I love Brian Tyler Cohen!💜 I'll add this to my book list📚 He's a fact-checker, a good communicaror (which should be part of our schools' curriculum, and he's 'plugged in' to current (and past) politics. I used to tune out that whole subject, but now I understand how important it is for the generations after me; to vote for the party who will😢 address the educational, medical, environmental (air, water, resources, sustainability..), Social Secuity and Medicare... systems. I want a leader who will keep America signed on to the Paris Climate Accord (which Trump dropped us out of). A leader who understands our security is reliant on being part of the United Nations (which Trump said we should drop out of). I want a compassionate President and Vice President who understands medical issues are between women & men and their doctors, and how wrong it is for a whole (republican) party to think a governmental committee should decide for them! Vote Blue for the Planet. 🌊 for the 🌎 ❤️🤍💙
I always thought OTD is an unbiased organization. Clearly this shift on strategy to switch from a debate to a monologue on such a critical time, has a lot to say about where this institution stands and which direction they are leaning towards.
Kudos to Nick Gillespie for conducting a civil dialogue. His guest, unfortunately, seems to be a shameless partisan incapable of critical thinking. Not that bright, rather juvenile thinking. I can see why people who are ideologically different might not want to engage with him, he really seems dismissive and more interested in his “team”. Interesting how he thinks those on the right are manipulated but their media, yet those on the left aren’t…wow, time to wake up brother and get outside of your little bubble!
I can't stand his shallowness and obvious lies based on partisanship. He is also just being used by the Democratic party but he either doesn't see it or doesn't care. Both are horrible.
Open To Debate chooses this guy to drop the debate? Merely hosting this guy, who's so clearly partisan and biased, is a grave disservice to OTD's reputation. I'm glad Jon Donvan didn't host this, as it means his reputation wasn't seriously damaged, whereas Nick Gillespie can't pretend to be an unbiased moderator.

Nick Gillespie did a terrific job. He asked great questions and challenged many points while maintaining a conversational feel.
Interesting topic! Loved the debate

Great chat 👍👍
I think BTC really politely dealt with the Heritage lady and her bizarre talking points dressed up as questions
Can you guys bring someone on that's at least living close to reality?
Wait, isn't B.T. Cohen guilty of fomenting political polarization?
The heritage foundation lady is the definition of bad faith
It was good to have her on as she came across as a complete kook 🤪
how did this hit-piece get pitched as commentary on polarization? 😆

He openly lies… he lied in favor of Biden just a few months ago on Piers Morgan multiple times it came across as he was pushing more propaganda

Desperate attempt....
Bryan is so biased and permanently has “sad face” he just said 3 months ago Biden is sharp as a tack behind closed doors
Saying "misinformation" unironically or uncritically immediately discredits Brian's arguments.
Lmao. "No media infrastructure". Bro forgot about CNN, MSNBC, CBS, PBS, NPR, ABC, NBC, NYT, WAPO ETC😂
