Distiller's Blend (formerly known as Reserve Blend) is a hidden gem....love this scent. Even after many hours you can still catch subtle whiffs of it. The dry down smells amazing.
This is my second Cremo shave cream and after shave balm . I am not sure I use it right . I use pucks or Poraso typically. I like the sent ok but it doesn’t shave well for me and I use a DE wet shave or a straight razor . The sents don’t last too long but sometimes I prefer a short lasting sent .
Cremo shave creams are no good. Better off buying Taylor of old bond street or D.R. Harris creams. Cremo have awesome body wash, soaps, and the beard cream
Good review n spot on about the longevity. Ya gotta keep it handy and repeat after about 3 hours. It's so cheap that you can spray liberally... Such a great scent as most cremo. Vintage suede is great too
I have been using Cremo's Distillers Blend for about 2 years now. I have the whole line minus the beard oil. Of all the scents Cremo and non Cremo, Distillers Blend is my ultimate favorite. I have only smelled Aventus twice in a 5 year span, honestly I don't smell a resemblance between Aventus and Distillers Blend. From what I remember Aventus was more fruity and peppery. DB is heavy on the vetiver and has a more sweet spice to it. Honestly I like DB better than Aventus, I just wish it had more projection and staying power. I notice it falls off after an hour and a half. But at $20 I can justify using more throughout the day to keep the scent on. Great video!
That depends on the scent itself. Some great cheapie fragrances require a lot more sprays and reapplication. The better ones may just require two or three sprays.
@@PRScents I know that. How many sprays does this one take? Because i am thinking it takes at least 15 sprays because its an EDT in name only, and really a body spray.
I have about 5 diff Cremo bottles.. Just because its EDT doesn't mean it doesn't project. There are some EDT brands that are better than EDP. But, I normally spray 3-5 times most of the time 1 time for the whole day. Also to make the any cologne last I lot depends on how you use it, if you are using citrus cologne in the winter or winter cologne in the spring/summer chances are the scent is not going to last very long. If you want to expand your projection, I suggest unscented moisturizer on the skin after shower then spray on pulse points, another would be to complement the cologne ( if you put on bourbon vanilla cologne, get bourbon vanilla body wash, bourbon vanilla deodorant- this will help expand the scent) Lastly, one the best from what I hear is to expand the scent with ISO E or Ambroxan. Supposedly you spray where you want the cologne to go then you spray ISO E it will help it last ALL DAY. I haven't tried it but many reviews I read and videos swear by it. Can anyone comment or have any experience?
This one reminds me a lot of Floris no. 89 in the opening. I get that aventus DNA too in the dry down, more citrus than fruit, but I definitely see what you're saying.
Definitely not aventus they already make an aventus clone which is the grapefruit and musk this one is vetiver heavy and has been compared to grey vetiver on other review
As of today Walgreens has buy one get another half off. If you have a Walgreens reward card. It's free and not a credit card. Spice and black vanilla has been reformulated and is crap in performance now. Like a hour on clothes. The new one is clear instead of Amber colored. I don't get the Creed Aventus from it. Cremo Bergamot and Musk is a Aventus clone just more fruity and less smokey
If you can get your hands on the citrus and mint from Cremo that's a really nice smelling one too. Just had this one and the Distillers Blend, aka Reserve Blend arrive in the mail today. I'm really feeling the Distillers Blend especially on the dry down. Really going to have to try this one out full time when i go hang out with the guys this weekend. But the Citrus and Mint is a nice seeming one also. But I'm trying to dry the comparison to something else I've smelled. Maybe if you get your hands on this one and do a review maybe you can tell me if it smells like a similar scent. Purchased both my recent Cremo purchases on Amazon for $16.99 each

Couldn't agree more!

You are the leader in hidden gems. This is a good performing juice. Very refined and chill 😎

Love it

How many sprays to get decent projection but not overpower and come off try hard?

@@JesusChrist5000 sorry, I thought you meant in general. On the Cremos I usually spray 6-8 sprays then just reapply every so often.
