I'm so sorry. I'm a dog person, but there was a special spot in my heart for Gracie Lou. It never gets any easier. They each take a piece of our heart with them when they leave and replace it with a piece of their own heart. In the end, we are left with a beautiful patchwork heart from all the animals we've loved and lost. xoxo

They lost all their food. So traveled back up to NC & stayed a week with friends as their home was rented out! So yup hits close to home.
