    200kmph will be the top design speed. But things will not change till the upgradation of tracks take place..As of now except for Delhi Agra and Kota Nagda Section, the Maximum Permissible Speed as per the current status of tracks is 130kmph. SO No, Aluminium will not translate to faster speed even with faster acceleration unless track infrastructure upgradation is done.

    currently Only mumbai to ahmadabad vande bharat runs with max speed of 160KMPH,Remaining train runs on max 130 KMPH however train is capable of running on max 180KMPH speed. So mainly focus on dedicated high speed track and signaling parallel to Aluminium train set,so that these train can run on max 200 KMPH otherwise it will also run old track with max 130 KMPH. Railway need to focus on both fields.

Even if we achieve an average speed of 100, we can cover Mumbai Delhi in 14 hours and Mumbai Kolkata in 20 hours. Let's do that first. But kudos to better coaches that we are gonna build.

    This train design at the front can be made more aerodynamic by making elongated nose of at least 5 meter. That will reduce drag coefficient. This may increase speed by at least 50 km per hour.

    • @shreyaskumarrath721
      @shreyaskumarrath721 ปีที่แล้ว

      The nose should be aerodynamic, sharper and curvier to reduce drag. The wheels and body of the train should be shifted a bit lower and the lower front needs to be changed. The interior needs luxurious and comfortable seats, good lighting and ventilation, a monitor and other facilities. The back should be overhauled just like the front, then we will truly have a world class train.

I have been travelling by Massurie express since my childhood. Can you believe one has to halt for hours at Najibabad and this situation is continuing for last 40 years. Railways has been experimenting since long time to connect Meerut to Bijnor but nothing happened. This is called regional imbalances due to persistent neglect. Even NH 119 is also facing complete neglect as so called highway is full of potholes and huge craters. My suggestion is that all our metro cities are overcrowded and hugely suffering from poor connectivity it should be endeavours that Railway must work to improve connectivity within range of 500 kms in existing routes from all metropolitan cities in the country. So far as facts referred in my earlier comments the sae are based on TOI report today.

Thr by no interchange is thr for engines, gets more power, or making a t18 both ends with lhb coaches in the middle, of course u require power etc for the normal lhb but thr wd certainly b a way to get to use older lhb along with these and make a longer rake set, reducing costs, more capacity people transported faster Acceleration achieved for the t18, at the same time w higher utilization say 18-20hrs a day for the rake ie 24hrs ie from 12-15hrs a day towards 18hrs min rake utilization in 24hrs... Thr wd b people who can come up nd meet with the required objectives...... It wd ❤speed up the acceleration, ❤turnaround time,
    ❤ larger capacity,
    ❤ 18-20hr utilization/24hr / ❤avg speed shd also b above 125kmph
    ❤Minimum maintaince
    ❤Or atleast attempt 70rake with wag12
    Both shd b done to c if v can do it... Can v rise above our in capabilities of thought, or the restrictions of our mind, N rise beyond the box full thinking v r used to.... Let's say objectives being capacity N speed n 20hr utilization nd integration

Have more durable aluminium components and shells on the coaches to reduce the power by weight ratio, making it more economical with good aesthetics, retain steel wherever required as steel is safe & reliable. 2.why did railways introduce vande bharat without upgrading tracks to accomodate high speeds? chennai-mysore VB train runs at just 90km/hr because tracks cannot accomodate higher speed..isnt this classic case of putting cart before the horse?

    What are the implications of moving from steel to aluminium coaches on passenger safety in case of a crash?
    Mr. Mani mentioned that even the developed countries already are (or moving towards) using aluminium coaches in place of steel coaches. Is that true for the same speed of around 200 kmph, or is it for much higher speeds (>300 kmph)? If these other countries are indeed still using steel coaches in trains with speeds of upto 200 kmph (for reasons of passenger safety, for example), doesn't India have the ability to manufacture locomotives that can haul steel coaches (same number of coaches per rake as in the aluminium version) at 200 kmph?
    Is passenger safety being compromised in moving from steel to aluminium coaches for the sake of speed?

Indian govt is trying to cut off the poor people from using indian railway services, making it difficult to afford for the middle class people and just privatising railways for meeting the needs of the rich.
