- This documentary explains the harsh reality of homelessness on the streets of Skid Row, Los Angeles, Ca 2023. Skid Row was created by intentional urban design. The decision was made to place most all of the city's homeless services in that one area. The theory was that by having all of the resources in one location that it would contain Los Angeles' homeless crisis.
Skid Row is a neighborhood in downtown Los Angeles that is often described by some as reminiscent of a zombie apocalypse, the seediest place in America. It's generally accepted as a lawless tent city, a den of druggies, addicts, and people suffering mental health emergencies. It's located just east of Downtown Los Angeles, Also known as Central City East.

What a beautiful person you are. The way you talk to the people you meet on your way shows that you really see them. Often we ignore people in need.
Being from Denmark, I have never seen anything like this. It is so sad and tragic to see people left with their own problems - instead of us as a society collectively lifting
PS; yes, we also have problems with homelessness, drugs, mental illness, addiction, abuse, etc. in Denmark - but not to such an extent as seen here. And we don't leave people behind
This is sad dude, all those people left behind, bad decitions or not, thats really sad to watch. People think in the great United States as a first world class country, but then you see this and man blows your mind. Hope that your people find the solution to this problem.
Well actually they show this all the time till we are sick of it..But, then maybe someone will get them the help they need.
All I see is a bunch of drug addicts allowed to live this way and not be held accountable for their personal choices if you don't give up the dope you will stay out there till you do I was until I changed and got God rehab and live a sober life you ain't showing me nothing I ain't lived I just hate when people blame everyone but their own choices
