We went in June 1st week when the monsoons had not yet set in. I believe the leeches come out in peak monsoons and stay till the ground is moist and marshy. Yes it is safe to carry! No problem, however keep a good camera bag to store it in case of rains or splashes from water or any such damages. Keep rain cover as well so you can safely store it anytime.
Hi Safe for kids above 7-8 years we will say. The jeep ride is safe enough, the trek of 2Km or so is a simple hike but can be exhausting for kids sometimes. The water can be deep in places in the pool so don’t venture in with the kids and some rocks near water are slippery. Otherwise no problems. Nothing too steep or risky or hazardous

Not 100% sure. But reach Hebbe falls before 3 PM as last jeep leaves at 3 PM and you won’t be able to reach back if you don’t arrive at 3. Mostly the 1st jeep in morning goes at 9am. For Jhari Falls, try to have a similar timing. However they open early and you can go till 4 PM mostly: But not 100% sure. Please not
