    This is perfect! We have a huge kumquat tree and never known what to do with all the fruit. I've already started a 2 gallons of kumquat wine and needed something to use more of the kumquats. I didnt have honey or lime so I used lemon and brown sugar then added some clove. Yes way different but I thank you for showing me the process. Taste great as a tea!

    Every year, I harvest more kumquats I know what to do with from my kumquat trees. I always feel bad because a lot of them end up going to waste. This was a great video, now I know what to do with them.

    Just made this following your recipe yesterday. I got the quantities of sugar n honey wrong. But it still taste good.
    I had added more lime that's why it tasted a little bitter. I learn a few lesson ;p. Tq for your simple recipes.

    I have a lemon and a kumquat tree. Therefore I have access to kumquats all the time. Instead of making a concentrate would i just steep the lime and kumquats in hot water then sweeten?

    • @angelwongskitchen
      @angelwongskitchen  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +imthe victorr so lucky to have a kumquat tree :D Yes, steep the fruit and add cane sugar and honey. For more flavor, you can boil everything for a few minutes.

    tried it note to ppl if no lime or honey just kumquat and brown sugar go boil stir UNTIL 220f thats what i did lol :) edit: it was pretty good havent tried it looks good 9.9/10

  • @cheezits9562
    @cheezits9562 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I tried it , but the mixture just stood watery , and after keeping it at a low heat for the 10 minutes, the bitterness from the limes seeped in the mixture, making it somewhat bitter with the sweet . I used organic honey, and organic cane sugar . I’m not sure what went wrong ? :(
