Great video and the fact that you were able to see the leopeard without being in a vehicle where people seem to develop extreme talkativeness when an animal comes by, is a true blessing. Thanks for sharing the great clips.
Excellent narration. Brings back the fond memories of my stay in Feb 2024. Though I wasnt fortunate to get the resident leopard sighting, it was an exciting evening when the forest rest house called us out of our rooms and we folowed him with our flash lights . We could only get a fleeting glimpse of the leopard's glowing eys very close to us before it dis appeared.
Not sure if many people think same way but i find it very exciting to spot wild animals in a non safari type trip. U got so much adventures in just the stay is amazing. Plus ur lucky u hav a friend who is in sync for such adventures😂
Nice vlog, waiting for the second part. I have stayed in Corbett Dhikala FRH (& some others) on multiple occasions & consider it #1 experience in Indian wildlife domain. But Bandipur FRH also seems to be quite good in terms of wildlife proximity
I stayed in harini in 2022, 2023 2 nights and 3 days, 4 days saw the leopard on all 4 occasions and one day early morning with a kill infront of room gajendra and with a cub next year a memorable experience 👌🏽👌🏽😍😍
@@infocus_media - animals don't treat us the way we treat them when a leopard or an a elephant enters the city 🤷🏾♂️ have you ever seen elephants throwing stone at safari bus or gathering In large numbers just to scare us away?? 😊 Forest has one rule keep safe distance you mind your business and animals will mind theirs 🤷🏾♂️😎
Nice vlog SR.Good Sightings.Lovely surroundings.Sir EP Gee,Well known British Naturalist is to stay in this cottage during early 60’s.These cottages needs better maintenance from KFD.👍👍
Awesome Shreyas! Another good one from Harini Cottage. It's a kind of eerie though adventurous not only in the night but otherwise also. Was wondering how safe it is inside your cottage specially when one of the windows centre one is broken or is it opened not sure. Please stay safe while it is adventurous ❤😊
I love how you film this place , next time just put ur camera there for two hour or so we can feel like we are sitting and watching it too thank u for such a lovely experience. God bless u.
Nice one sir , not sure what’s there in Bandipur , Mudumalai / Nilgiris which draws me towards it , every time I have some time I choose Bandipur / Mudumulai , even my wife is fed up , my kid too but some places are just too close to your heart ..
Hi Sir Is that on the 12th of October 2024? Just wanted to know that on mangala road we were there around 4:30 beside that safari jeep. Thanks Sreenath
Also request you to let us know how to book that government cottages. As I tried so many times to book it online each time it was full. Just requesting. Thanks
Online booking should be done, please check out the link in description..... But if you directly go and check and if there are any cottages available, they will give you a cottage....
The place is void of trees, the beauty of cottage can be enhanced just by planting appropriate tree saplings, while forest officials are slaves to VIP culture, common tourists can indulge in their part of service towards nature. We live in Vietnam and while visiting India, do give something back to nature especially during eco tourism.
excellent video; you were blessed being there during the flowering of the bush 'covered' in butterflies; wonderful photography. does any viewer have the binomial names of the butterfly and the plant species? is it a legume? thanks much for any heads-up.
It is 2024 now. We should not accept any shoddy treatment from tax payer funded organisations. They have to improve their services, no excuses or exceptions.
🐅🐯👍Most of the times I watch my favorite videos from places I don't logon to any account. I therefore comment only a few safe times I'm comfortable, though I watch all yours. Towards the end you comment that langurs feel safe for the night on trees. If you find time, ask forest guards some questions. If there are bears, do they climb trees in search of fruits, bird eggs, etc.? Bears have better night vision than langurs, and difficult customers. Same with leopards, but looking for langurs themselves. Kenneth mentions instances of tigers and leopards springing on to the lowest forks of tree full of monkeys / langurs who instead of staying safe where they are, panic and leap in random directions, including unsafe ones, whichever makes the mistake of falling down ends up as a meal.
Thanks Sir, leopards do climb the nilgiri trees sometime to get the langurs as well...but I don't think bears climb those Nilgiri trees....but am sure they will climb other trees if they sense food....
Great video and the fact that you were able to see the leopeard without being in a vehicle where people seem to develop extreme talkativeness when an animal comes by, is a true blessing. Thanks for sharing the great clips.
Glad you enjoyed it!🙂🙏
