Agreed. Give members a choice of plans. Yes it’s our fault we overeat, but the algorithm for each plan since pro points has got more and more punitive.
I don't have alot of opinion about her persay. However, they really need a revamp and get back to customer service. I feel like members are constantly losing so much. Wins, charms, meetings, website and app things removed. It is just a shame because they have an opportunity to rule the weight loss field with just a few changes.
Hey, I really like your what ca call it. But I agree that that meetings are a lot better than what we have now. I am not good on the app and it is very frustrating for me. And it was fun to see everybody. After I made lifetime, I even worked as a weigher. I can't remember why I stopped. I think it was a job change. I did gain a little because I never understood maintenance . I am very glad to see they have a points program for it now. I was just told to add back a little at a time. I actually stayed on the plan and lost another 15 lbs. by then I knew I had to add a few more points but I had no idea how much. But I did keep it all off for 2 years. Then I guess I got cocky. Which me luck on loosing 14 lbs - again.
Thank you! Well said. I also am a little hopeful that WW will get start valuing its long time members who know the in person meetings are necessary for their success. I felt betrayed by the repudiation of the core beliefs of WW and angry about the closing of many meetings and firing of excellent staff. I wish they would offer a new program to spark interest and remind people that lifetime weight loss is possible without medication. Many members are living proof of that.
I totally agree with what you are saying. The apology and partnership with Oprah was WW biggest mistake not to mention the purchase of the clinic. I am extremely happy she left for whatever the reason
They closed meetings, got rid of leaders and the present program doesn't give much direction. It wasn't until I tweaked the program that I started losing again. Limit carbs, fruit and beef. No such thing as zero points.
Weighr Watchers As it Was WORKED. I'm Sure JEAN NIEDECH The Founder Many Years Ago. Medication??? Eat Healthy, Exercise And You Are So Right Control Our Portion Sizes. I Too Became A Life Time Member. I've Kept Off 90 Percent Of That Weight. I Did Gain Back Some but I'm still Happy For What Ive Kept Off. Im Still Working On Trying To Lose The Extra And Im Trying. Slow But Sure WE WILL GET THERE. And Yes, The IN-PERSON MEETINGS Are What Makes All The Difference With Weight Watchers Or What Weight Watchers Used To BE. Its A LIFE STYLE CHANGE. NOT A DIET. Thanks Dee For The Information. BRING BACK WEIGHT WATCHERS Like it USED TO BE. Have A Blessed Day. 👍👍👍🍁🍁🍁🍁🙏🙏👍
When a new leader comes in as interim, it usually means the former leader’s departure was not “planned.” She either quit w/o notice or was asked to leave.
I still miss my 1:1 coach and my in person WW group. Virtual meetings are not the same but I’m old and like in person communication with that live personal interaction rather than the impersonal virtual meetings.
Loved the meetings and recipe sharing and support. I hope they get back to basics. You would Be a great addition to the Board. I have not done WW since they did away with meetings in my area
Thanks for doing this video of I hope good news. I agree, the in person meetings are the way to go! Also, getting leaders that really go beyond by giving the members the mental strength to be determined in the weight loss journey/ lifestyle. Those drugs that now are found on WW are not the healthy way to loose weight. Thanks, and keep us informed.
Dee, I totally agree that at least some board members should have done the program and lost weight and truly understand the life long struggle. We just doesn't get it. Today I received a survey from them about seeing a nutritionist. I think many members could use some mental health help tied to eating like emotional and binge eating.
We are so lucky to still have 3 Saturday morning meetings here and a few throughout the week. As far as I know, still no evening meeting which I think is a shame. Good luck to everyone!
I am hopeful WW might move back to the sensible programs with meetings for those who can do those and back to online tracking. The phone thing doesn't work well for me. And I'd love to see Dee or someone like her who "lives it" to be on the board. I think the prescription thing was a mistake - something each of us should do individually with our own PCP.
We had 4 and at times 5 meetings in a 50 mile radius. Since March 2020 we lost all of those and my nearest is 90+ one way. I cannot do that even once a month. I had done so well with in person meetings. I never connected in zoom meetings.
I would love to see them open more work shops for others. Wondering if they are going to change the program. I would like to see them do this shake it up a little. Maybe it would help me be more focused again.
I wish they would bring back the weight loss acknowledgment metals to online members. I was told to go to a workshop to get one. The closest workshop is 30 miles away.
Wow I’m surprised to hear this news. I haven’t been on Weight Watchers for several years as I’ve been doing healthy and I’ve been at goal for two years. However, I am slipping the last several months back into my old eating habits. I said I’d never go back to Weight Watchers once she took over because I just didn’t agree with the route they were going and closing all meetings, etc. I’d love to see them open up meetings again and I would go back to try to really work on maintenance because I feel like I’m slipping doing this on my own.
She was a disaster. When they began pushing drugs I was totally dismayed. WW is supposed to be about health and losing weight in a HEALTHY way. I hope they find their way back and become great again.
I liked Sima. Though I thought I would never do medication after struggling I started glp1 in July and it’s has helped so much. Just like with weight loss surgery people say I’m not doing it on my own. I try to explain it a tool and everyone loses differently. Thanks for the update
Although I have no problem with virtual meetings, I would like to see them bring back more local in person meetings. For me I felt more accountable going there weekly and weighing in plus interacting with other members. I still wonder about many of the people who went regularly to the same meeting I attended. Guess you saw today on IG there announcement about tightening up on negative comments posted on social media. I just wonder how they plan to do that. I agree with what many have said, I have to take responsibility for how I follow the program, weighing and measuring is key to weight loss.
I'm happy that my hometown and my current city have Saturday in person meetings because when I can't go due to work, I have at least 4 times that I could go to. Mind you I can't wake up at 7am. In regards to the CEO, I felt she was doing the apology tour to get people my age, millennials, and gen Z to come to Weight Watchers. I know of 2 fat acceptance friends who are having health issues at the moment and they refuse to lose weight or do anything because they're young and even though one lost their mobility and the guy is on blood pressure and diabetes meds, they have horrible memories of coming to Weight Watchers due to their moms trying to help. I kind of felt it might people and I know with their podcast, that is helping me a bit with thinking about my mindset. But I get why people who've done it for years were also against her apology tour.
I rejoined in July with meetings. They're just not the same to me. I changed to digital only. I consider this my meeting 😊 Have to say I think the app needs some work. Seems to have taken a few steps backward. I'm lifetime since 2001 but not at goal.
I have worked for a couple different companies and they would bring in new head honchos to turn the place around and make a profit because they were doing bad with the previous managers so they would get people to invest in their company and run the company and if they didn't have a turnaround in such and such time they would be gone and new ones will come in and there was always changes every time a new person come in. Of course the new people were there to make money too so I believe sometimes after they made what they was going to make and change things around, they would be
Great video Dee, I too wonder if CEO was brought in to intentionally make things worse. I think you would make a great Board Member. Is there anywhere I can get advice? Im in limbo of cancelling as I just dont agree with the point system on how it scores things.
With Sistani stepping down from her position on the board, WeightWatchers said it would reduce the size of its board from nine to eight members. WeightWatchers previously reduced its board from 10 to nine members earlier this year - after former talk show host Oprah Winfrey stepped down. Winfrey, who had served on WeightWatchers' board since 2015, said in February that she would leave her position and donate all of her interest to the National Museum of African American History and Culture, part of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington.
Glad she is gone.... Maybe Oprah will give her a job since she was so apologetic to her on that live!! So, this is strike 2 in my book, the last CEO and this one...... Let's see if they get it right this time.......
And Dr. Nadalsky is no longer the medical director. Heads are rolling!
wow
I would love seeing in person meetings come back. Loved meetings ❤
I so agree
I agree bring back in person meetings
My daughter works theres no in person meetings at night☹️
I wish they bring back the purple, green, and blue plan.
Personal points worked 4 me 😢
So many want that
So many liked it ( its still the same algorithm for points
I miss it too the color plans
Agreed. Give members a choice of plans. Yes it’s our fault we overeat, but the algorithm for each plan since pro points has got more and more punitive.
I wish for in person meetings. It is the only way I seem to stay on track. Let’s hope this happens with new CEO.
fingers crossed
I don't have alot of opinion about her persay. However, they really need a revamp and get back to customer service. I feel like members are constantly losing so much. Wins, charms, meetings, website and app things removed.

so very true
Yes please bring back in person meetings evenings and / or weekends!!!

Good luck , you can do it
Agree
You are so right about meetings in person and the need for a weight watcher on the board.
The meetings and person to person meetings are what makes WW Work!
#truth
Girl - you are the voice of reason! And I vote for you to be on the WW board !!
Then it Will go back to normal. 😁

@@noreendriscoll-ro8zn I don’t think it’s fair to say things to limit. Though you might want to limit things that might not be what I want to do.
zero pointed foods need some accounability

Jean is rolling over in her grave
WW certainly isn’t the same as it once was!
Nope
When a new leader comes in as interim, it usually means the former leader’s departure was not “planned.” She either quit w/o notice or was asked to leave.
Ahhh very interesting
Yes you need on the board!
I sure do!
Great video I enjoyed everything you were talking about. We are responsible for what we put in our mouths. Thanks again awesome job
You are very welcome
Dee, I totally agree with every think you said. Hopefully WW would see and hear your video!
I keep shouting
You hit the nail on the head Dee. I hope WW is listening to you.
I keep shouting !
I still miss my 1:1 coach and my in person WW group. Virtual meetings are not the same but I’m old and like in person communication with that live personal interaction rather than the impersonal virtual meetings.
science proves we do better in person
Loved the meetings and recipe sharing and support. I hope they get back to basics. You would
Be a great addition to the Board. I have not done WW since they did away with meetings in my area
Thanks so much and I agree about the meetings
Medication is constantly talked about in my zoom meetings. Its frustrating.
They have never talked about it in my meetings except to tell us the first time.
Its not supeose to be unless its a GLp meeting
Thanks for doing this video of I hope good news.

I am just on the WW diabetic plan. I am not doing meds. Have lost 110 pounds and would love the old company to come back.
Great job on the loss
AMEN DEE!! Portion control is key snd for me i have learned so much about my relationship with food since February.
Yup took me a while to get there
Dee, I totally agree that at least some board members should have done the program and lost weight and truly understand the life long struggle. We just doesn't get it. Today I received a survey from them about seeing a nutritionist. I think many members could use some mental health help tied to eating like emotional and binge eating.
I got hat survey too
We are so lucky to still have 3 Saturday morning meetings here and a few throughout the week. As far as I know, still no evening meeting which I think is a shame. Good luck to everyone!
Its great that you have choices
I think the virtual meetings are so chaotic and you can't make connections with 300 people in a 30 minute zoom meeting.
Its very hard
I am happy about it. This past year, my husband and I dropped WW because they closed meeting sites and fired good WW leaders.
it so sad to hear when they fire good leader
I like what you said about taking ownership. The program does work if you’re honest. When I go off program I know it’s my fault.
Honesty is key
I am hopeful WW might move back to the sensible programs with meetings for those who can do those and back to online tracking. The phone thing doesn't work well for me. I totally agree with your comments Dee!

Yes they closed all the small town meetings trying to make you go 60 miles or more for a meeting. Laying off leaders...😢
I live in a small town of 3000 but we have 3 meetings within 15 mins. I’m surprised because I’m in Missouri.
We had 4 and at times 5 meetings in a 50 mile radius. Since March 2020 we lost all of those and my nearest is 90+ one way. I cannot do that even once a month. I had done so well with in person meetings. I never connected in zoom meetings.
very sad
Thank you for doing this video. Oh boy, I wonder what’s going to be next. I agree they need to bring back more meetings, especially on a Saturday.
Yes we need more meetings
She stepped down. She ruined ww and left. How much was her exit Bonus? They all get one!
I am sure too much
You will soon find out that many have stepped down/resigned because of certain Executive Orders
Thanks Dee.
Have a beautiful weekend ❤
If she left immediately and they're putting an interim person in place, she didn't jump, she was pushed.
they seem to have a habit of doing that
I would love to see them open more work shops for others. Wondering if they are going to change the program. I would like to see them do this shake it up a little. Maybe it would help me be more focused again.
I hope so too!
I wish they would bring back the weight loss acknowledgment metals to online members. I was told to go to a workshop to get one. The closest workshop is 30 miles away.

❤❤I would buy stock in WW if you were elected to the board!!!!!!
thanks for your support
Thank you for sharing this information Dee
You are very welcome
You’d be a great board member!

You’d be an excellent choice for the WW board! If only…
I agree if only

I think adding medication is a good way to grow. There is nothing wrong with bringing on new options and saying some people need different things.
It is a tool for you and so glad you are doing well with It .

WW meeting info is on app. Click on profile on left corner. Scroll down to discover content. That’s where it’s at
It so does not surprise me. They go thru CEOs like water. Such is the corporate world.

I wonder how this one will do ... I think we will see some changes
I feel the same way I don’t blame weight watchers it me who lost focus
Its always us !
I hope they go back to having meetings, get the products back and put the meeting topics back on the app.
we all want that
I will vote for you😃
TYVM
I wish they would bring back old plans. I'm on healthi conquer cravings. Surely theys should be able to do something like this
I agree
Need more in person meetings.
Most definitely
Great video
Thanks Rose

they do have a chat In the app where you can chat with someone or email me dishwithdee@yahoo.com and we can talk privately

Dee, Have You Ever Tried The HARVEST SNAPS in the TOMATO BASIL Flavor. They Are VERY TASTY. 😋👍👍👍🙏
Yes I love those. too
I dont think they are going to fill the empty seat. According to an ABC report, WW is reducing the size of its board front nine to eight.
I would think they need a odd number
now my ww meeting on Saturday is shrunk down to 1 meeting on Saturday morning! Not enough people were attending!!!
Yup that does happen
Hi all….
From my leader she got fired, he got it from his boss.
wow , thanks for sharing
They can not say
I am thrilled that Sima is gone. Next they need to stop partnering with Oprah
Agreed !
I hate saying this but good riddance! She just didn't get it!
You are not alone with that thought
Glad she is gone.... Maybe Oprah will give her a job since she was so apologetic to her on that live!! So, this is strike 2 in my book, the last CEO and this one...... Let's see if they get it right this time.......
Not many are upset that for sure
