    Rose was perfect on iZombie. One of my favorite shows. I watched every episode….multiple times. She was brilliant. Such a wonderful character actor. She played a different character almost every weekend hit it out of the park. New brain,new character. I hope she has a long successful career.

    This is the perfect clip to post after the Globes and watching a bunch of stars revell in their glamour.
    This one's got her head on straight and clearly has a very realistic outlook.

    I know absolutely nothing about Rose McIver, so I have no preconceived ideas about her. In this interview, she comes across as having her feet firmly planted on the ground, realistic and sensible...qualities I really admire!

    She was awesome in IZombie. I did not realize she was a New Zealander. She had no accent that I picked up watching all the episodes. I never watched The Lovely Bones, but I do remember her in Once Upon a Time. I did not know she was a Power Ranger. She is a lovely talented young Lady indeed!

    Love iZombie! iZombie is a comfort watch for me and Rose is (of course) great in it! Haven't watched Ghosts yet, the British version being another show I love and am hesitant about any remake, even one feature Rose Mciver (I'll check it out eventually).

    • @JuiceMyRandomness
      @JuiceMyRandomness 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It took me a year. I am a Brit that now lives in America. I was so hesitant. The thing is, both shows are so different that I get different things from both shows. It’s so hard to compare.

    Funny everyone talks about her as the girl from iZombie, to me she was one of those Power Rangers who could act.

    • @finfog4590
      @finfog4590 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Sure. But are you saying she stood out for her acting on that show?

    • @KennethLyVideography
      @KennethLyVideography 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@finfog4590 Kinda yes. She comes from an era in Power Rangers and a season where the actors were particularly good. Especially considering the usual reputation of Power Rangers actors.

    • @finfog4590
      @finfog4590 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@KennethLyVideography It did have a lot of actors that went on to bigger things - so yeah, the talent pool was high. I just didn’t think she was exceptional on that show.

    • @KennethLyVideography
      @KennethLyVideography 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ I don't think I agree with that. Most Power Rangers actors went nowhere and was not taken seriously. It used to be considered career poision to be one. The handfull of them who did was from the same era as Rose. And RPM had 3 actors (including her) managing to move on to more mainstream projects. And tbh, just being good at acting is enough to stand out in Power Rangers.

    • @finfog4590
      @finfog4590 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ Yes, I’m with you on that. I’ve seen a lot of the rpm cast in things after the show.

      Sam Neil came in one night with his party to the Japanese restaurant I managed and I had to tell him the private Teppanyaki he'd booked was unavailable (either through staff error or his wife messing up the reservation it was unclear). A group of student walk-ins were there, who we totally could've rushed-they were spending a tiny fraction of what Sam's party would. I apologised and told him regardless of the error he'd have to be seated in the main restaurant and we'd look after him. He was pissed, but also knew he had no greater rights than those laughing kids having the time of their lives at his Teppanyaki. He graciously let us arrange a setting for his party and that was that. I didn't lose my job, Sam's family continued to patronise the restaurant and life went on. Kiwi's just don't really get star struck. Celebrities are ordinary people, even the Prime Minister will have folks yell out greetings or questions at them at traffic lights.

    She's being realistic. She was on a show for a year and might think she made it and the next week, they tell you the shows cancelled. It's a harsh business.
