Hi Roz wow what brilliant ride though the Rangers loved it . Its amazing how them rocks get into the crevices where the sun dont shine :) thank you for sharing the beautiful adventure along the way . Rolley :)
22:30 LOL I love the look - quite edgy, very attractive - LOL 🥰 (That is true Bull Dust - most fourbie travellers refer to loose sand as Bull Dust - they are wrong. You have experienced the real thing 😁 - and I do mean experienced 🤣.)
Cool 😎 track for sure mate “ when I do my trip to WA next year WOW 🤩, glad your ok 👌 “ looked like a soft landing anyway . A fantastic finish to your day mate 👍.
Hell Roz .....all I can say is that you are one resiliant adventure rider.... Matheus hit a poddy calf on our last ride at Rocky river and he didn't bounce back as well as you lol.....just love the ocre and blue colours......such a vast continent....well done.
Just subscribed after watching many of your adventures. Good for you doing this on your own. Should be very proud of your achievements. Keep it up and keep living life.
@@Skuffy1969 thanks mate 😁🙏 As a fellow 69’er we’re both old enough to know times running out but still young enough to cram in what we can, whilst we can! 🤞😂🏁🏍️ Carry on! 😜👍
@@RozalynVeersma Couldnt agree more. The interesting thing, outside of Enduro and MX camping in my 20's I have been road riding and racing and have not touched dirt (apart from supermoto) and got into ADV 3 months ago. What I have come to realise is I have missed sooooo much by sticking to the tar and wanting to just go faster. I should have done this 20 years ago. 😁😆
@@Skuffy1969 hahaha those damned sweet regrets! 🙄😂 I only discovered adventure riding a year before I took off on my big lap. It was a napalm year and I saw a bike in a mates garage & in my depressed state, I bought it because I needed to do something dangerous to take my mind off the crap that was going on inside my head. Turns out adventure riding is hands down THE BEST THERAPY EVER! 😂🙏 I too now wish I had a major mid-life crisis at age 30 because I would’ve covered every awesome trail on the planet by now! 🙄😂🏍️ Yep, there’s nothing quite like 2 wheels, dirt & nature. Jackpot indeed.
Hahaha luv the flashback. Mark nailed it. Just heard Daniel Riccardo and his new venture wild adventures for young Chinese looking for adventures not classic tourism. You could have ur own powder puff adventure. Natural chemical free (ignore diesel) powder. Hahaha only u would see the black crap as an invasion😂. Epic again we gotta go for a ride on the dirt will be a hoot. Although I might be slow bought a new dirt bike a while back rode it home from EMERALD QLD. Went back to work and adventures on hold. Haha only u could find a piece of 4WD detritus in the desert😂🥳hanging for the next vid, keep on riding. Xx
Hey roz love your vids.,.. I did the same run on my 701 3 weeks ago.. that short cut from merty merty to the stretzlecki track is open ( even though the gate has a lock on it... not locked ) you can access and use the shortcut... great track as well. Loved the mt hopelss road.. we camped in a riverbed there.. great country.. RIDE ON.. Cheers ric
OMG .. Roz .. What a epic time that was, who would of thought coming off was an option but it happened ... bloody BullDust !! .. The main thing is, your safe and wasn't hurt nor was the motorcycle, so carry on my dear .. Hugs from the HatMan.
Nice long dirt roads. I would have loved for you to have a video of your splashdown in the soft sand. I'm very happy that you were not injured, except for eating a lot of sand, and a little 300 seemed to come out of the splashdown without too much damage. I like the memory. It was interesting to see how differently geared the 250 versus the 300 are. The 300 sounds like it pulls much better. Oh yes, the throwback to an earlier episode of your nice little butt... SWEET! Mark's comment was priceless. I might agree with Mark. Boy, are you an entertaining little pit Wolfie. You imitating a bulldozer on your splashdown, shaking off the dust, you were covered in sand. I'm not sure you had time to say anything off-color as you were going down into the sand. During the covid lockdown, I accidentally did a forward flip, I didn't have time to say a word before I hit the groud... first thoughts, "I'm still here". 🫣 Thank God for off-road riding gear. Thank you Roz, what an amazing ride. Texas on the prairie, shaking off the sand
Honda CRF300L with Dunlop 606 on the rear and Pirelli Scorpion Rally on the front. Excellent combo indeed! I’ve got some vids in my TH-cam playlist library that shows all the mods to the bike. 2 episodes of upgrades so far and 1 more episode to go which I’ll make shortly!
Funny thing is, the forward flip threw me onto the ground headfirst and I didn't bounce like I used to... More of a splat! Fortunately for me, in all of my off-road gear, you couldn't tell that I was an old man. I was so graceful laying there on the ground, am I hurting anywhere? Nope You seem to be kind to everyone, talking to the young and old. You don't like the people that leave their trash or defame the public areas. Are you sure you're not from next door? Well, we are on the same planet. Next door maybe two or three continents away? "Texas, doing a splat on the prairie"
Mine was as slam dunk style splat too darlin! 😂 Both our Off’s sound eerily similar! 🤣 Yep, I do love humans a lot, young & old and everything in between 😍 just not the lazy buggers who have absolutely no respect for the beauty of nature and leave their rubbish behind. It’s the reason why we go out into nature, because of the beauty, so there’s absolutely no excuse to show such disrespect to it in my opinion. Yes darlin, I’m an ordinary girl who goes on extraordinary adventures! 😂🙏🏍💨😘
It was bloody cold & raining when I left Perth! 🥶 Then it was freezing through NSW. It’s only until the last week where the temps finally crept up high enough for me to wish I had my armour! 🙄😂 I’ll always take my armour with me next time! Miss my mad Maxine when it’s hot.
only old chocks have dust barths. glad you are OK.
