  • If you need Italian flair in a serious but approachable package, then perhaps the Aprilia RS660 is the perfect parallel-twin middleweight sportbike for you. With its half-a-V4 270-degree twin engine, it's got just enough firepower to keep the pros happy, and the intermediate riders satisfied whether on the road or on the track. Let's go in-depth with it on this episode of Beyond The Ride.

Good bike for my home country of Canada, great for sport touring. Way more power than you could ever use on the street here. Excellent review. Thanks.

I hope Aprilia gives us a slight facelift/refresh on the 660 and gives us a racing livery edition like they do with the RSV4 Factory and the RS457

I have a 21 zx6r and I love it. But I would trade it for this. Better tech smoother easier to ride. 100 hp is perfect fast.

and also one of its best features is the twin spar aluminum frame that flexes under pressure and results in a much more sharper, greater rider feedback and greater handling of the bike than the other 600cc supersports that the big 4 has to offer, syempre I watch too much yammie noob😂

I wonder how's the after sales support (maintenance) for this bike here in the Philippines? They're not as popular or as common here as the Japanese bikes.

if only the R7 comes with quickshift and auto blip. It'd the perfect "basic" middleweight bike

    almost ZX10r pricing in Philippines

Power, features and looks blows out other middleweights. On the other side of this coin is the price which allows room for the Japanese middleweights to eat its lunch at the dealers.

I'd argue that the Triumph Street Triple would be the better middleweight. More power, better suspension, better OE tires. The only things you lose out on are the fairings and clip-ons.
