Welcome to our brand new podcast, Under The Cloche!!
For our first episode, we’ve invited Celeb Masterchef winner, professional opera singer, Welsh national treasure and, of course, one of the UK’s most recognisable advertising characters, Wynne Evans!!
Big thanks to Wynne for joining us! Check out Wynne: / wynneevans
In each episode we'll be chatting to the most fascinating guests from the most interesting walks of life to find out more about their unique relationship with food, so expect many delicious stories, belly laughs and pub snacks in every episode! - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
It's really lovely to have hosts who genuinely let the guests shine and don't take centre stage on camera for someone else's interview. Says a lot about the sorted crew. Always respect them for the way they come across!
I am just 10 minutes into the podcast, and I am already loving it ! As I am not from the UK, I had never heard of Wynne Evans. He seems to be a really charming person and is a great person to chat with.
Wynne is exactly that..... a fascinating conversation!
@@SortedFood😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Wynne Evans is the pride of Wales,
Look up the Go compare advert 😂 x
Had family meet him at a charity event. From their estimation he was a very rude, disrespectful man who would barely look at anyone who wasn't also famous. Looking forward to the sorted podcast but I'll skip this one
Seeing ben without his chef jacket is like seeing your teacher wear jeans on a non uniform day. Its unsettling.
I think Wynne highlights that you need to do a food tour of Wales. So much to offer and not shown off enough
Lol
PLEASE!!!
This was really, really good! Letting the guest waffle is the key to a good interview (folks are generally here for the guest, not the interviewers)!
You got the balance just right! I loath the ads, but love the guy :)
Please continue to produce these types of videos. I really like the format and am looking forward to the next one!
More to come!
Yes Please may I have some MOOOORRREEE
I've been thinking lately that my favorite thing about the channel is your friendship and listening to you all chat more than the recipes (which are great too, just preference) and this is such a great way to get to experience your great chat. Nice one, thank you!
Sorted Team!! What a week! James makes his comeback and then you drop this on a Friday- HUGE fan of you all! You always make my days better and is much appreciated!.
Wynne Evans is a total legend! Thanks for coming on the podcast and for being so open about your struggles. You're an inspiring trooper and should feel very proud!
I’m from New Zealand and had never heard of Wynne Evans; what a lovely guest! I don’t “ live to eat” but I so enjoyed listening to this man talk about food. Thank you all for this podcast.
Yay! Nice to see Welsh cuisine represented here. It’s so underrated
It really is!
not even underrated just plain not rated at all. But then for me not living with in the UK. Whales it self is not really known.
Sorted Team!! What a week! James makes his comeback and then you drop this on a Friday- I tip my imaginary hat to you all! You guys keep upping your game and it is so appreciated.
Thank you! 💛
@@SortedFood You guys are AWESOME!
@@SortedFood 💛
Under The Cloche is such a brilliant name for the podcast! Props to whoever came up with that one. Great first episode and wonderful guest!
I watch all of your guy's stuff and I have to say this is another hit. Really enjoyed the interview, the guest, the focus around food, etc... really good work team.
Thanks so much 🥺
I live jus outside of Carmarthen, so when Wayne mentions his mum and the Theatre, which is called The Lyric, I know exactly where he is talking about, I also saw parts of the movie being filmed
I absolutely loved every minute of this podcast. I also am not from the UK and am all the way on the other side of the Atlantic and had no clue who Wynne Evans was. What an exceptional, wonderful, down to earth guy. He is exactly the type of person you can go out to a pub with and sit, chat and "shoot the shit with". Actually, reminds me of Marc Hervieux, a Montréal opera singer who is the same way :)
If you need a landlord Al murray is the one to call. That could be a very fun podcast episode
Thanks so much for the suggestion!
@@SortedFoodsweet 🎉🎉🎉
Al Murray would be an incredible guest for sure!!@@SortedFood
What an absolute champion of Welsh food Wynne was - it gave me goosebumps listening. Now for a Sorted tour of Wynne's food mates!
I didn't expect to, but I watched the whole thing in one go! Really fun conversation.
I really enjoyed this interview. It was very relaxed and laid back.
Yay!! I loved listening to this at work - will definitely tune in to the next post as well!! ❤🎉
I kind of expected this to be funny and interesting but my grandma who raised me was Welsh and this unexpectedly got me. Took me right back to my childhood and visiting family. It was one of those painful in a good way things. I miss her a lot.
That was fantastic. You had such a great natural rapport with him and it did sound like a natural conversation. Wynne was a great first guest.
Having only seen Wynne Evans on adverts, I hated him for a long time. A few mins of just hearing him talk and being himself on here and I love him.
This is such a treat! Sound quality is great as well, this is going to be such a great podcast
I remember listening to the old podcast at work while I was getting things set up and ready in the morning. Its nice to see another podcast.
Loved this! I really enjoyed this and hope to see more like this to come! The balance of information and just overall conversation in this was amazing. Was able to spend my break at work pulled into this video and I will say it made this long day so much better! Can't wait to see what comes next.
What a fantastic first episode, guys! I never heard of Wynne before (sorry, I live across the pond in the US,) but he is so charismatic, humble, and down to earth.
Super excited to see who else you get on!🤙
Nailed it guys, Wynne's a natural entertainer, you'd want to have pint with him
When Wynne talked about his reason for starting his weight loss journey, the two seats breaking under him, I could just FEEL the embarrassment that would cause! I've struggled with my weight my entire life, and I've had a couple chairs break under me. T_T
I've only recently started my weight loss journey, after finally figuring out what was going on with my mental health. (Depression, anxiety, and decades long undiagnosed ADHD.) My main motivation is that I'm losing my mobility. I can only be on my feet for a few minutes before I have to sit down. I can't walk far. I'm only a couple months into my journey, and I have a long way to go.
Saying that, Sorted Food has helped me figure out ways I can incorporate healthier foods into my diet. I love you guys, and I'm absolutely loving this new Podcast format! Thank you for everything you guys do!! Love from the USA!
Best of luck! One of my best mates from school finally got an ADHD diagnosis recently after 15+ years of struggling and (somewhat unconscious) self medication, and it's made a unfathomable difference to both his physical health and mental wellbeing. I hope you have similarly positive results.
As if people hated him?!? He’s iconic, I’ve absolutely loved him from day one, seeing that advert on the TV when I was 14. Loved this podcast, absolutely amazing
This Podcast already seems like one of my favorites!! As I am not from the UK, I had never heard of Wynne Evans. He seems to be a really charming person and is a great person to chat with. Hearth please guys
Loved this, looking forward to more!
Wynne is such a great talker! I love that he subtly explains things in a way thst helps the audience who arent chefs and might not know things even when the sorted guys are nodding along. Great first podcast❤
This podcast video was brilliant! Hope you do many more 😁
this was such a joy to watch, what a fantastic interesting man! keep em coming!
Enjoyed it throughout, I'm not familiar with the guests but everything just feels like listening to a friendly chat. It's nice when the hosts just lets the guests shine.
I love how much love he has for food and the experience of looking through markets and so on. A great first episode! Hope to see many more
really Really enjoyed this!! your dynamic as friends has always been the best part of sorted, and combined with wynne and some of those stories!! i can't wait to see more of this, thank you team!
this was sooo good! Most podcasts are too structured, I love that the beginning questions lead to an organic flow of conversation. So so so good!
Brilliant 👏 👏 One of my favourite welshy brothers.Loved him on Masterchef
I look forward to seeing where this podcast goes and how it grows. Congratulations on the start of an amazing journey!
Aw he's such a sweet guy 🎉 well done guys, love the set up and the idea of a food centred podcast.
Edit: As a welsh person myself it was so lovely to see our food represented - Halen Mon Salt is made in my home town and I live near the Menai Straights were we gather world class muscles. Its also such a beautiful place 🏴
100% - beauty of a place!
We need more of these. A great choice of first guest. Love him or hate him, he's a British legend
I only found this channel a couple of months ago...I live in Arkansas, in the states, and I've been binge watching episodes every day. I love this podcast. What a bunch of legends. I have never heard of opera and food being topics in the same conversation; I Love both topics, and the combination absolutely fascinated me. Keep up the great work lads.
I'm so going to enjoy this during din-dins!💙
FINALLY! it's been a long time coming!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Omg!😍 this was great!
Great new format guys and highly entertaining. Looking forward to more of these. Thanks
I already love this podcast! So fun. I can't wait for more.❤
Fantastic Guys, thoroughly enjoyed that , what a wonderful character to interview, more of this please. p.s production values on this were excellent, well done.
this was so much nicer then i would have thought, the guest has helped a lot as he gives of good vibes
I’m obsessed with this podcast, one hour of unedited content wewwwwwww you are treating us well!! Great idea to do this boys
So excited for this
Love this podcast, one of my favourites already
I loved this!! Hope you do many more.
Absolutely loved this. So good! I would listen to this kind of thing every week. Y'all are absolutely hilarious and also touch on the parts of cooking that connect us all 💕
yipppeeeee this is so fun!!!!
This is so good. I'm so pleasantly surprised by this format. Can't wait for the next one.
I hope you guys get Ebbers parents on. I would love to hear from them how they influenced and encouraged his love of food. Love this new addition guys. Great job
🎉 #LOVE it!! that was excellent, so fun, no idea who your guest was but he definitely has a new fan ❤ I broke my ankle & leg on Good Friday, surgery, hospital just pain but I watched your videos non stop when I could and your energies lifted me. Food unites the world thank you 🫶🌏🇦🇺💞
I seldom have time to watch long videos, but it's you guys so I sacrificed some sleep, and I'm glad I did.😊😊😊 Thank you for a very entertaining 50 minutes. Your guest was so fascinating that I wouldn't have minded a longer interview. Well done guys. 😊
Another day another amazing creation by SORTED! You guys are awesome 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was listening /watching this while I was cooking in the kitchen. it is fantastic because you have the iPad there that you can see what’s going on, but at the same time it was like you are just cooking away enjoying the conversation that is going on right beside you. The way a kitchen should be the social area of the house. This was fantastic and the length was perfect. Great interview techniques too, unlike some interviewers that like to ask 10 min long questions cause they arrogantly think it’s all about them. This was brilliant. Well done. I can’t wait to see who the next guest is going to be.
I love the dolls!
What a legend..so much more than go compare. Great First podcast. Sorted just grows. Well done all.👏🏼
This was so good can’t wait for the next one
Thanks For this Guys! Today is the Birthday of the late Akira Toriyama and this has definitely lifted my spirits
I love this ❤
In 23 minutes and Wynne is very funny. He can spin a yarn.
This is fabulous!!! I love the fun, casual conversation. I’m learning so much, while laughing too! I even got my new Sorted apron today! Perfect timing!
YES A sorted podcast! I'm so ready
I didn't expect this, but I really like it!
This is beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this series! Thank you, SORTED Team, for everything that you all do everyday!
A few other absolute corkers already filmed to follow - but guest recommendations too please!
@@SortedFood IF you guys are able to get Paul Hollywood on, I think my heart would probably stop out of sheer joy. ;P
Im late to the party but this is an absolute joy! Three lovely guys chatting about food for an hour
At this point, I would say I grow up with Sorted Food 💗From awkward skinny boys on TH-cam to real men with great sense of humor hosting the most enjoyable cooking show. Helped us to go through Covid, hard time, breakups, etc...thank you
Thank you for your lovely comment! 💛
@@SortedFoodLOVE YOUR CONTENT GUYS 😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Helped us through Covid is the one!!!! Honestly I think I put in weeks if not months of watch time during that period, rewatching videos I’ve seen a thousand times…they were like a source of normality and lighthearted joy during that time for me and I’ll be forever grateful to them for that 🥹
Great podcast.👍🇨🇦🇨🇦
Through buying a house and having two babies for me ❤
This new podcast (Under The Cloche!!) was wonderful. The interview was interesting, educational, humorous and all together entertaining. Looking forward to the next installment.
Interesting chat. I enjoyed watching Wynne on Masterchef and he thoroughly deserved to win. X
What a fantastic guy ! Genuinely, I would love to sit down round a dinner table with Wynne and you guys for what would be a fantastic evening with lots of laughs. Brilliantly done by Mike and Ebbers - perfect balance of questions, but still letting Wynne just talk.
One of the most enjoyable Sorted vids ever (and I love all of your vids).
Please, please, please keep the Under the Cloche series going - if others are half as good as this one, I am hooked.
Great job guys and great choice of guest to kick this off with.
What a lovely guy! I’m so glad you had him on.
Love the podcast! I was unfamiliar with your guest, but I felt as though I knew a lot more about him by the end. Can't wait for the next one 😊
Welcome aboard!
Watching Mike realize why he doesn’t like cheese in real time was an unexpected bonus of this. 😂😂😂
Please let this series be on Spotify
Loving this format.. great job guys... I'll be your barmaid, done a few roles like that back in the day!! Can't wait for the next one 🥰
Love Wynne, love you all at Sorted, loved the podcast. Youreallawesome!
Honestly lads, this was a fookin brilliant podcast👌 Hope you enjoyed making it
Wyn should have sang "Go Compare....." to that woman 😂😂 xx
Loving this! You boys have got it going! Nice to see you in a place (NICE place!) other than the kitchen..AND with beer in hand!
if this is just the first episode of this podcast, I cant wait to see what theyre doing next, great start, great stuff
I wasn’t going to watch this as I had no idea who the guest was and I’m not into podcasts, but I am so glad I did. Hilarious and absolutely well worth the time.
Such a great podcast! the GoCompare advert is a classic! I remember being in the Lake District for the first time and saw a bunch of guys meeting up in the carpark in all different costumes. One was dressed as Wynne Evans' GoCompare character and did a fantastic impression - that's when I realised how popular the advert was. Also gave blood with Wynne Jones in Cardiff while he did it live on his radio show (I was far too nervous to ruin the show by talking to him). Then he was absolutely lovely when I got the chance to promote a local musical production on his radio show last year. Absolute top bloke and now I need to go to Chippy Alley again!
Omg I love the Coffee Shop ad
I am writing from Montreal, Canada. I had never seen it.
Thanks for the discovery
As a Welshie, I absolutely love this. We don’t celebrate our food culture at all really. Just the Welsh cakes, mostly around St David’s day. Unless I’m working in the office in Cardiff. Can’t beat Cardiff Market Welsh cakes
WE GET THE SORTED PODCAST! Finally, thank you guys for creating something that I can listen to on the go!
This was great~
Fascinating interview, you are always so entertaining and your guest was great fun. You boys MUST make some Welsh food!
Really enjoyed that. Looking forward to more.
holy crap I can't believe you guys added subtitles to a podcast episode too, thank you!
You're welcome - enjoy! 😃
@@SortedFood thanks For this Guys
I agree thanks for that x
This is Awesome, its like hanging out with your guys and a guest. Love the idea. You can reach into the "Full Story" of it.
Absolutely amazing, y'all better bring him back. Y'all work great together, and extra fun for me being a classical singer as well
i'm excited to add this pod in my weekly podcast rotation, lads!
