This is perfect! We have a huge kumquat tree and never known what to do with all the fruit. I've already started a 2 gallons of kumquat wine and needed something to use more of the kumquats. I didnt have honey or lime so I used lemon and brown sugar then added some clove. Yes way different but I thank you for showing me the process. Taste great as a tea!
Every year, I harvest more kumquats I know what to do with from my kumquat trees. I always feel bad because a lot of them end up going to waste. This was a great video, now I know what to do with them.
I love all of your tea recipes and this one is another win.
I get a lot of kumquats in February from a friend who has a tree . I tried this recipe and its wonderful! Thank you!
I'm obsessed with kumquats! I tend to pop them in my mouth like candy 😊Thanks for the video. Now I gotta find fresh ones and make this!
Trader Joe's usually gets kumquats in during the spring/early summer here on the East Coast, my favorites, I will have to make this to savor. Thank you.
Just made it! So good and easy
looks awesome....i used to eat kumquats straight off the tree in my grandparents backyard when i was a kid.....we had a tree house built in the kumquat tree...me and my cousins would hide in it and eat kumquats for hours....lol
I love this so much! I've never tried this before but it looks good! Thumbs up!
this looks amazing! Thanks for sharing, I definitely want to make this when I find kumquats :)
I made this today and its simple and really good!

Thank you for posting this recipe, this is perfect! Now I'll just have to find some appropriate green tea to pair with the concentrate :)

your videos are so relaxing to watch just sit back with a cup of tea and enjoy Angel Wong's Kitchen
I love my some kumquat tea. what a great idea. it seems like anytime I buy them from the store I never finish it and I think that's so wasteful, this way I can make a good amount and not waste.
Seriously, the drink looks delicious
Love it, thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏🙏

It's also a great medicine for coughing..
Just made this following your recipe yesterday. I got the quantities of sugar n honey wrong. But it still taste good.
I had added more lime that's why it tasted a little bitter. I learn a few lesson ;p. Tq for your simple recipes.
I really wt to try this now :)
Just got back from the kumquat festival!!

Great video, you should start a series tea diys. How do you sterilize the jar?
+Ernesto after washing the jar with soap and water, boil the glass in water for a minute or so to kill any germs.
Can I use the lemon slices instead of Limes
Interesting! I actually have a kumquat tree in my front yard! Haha.
Can i use honey only? Thanks
thanks so much for posting this! i wanted to know how long does the fruit jam last in the fridge?
+Pamela Young If you make sure to sterilize the glass container, you should be good for a few months. Truthfully though, unless you make a huge batch, you'll probably run out before then. ; )
Looks awesome!! Can you sub regular limes for key lime?
+Julie Sherman I prefer key limes better, but yes, limes would also work too. :)
😋😋😋😋
Have you try combining kamquat and lemon?
Can I make the same with calamansi ???
How long can this be stored for in the fridge???
i think i would eat the concentrate on a sandwich with peanut butter or on a cheescake! :P hehe
+bri bart Lol. I can't say that I've done that before, but go for it! :D
Wow! I like it, greetings from Mexico. Where are you from? :D
Hi Angel, Beside your beautiful video, you look quite beautiful too! I will try your recipe.
Yum! Can't wait to try this :) #snapchatfruittea

This looks delicious. Can kiwi be used to change up from key lime?
+MoNeika Nunn kiwi sounds like it would taste good in this recipe. If you do try it, let us know how it turned out. :D
+Angel Wong's Kitchen The kiwi was delicious. Very brisk. Full of flavor. Yummy. I love both recipes. Thank you for inspiration and sharing. : )
I'm curious to know whether you eat the pulp when you get to the bottom or throw it away?
I don't eat mine (personal preference).
#snapchatfruittea yay!
I have a lemon and a kumquat tree. Therefore I have access to kumquats all the time. Instead of making a concentrate would i just steep the lime and kumquats in hot water then sweeten?
+imthe victorr so lucky to have a kumquat tree :D Yes, steep the fruit and add cane sugar and honey. For more flavor, you can boil everything for a few minutes.
tried it note to ppl if no lime or honey just kumquat and brown sugar go boil stir UNTIL 220f thats what i did lol :) edit: it was pretty good havent tried it looks good 9.9/10
I tried it , but the mixture just stood watery , and after keeping it at a low heat for the 10 minutes, the bitterness from the limes seeped in the mixture, making it somewhat bitter with the sweet . I used organic honey, and organic cane sugar . I’m not sure what went wrong ? :(
If the rind is there, the tea will be bitter. Most people still add the rind, idk why
Cheez Its, Same thing for me ):
apple tre please
The kumquats in vietnam are green and sour. Should I follow the same recipe?
Or should I leave out the lime
ingredients meka approx 1 jar
i liek dat
It's funny my made this since I was a kid. Somehow I notice the food of my parents days are being like by the younger generation nowadays....or have we started acquiring our parents tastebuds lol.
#snapchatfruittea 😊
I have a kumquat tree....now I know what else to do with the fruit
#snapchatfruittea
Aw I thought it was going to be cold for some reason.
you could always make the tea then add ice cubes! :P
Don’t need lime if you don’t have it
Angel, I would prefer this recipe just lime juice & zest not use sliced lime because it's bitter due to rinds.
Oh well made a bunch and not to my liking following your recipe to the teeth.
So I noticed you don't have a ring on your finger... 😊
