  • Raymond Washington [Mini Doc] Raymond Washington was just 16 years old when he created what has now become one of the largest street gangs in the world. As the founder of the Crips he planned to create multiple South Central LA, Watts and Compton Crip gangs that would be united protecting their neighborhoods from outside threats. But things did not go as he had planned and the Crip gangs that Raymond Washington originally started eventually took on a life of their own.

History is important and I pay honor to Mr. Raymond Washington for caring enough to start a group to help his community. RIP Raymond Washington. I wonder if all Crips know this important part of history.

I was there during the early to mid 70's Cripping (1971-1975) and hung with many CRIP sets other than mine (Hoovers 9-2, 9-4, 7-4, Kitchens, Castles, 102's, and others. . I was an East Side Avalon 5-Tray Crip (now called Gangster Crips) and I joined the U.S. Army in April 1974.

There's no real peace without God no everlasting power without Yahweh. Its why the world is corrupt. They should've been called crips for christ or something...
