You'd better add a caption to say that the Overseas in PDC has closed, only 2 left in Lanza now 🥲 There is a Mercadona now in Puerto del Carmen opposite the Fariones hotel that opened on the 4th of August 2022 ☺ Yeh Lidl and Aldi are on par in the UK just as much as they are on par in Spain, an Aldi is due to open on Lanarote in 2023 in Arrecife near the old concrete works 😁
@@MrTravelONWorld ahhhh haha!! Yes, please do! It'll be Aldi Nord, so a different branch of Aldi to the UK which is Aldi Süd, so it'll be a bit different!
Thanks so much! I will be on the Northside of Lanzarote for Thanksgiving this year (yes, I am American) and your video helped me to know I need to stop on the drive from the airport as it seems there is nothing big up north! Thank you for the tips
Great video as invaluable information. With regards to perfumes I noticed there are a couple of different places to buy from. Which one would you recommend. Thanks
Hi I absolutely love watching your videos can't wait to be there I'm stopping at cassa de los suenos on c.salinas in purto del carmen, I don't know how long it takes to get to the old town or the strip but hope it's not far but my main question is my dad can't live without British bacon and sausage definelty the day after a few to many beers so where is the best place for these products thanks
Thanks for an importent video Sir! It's a new and very big Mercadona on the beach walk close to the harbor in Puerto del carmen! Lots of fresh fish and seashells, meat etc and cheap! 2 weeks ago we paid 5.25€/kg for the chokoS, 7.97€/kg for gambas & 11.95€/kg for entrecote! One liter Lanzarote Rum 6.25€ with 40% alkohol! 10 small breaks1.10€! BesT REGARDS Peter Eriksson Sweden Europe 😊😊😊!
@@MrTravelONWorld to be fair I was last in Tenerife before covid so maybe the prices have just went up since then. I definitely remember the beer being a lot cheaper
Hi hopefully coming out in October!!! Been before but always gone all inclusive this time we’re trying self catering!! Any idea how much a taxi is from Costa teguise to the Lidl? Love your channel very interesting and informative xxx
😂 going to Lanzarote to buy British food🤮 NO thanks. Good video and good information, specially about Lilds, is great to know they have lots of vegan foods because many of us for ethical reasons don't eat, wear or use murdered animals or the secretions and ovulations of living ones. I've been to slaughterhouses and seen for myself how they cry and beg for their lives. It's heartbreaking what's done to them for no other reason than a bad habit.
Although overpriced, it isn't just for the odd treat, for the local expats, it's things like gravy granules and other certain thing that the Spanish/locals don't use and shops don't stock that we find nearly essential, to be handy, especially when in Spar, a small Bisto gravy granule tub is €6.50!!!
@@MrTravelONWorld it has, I stopped going when the small one closed in front of the casino, I popped into the other PDC one about 3 times after, and only bought 1 thing as everything had gone up so much 🥲

Where has the best range of free from as in wheat, gluten and lactose as I have been diagnosed with Crohn’s
Most places now show menus with symbols so you will be fine they all pretty much cater
For supermarkets Lidl has a good range and Hiper Dino a full area
Thank you I have to be really careful until I back to hospital in October I have to have free from wheat, gluten and lactose
I’m a Celiac wondering what supermarkets cater it’s gluten free , lactose intolerant too ? Ty
@@SA-mj5mg super dino but not much really being careful
Hiper Dino near the airport for everything you want.
Yeah try Mercadonna I prefer that one better selection and good packed meat but Hipo is a good one too
you didn't give the address of the supermercado
which one
No spanish Tesco?? ;(
ha ha no
We prefer Lidl near IKEA.
Yes a bit bigger
How about showing Ropers in Playa Honda where you can get FRESH meats & fish and not all the frozen rubbish you get in Icelands.
Rogers is a commercial as the rest these days
IKEA
MMMM I suppose for meatballs
If you want British food stay at home.
