      Let me get this straight... To gain full control over the RGB potantion of the HD120 fans.. You have to use BOTH the commander pro, and the Hub that came with the RGB fans?? then what is the point of the commander pro!? why not buy the Lighting node hub instead? that is way cheaper?
      i JUST ordered 4 LED strips and the commander pro, in hopes of getting rid of the small fan hub (i have same setup as you, 460x case, 6 HD120 fans, 4 strips) so i really hope for an answer here, even if it's a longshot. =)

      Hello, please tell me, this is the case of crystal 460x rgb and RAM vengeance rgb and how did you manage to put high memory stakes? I saw other reviews of this case and there such high memory slats did not clog, interfered with the cooling radiator?

    i have the same case and kinda the same set up. with the commander pro what i did is remove the SSD bracket and mounted the pro back there. i only have 1 SSD and one storage hard drive so its no biggie for me. cable management was a bitch to do because of all the damn cables but the final product is well worth it

    At 11:45 next to the middle fan looks to be an RGB controller that is unnecessary. I think it came with the original SP120’s you replaced. You should see if the Commander Pro will fit there if you remove that controller.

  • @visser1302

    Correct me if i´m wrong, because i'm a little confused. So the corsair commander pro allows you to adjust fan speed? And for the rgb lighting effects you need the corsair rgb fan hub? If you add some rgb lighting strips you have to use corsair lighting node pro? And to combine them all you need corsair commander pro, corsair rgb fan hub and corsair lighting pro? I mean you can combine these 3 things? Sorry for some bad Englisch, thnx!

    The commander pro already has 2 slots for the LED strips, so it makes the Lighting node pro obsolete.
    It is a lightning node pro and fan hub combined into one device.

    • @ImNobblez
      @ImNobblez 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brian J. From what I understand, the 6 fan ports on the Commander Pro don’t have RGB functionality, they are for controlling fan speeds etc... of the 2 LED ports on the Commander Pro you have to stick all the fans into 1 using a 6-fan hub, and the combined LED strips go into the other. I’m not 100% sure, I’m building my PC next week and trying to understand this bullshit

      you first plug the Commander pro onto the USB 2.0 Header. then plug the 3 pin or 4 pin onto the commander pro. on the pro, you are left with 2 extra USB 2.0 headers, you use those ports for the AIO.
      for RGB strips, just by extensions, the pros has an inbuilt lighting node pro, this is what controls not only the RGB, but also the fan speed

      Jack Williams Yes that will work. That's exactly what I have. The HD and SP fans have to be on different controllers though. Plug the HD fans into ports 1-3 on the hub that comes with in the box, then plug the SP fans into ports 1-3 on the hub that came with the case. Now unplug the hub from the controller that it's connected to out of the box and plug it into one of the 2 "LED" ports on the commander pro. Plug the HD hub into the other "LED" port on the commander pro and you're set. You'll no longer be able to control the fan lights from the case, but Link will control everything. Enjoy!

      Commander pro is an All in one controller, controls pretty much everything from LED to fans
      Node Pro only controls LEDS

    I was wondering - I have 3xLL120, 3xLL140 and 4 Corsiar LED Strips. All I have is one Lightning Node Pro, One RGB Controller and a Corsair Commander Pro.
    Do I need anything else?
    Will I need a fanhub?

    I have 9 fans that I need to control can 1 commander pro be plugged into another to allow continuity and allow the 9 fan installation?

    • @WeDoTech
      @WeDoTech  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can but to a point, they cant connect to each other. But because they use the USB header on your motherboard you can connect another. Like I have the commander pro for my 6 fans + 4 Led strip and then I also have just the normal Node Pro for an addition 2 LED strips. The only problem you are going to have is that the software is limited to 6 lighting units per device. So you wont be able to sync all 9 fans on 1 go. You will need to set the effect per commander pro which might add a bit of a delay between each.
