VERSE 1 They took him to a court yard and striped him of his robes.
They gambled for his garments, with his head held low.
They smote him and they mocked him and said, "Why not save yourself?"
If you're really who you say you are this should be no contest.
While struggling to carry that man-made torture rack
They shouted "Crucify him!" with the whole world's sin upon his back.
With a crown of thorns upon his head and above him was his name
A solider spat into his precious face and said, "Now Jesus where's your fame?"
    CHORUS
CHORUS But they will bow before him and worship this King.
They wont drive nails in his hands or in his feet.
They'll proclaim that in the highest he's the Lord of everything!
They will NEVER crucify him again!
VERSE 2 From the North, the South, the East, and West all nations will gather in
For God will trade his blood stand rugged cross for a royal diadem!
    CHORUS

Does ANYONE know when and why Amy Lambert died?? I cannot find anything at all online which is REALLY strange. We can usually find anything at all online. Articles about Amy do not state this information. It's as if any information is being withheld purposefully. WHY?

What's up with that handshake between Tim and Tony? I hope that's not a Masonic handshake! Other than that, it's a great song.

Ronald Shank I took it that they were in agreement with the words of the song.

@@susaningram8244 Hmm... could be. However, I've seen the way that Freemasons shake hands, and there appears to be more than one type of handshake that they use. I hope that it's not a Masonic handshake that they're using. Only God truly knows.

@@ronaldshank7589 You know NOTHING of which you speak of!!!!! Some of the finest men I've ever known in my life were Masons, including my 98 yr. old Father!!!! Men that sang in my Mother's "very popular" Gospel group in Michigan were Masons, and they were also looked upon as being fine men and upstanding Christians! The "only" way you will know anything about the Masonic Lodge is to become a Mason.....not reading about it! And "no", there isn't more than 1 type of handshake! Don't speak of things you know absolutely nothing about!!!!
