
Blade did took Drake on a 1v1 fight but he needed all the help to bring him down.
@@romelnegut2005 Yes which means he didnt fight and die with honor instead he chickened out....
The honor is accepting your down fall and weakness and accepting help
@@VitunVatiVille don’t know if you saw but drake also had a henchman helping him. He was just a lame.
@@naija395 I saw him but that henchman came to help him on his own accord.(and he was a major ashole in the movie who had no dignity or honor of his own he just wanted to get a cheap shot in) And we clearly see that Drake didnt call out for anyone to help him against Blade.
If Dracula still had his kingdom and after he died, do anyone think he would have inherited his kingdom to Blade rather than any other vampire in the world?
Best scene of blade trilogy
In the tv show it was shown blade could make other vampires but they were not like him. They were the same as the rest.
He made that rumours so that people dont bother him..🤣🤣🤣 got the idea from the bat..😅 jungle..
