    Harley Davidson should have redesigned this bike as a naked bike. A new fresh design like what Yamaha and KTM have done. Nice job on the video and the history lesson .

    Great video, very interesting to hear your thoughts, exactly the kind of person I need to hear about the V-Rod from, a ZX-10R rider.. I've been through 5 ZX-10R's and was a little worried I'd be disappointed, but this looks like fun.

      You may be a bit disappointed to be honest. I always loved the vrod, but there is almost no comparison in performance, all around.
      Test ride one first.

    I'm a huge vrod fan. Thanks for this awesome video and the history lesson. You should have a ton more subs than you do!

    I like the VRod, but my heart is set on an M109R....sorry I'm 6'2 225. Definitely glad to see other AZ motovloggers. And yes it sounds like a sewing machine. Subbed!

      602_Busa thanks man! The M109 is a torque monster. The engine on that bike feels very similar to the Kawasaki vn2000. What a beast! I have a friend who just got an M109 and loves it. I need to hit him up for a test ride lol

    I csught it did you. Motor was developed by Porsche. It was based off the HD V R. 1000 Harley race motor.Porsche helped design it because they had knowledge turning air cooled motors water cooled. They also helped engineer the motor to be streetable and affordable for street production. But Harley alteady had the motor in race bikes is my point. A great bike no doubt l always wanted one. As it turns out l get mine this March 2018 in time for my birthday
    Im good to myself lol)

    Nice ride. VMax huh? I remember when the Max first came out and they took one to the strip for testing. It kept burning up rear tires! Nice vid man. Peace. (new gloves yet?)

      Chuck Mastin porsche had a big part of developing the engine, Yamaha bought it and made it their own. If it handled better, I would pick one up for around $4k for a secondary thrill ride.

    At six foot l wasnt all clam shelled riding as people say. And it felt pretty normal. Shorter riders who have legs fully exstended out riding would look like a taco shell. OR clam shelled as described. But the motors all hD it was developed from vr 1000 motor . and All things were approved by Willie G befor it was approved for production

    The vr1000 motor had engineers from Roush Cosworth and ofcoure Eric Buell developing that motor. I can honestly say its wonderful if you didnt want it for two up riding and hard saddles and trunk. Im in market for used HD found low like new ultraClassics. Roadking and vrod nightrod. I had ll these prior and its tough decision. I will probably buy UltraClassic or Roadking just because lm 58 want bags and like twoup riding.

      @Azlivin850  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try a Roadking. I have a video of a test ride of an '18 and I'll bet that it's exactly what you're looking for. I personally love that bike and if you're doing 2 up, it's perfect. Also the handling is excellent on a roadking. Thanks for the view! And good luck shopping.

      @@Azlivin850 Nine years ago a cager caused me a wreck. I took a 200.000.00 ass beating and it ruined my career as a union bridge carpenter. Itd probably been my favorite HD of six but l cant say. I didnt really have it long. Since then l had a full dress DuoGlide and a 2015superior blue Nightrod. Next bike l get lm keeping. Ill probably replace a bike with one l previously owned. Or my brother made me a great deal on Fatboy hes selling
