I’m 42 and have been on the pill since I was 16 as I’m not putting up with painful periods! Game changer. I’ll be on it for life/until I’m well past menopause completely. It’s not something I worry about. Medically there is no issue being on it long term, and who wants periods anyway!
My friend is obsessed with brass polishing. She saw my Mum's kitchen scales, and brass polished the dish. It has come up a treat. ❤ I love that you painted your kitchen scales. You have so much greenery to make some amazing winter vases. ❤
Hi Charlie. The cream scales look great! Lovely vlog, thanks for sharing. Period journeys - different for everyone. So happy to be period free nowadays! 😊🌻
We have a Nigel...he's called Geoff....our lovely odd job man...he took early retirement and thought he'd top up his pension doing odd jobs...he's never been so busy 😂 his business card reads " Geoff"s jobs"...he's a godsend 😅😅
The scales look wonderful (blue seems to be a bit of a weird colour to begin with.) We have finally hung our pictures in our new home. It's amazing the difference they make. Looking forward to seeing your home decorated for Christmas. xx
Really glad you found a lip treatment. I am trying something new I picked up at Sephora and trying to remember to use my gentle face scrub from Clairns on my lips to get rid of the dry scaly bits first. Really gets annoying doesn't it. Also please to hear nothing too sinister with the throat drama. Will be great to get the Barium Test done and know what is going on for sure. Feel sure there is a solution. I am trying as well to get my Christmas Mojo going inside now. We have been really socked in with about 3 ft of snow here in Calgary so haven't gone to far afield; as driving is so much fun, not. Hopefully, this next week your carpenter comes to wind up the loose ends and all will be finished for the holidays. All is looking really well considering. Have a lovely weekend.
May I suggest some Museum Wax to hold that lovely antique up there securely? If there is bad weather and rattling, I was concerned that it could fall and injure someone. Museum Wax is designed to hold antiquities securely even during an earthquake, so it might be a good option.
Hi Charlie, you are always so busy and you try to be 100% at everything. You have to look after yourself, take time out and do things which are good for your soul. I speak from my own experience, always go go go. Take a ride on your beautiful horses, not rushing, just enjoying the moment. Love Katharina 😊
Love the Christmas wreath , it looks wonderful on the front door, I’m hoping to make one but as always I’m rapidly running out of time ! The scales look amazing above the Aga…..can you share the finished result with the Christmas decs ? Thank you for honesty and openness re your health. I have recently returned to HRT and I just think you have to guided by the health professionals , it’s a bit of a minefield but I believe the benefits outweigh the risks for me so I’m going with it 🤞 Have a lovely week , take care and enjoy those hacks on Santana 😘😘
You've done a fabulous job on the scales. They look really good. Maybe I'll be inspired to get on and paint the kitchen chairs which I have been planning to do all year.
I recently painted my kitchen scales for the third time, in their 29 year life, they’ve gone from green to black to cream and I agree, so fiddly but so worth it! They are so much more reliable than battery ones.
I’m now giving “ Thumbs up “ before I’ve even watched ,Charlie 😂❤
Love you for doing that it all helps xx
