Thank you for this video dude! I was wondering how all this worked and what all the terminology meant - nicely explained - I feel well informed now. Hope you’re keeping well buddy. :)
@@Nu-trix Thank you. So you can't export a bank of presets from Zenology Pro to Zenbeats like you can to the MC-101? You have to save the presets in a song in Zenbeats on the Mac and export the song?
I'm hoping Roland would release Zenology outside the zenbeats ecosystem similar to the the desktop counterpart that would mean I'll be able to use within AUM/CUBASE/GARAGEBAND
When the ipad gets a Roland 106 ,101 from Roland I'm sold at the moment I shall just plod on in NanoStudio and use external apps ,That said if I used a pc to make music this software would be a no brainier for all the other greatness it has.Switching between computer and iPad flawlessly is the future indeed, still not sure of subscriptions though I prefer to buy something outright but that's just me
ZenBeats is free. Then you can pay a fee to unlock the complete features. If you subscribe to Roland Cloud Pro or Ultimate you will get also ZenBeats Ultimate . It includes all the banks or patches and all the features.
Zenbeats is free, then there is a pro fee or an ultimate fee.... I got the ultimate so every new pack I get for free.... the Roland virtual instruments are something totally different that’s a subscription
Man, so complicated. So there is a pro version after all that? So Roland is always holding back on something. I guess that's business. I am a serum and falcon fan. There is no end to synth technology. Always another way to modulate etc etc. This Zen stuff is a massive marketing move by Roland. Brilliant.
I respect Roland's history and pedigree but they came out a little late to the game in iOS and then came out swinging with micro transactions and subscriptions as if their sound hasn't already been replicated to death by other developers. It's a clear nostalgia money grab I would respect more if they decreased that money grab by at least 50%
@@minusyou1 I'm good with that actually , they keep updating and supporting all their instruments and zenbeats , so I feel my money is used to put actual care in the ecosystem
@@afmfintech Actually, you get in in Core for only $2.99 per month or $29 for a year which is pretty good value against the old desktop unlock price of $149
@@MrBC1959 Even better! I have Pro, so I didn't know what came with Core. I do believe if you want Zenology Pro on desktop, you do need Pro, but if you just want to play presets, then Core is fine.
It is not only about Roland, they need integration with the whole ios ecosystem. And the PC app is inconvenient with mouse. I have touchscreen Windows 10, but that also felt like a meh. Mainly because of drum sequencing. Roland sound is great, but the workflow is a lot behind lets say MPC. And you know that Zenbeats is rebranded app by someone else who is now being owned by Roland, right? Lets not forget that.

Thanks Jamie, happy this could be helpful. Stay safe man!
Nice cans. Enjoying Zenbeats
What DAW are you using on the computer?
Thank you for a great video!
I’m using Roland ZenBeats on my iPad and on my MAC.

How about supernatural engine? iOS is waiting on realistic articulations and keyswitching...especially for clean electric guitar sounds.

Your becoming Nu-Trix the Roland guy.
I always was a Roland fan!

Zenbeats isn’t a subscription
What the 3 tiers for pc? Are you sure about that

Thanks for clearing that up it's all the different levels wasn't clear it's zen ,zenology ,zenbeats and all that Zen
Having exported to the ipad...can you play (live) the zc1 sound via the ipad? Still a bit lost!
You can play thx ZC1 on the iPad, but you do not have access to sound design controls.
Which ZenCore sounds from the hardware devices are not in Zenbeats?
I think the question is as opposite. How zenology pro edited sounds can be integrated into mobile or hardware?
Is there any sound quality difference between the iOS version and the computer version?
Same code.
@@Nu-trix same code meaning they sound exactly the same right?
Only audio interface should make a difference.
@@Nu-trix thank you 🙏 for responding back
I do you need to have a months subscription or you can buy this out right ?
You don't need the membership. You can get the lifetime key for 229U$
Nu-Trix The Synth Guy thank you
Is it possible to open a MC-101 project in Zenbeat?
I don’t think so. There is no info about project compatibility.

Actually, you get it with Pro ($9.99). You don’t need Ultimate.
Pro also unlocks all the IAPs.

I enjoy developing ideas on mobile , and extend details on PC.
