actually an impressive number of people were getting on at Whiteman Park and Ellenbrook. Not sure if they will be regular riders or just first day rubber-neckers
@@desktopexpert4465 Sure, but the entire line is only forecast to have 18k riders per day by 2031. Based on the overall cost of $1.6B, Bayswater is a lower spend per pax than the entire line.
that section to Bayswater has 3 different lines running over it and all trains stop at all station. I would have thought the Airport line could skip Mt Lawley and Meltham
I thought it was quite balanced spending a billion dollars on a low priority corridor is obviously a very poor use of limited PT funding. I was however very positive about the design, facilities, speed and redevelopment opportunities
Given that most people got off the train, it could be argued that the station was the best use of money in the entire Ellenbrook Line project
this was on the way out at 630 am. Bayswater station 400million is what id spend on a station that had 50k users not 5k ish

Skip em just to sit behind the train in front lol
I too would have thought that Morley and Noranda would have been the busiest
Is it me or are there no escalators at any of these new stations ?
Your video is pretty damn negative for no real reason

Yes extremely negative
@@RichardGodber-p1s He considers a highway median to be low value........that is actually the perfect place to build rail. This guy aint no expert
@@avgfree21 me thinks he is an LNP voter and against trains for “the masses “
@@RichardGodber-p1s ah yes, but he's probably got a medicare card though and uses public services... true "believer"
@@avgfree21 I agree. I think this line is a great achievement.
Yay
Looks so bland in those stations. Not a fan of Russia but you need to see their stations for comparison.
I look to japan no frills railways that work and don't cost 1 billion dollars to bring 5k of new riders onto the system
