From preaching violence and negativity, to becoming spiritual and healing cancer, this is the journey of Bryson Potts. I truly had an amazing time researching and writing this topic, we spent a lot of time producing this one.

It sounds more like people have a problem with him continuing to portray a toxic image while being completely disingenuous with it. It was literally the label incentivizing him to become toxic again after a positive switch. If the label continued to back him financially then that would shift the narrative that you have to be negative to succeed in rap that these very label created.
The REAL reason he quit pushing spirituality and other things is because the label he was under gave him his “Final Warning”

The problem is the the system we created. I probably don't believe in any of Choppas "rememdies" but I would applaud any artist that attempts to spread more positivity by abandoning their upbringing. He tries, gets clowned for it, Label is basically saying "We want you to talk about guns", think about that... These rich ass mofos want this boy to keep promoting killing each other because it sells. We say look at this lame ass positive dude, we do'nt wanna hear that shit.

Bro Choppa is young, successful, famous, and HUMAN.. I get some of his actions look strange and hypocritical but at least he’s trying to follow a righteous path. to be fair hes a kid and has capitalized on jokes, pushed spirituality and then also explained he will separate music from his choices in life and preaches the healthy life style on youtube and still has a successful career after doing the spiritual music still. I think he's doing more than a lot of rappers and if you do like two seconds of research you can find out more about the message he's pushing , overall a very solid rapper in today's age while being very very young.

Not the music industry as a whole, just the specific subsidiary he was signed too. Both positivity and negativity sell but they have different audiences. The label he signed with focuses on promoting negativity so it makes sense they would be upset. There are positive focused labels in the music industry but Warner isn’t one of them. Not all music is about being negative not all music is about being positive. You gotta find a team/label that’s gonna help push whatever vibe you’re producing.
It’s sad how people love when you rap about negativity but the moment you start going positive they cover their ears.

I think the reason he was going through that spiritual awakening was because he caught an STI. During that time he kept talking about being celibate now, and he felt he needed to go through a lifestyle change. Time went by and he seems to just forget all about that. Don’t forget he’s a teenager. Its not uncommon for teenagers to suddenly become “woke” and change their worldview back and forth suddenly.

You don’t have to be the best person in the world to be spiritual. There’s no handbook of do’s and don’ts when it comes to spirituality, you can be spiritual woke and still be mentally weak. Actually that is the case more often than not…the mentally weak need more guidance than others so they turn to spirituality or religion for guidance, but if you ask me being conscious enough to recognize your own flaws and acknowledge the fact that you need help fixing them puts you in a higher class than 60% of the earth.
