Thank you very much creating the video. It's absolutely stunning! You have covered everything that travelling families with young children need to know, which I find extremely helpful. The information you provided about Tazy roads is particularly useful.

Great video. Good to see our little island though someone else’s eyes.
BCF do gas bottle refills but obviously they’re not everywhere here.

Tassie has bulk “free” overnight spots. A lot of the country pubs welcome RV’s here, and only ask that you have a beer and a feed to help them out. The West Coast of Tassie should be avoided between April and November; it’s just too cold and wet.
The North East and East Coast generally is a campers Mecca. Anacondas still do gas refills.

Very informative vid. Looking forward to seeing you in SA. As I live in SA hope to see you dig up some places we have just driven past as you do in your own patch. Looking forward to it. Thanks Peter

How long is a piece of string? As long as you can manage, we stayed 3 months and would of happily stayed longer.

Think you may need some local knowledge...no dirt main roads.....dirt back roads, dirt secondary roads...
Sloop rock, down on the bay of fires, one of the best in that area.
Did you go to the convict centre on the OTHER side of the peninsula...the old coal mine...worse than the main settlement
Did you do the walk/climb up Mt Murchison? as good, if not better than cradle mountain.
Montezuma falls on the west coast outshines Russel falls as the most spectacular waterfall

Note, need a fishing licence to fish for trout on inland waterways. Get one online from service Tasmania before you arrive 😊

Why don’t you use swap and go makes life easy ?

    • @SvedosTrippin

Our van just came with gas bottles we own, and refilling them is cheaper than swap and go.
