  • Rene "Boxer" Enriquez [Mini Doc] Rene Enriquez rose to become one of the highest ranking members in California's Mexican Mafia. He spent over 20 years of his life as a gang leader for the organization that's also known as La Eme and he had a reputation as being one of the Mexican Mafia's most ruthless and feared members. But after decades of living as a violent mafia gangster Rene Enriquez decided he was done... and just like that he became a person that most mafia organizations consider to be the lowest of the low, he became an FBI Informant.

That said , I'm in my mid 50s with an honest job and with no regrets and if I had to do it all over again i would have made the same decision no questions asked ..Its not worth guys because the only Family you need in this life is the one you were born into ! What a tough life he chose to live. No question about it, the gang life is difficult. Gangs on the surface appear to provide family structure for these kids that for whatever reason(s) they can't or didn't find at home. However, once in the gang it's the same environment. You put in work or else. You are always watching out for your down line and your upline. There is absolutely no way to achieve harmony with so many different backgrounds, personalities and mindsets. So in place of harmony fear is utilized to keep the gang as cohesive as possible. I only feel sadness for all those countless lives lost over the years? And for what ?

I say if you get into the gangs early in life but get out and go straight that’s okay but if you stay in the gangs till your in your late 30s you have to deal with what you get from them.

As men we will always pay for our sins, no way around that.... that includes all sins committed at any age... that's the rule. You mess up you will pay for it for with your life for the rest of your life.

Everyone has their own opinion and I respect that, people call him “snitch” or other negative names, but this dude is nothing to play with and 99% of individual walking this planet and speaking those negative things about him, couldn’t hold his jock strap, when it comes to violence (gangsta shit) and his intelligence. He may have changed his ways, but he is not to be played with.

Are used to have to go down there a lot, Cerritos south gate Compton Gardena it’s outside my comfort zone anything south Venice Blvd, North of Burbank and East of Elysian is our of my comfort zone. I’m in downtown Cat, been like that since I was born at East general aka the twilight zone. I can’t ever leave the city.
