My opinion: Kaidou is actually pretty cool. Aside from his "8th grade syndrome", he's really a good guy. He's cute, he's smart, he's not pervy (I.E. no Ero mags under his bed) and even though he has no physical ability and can be a scaredy-cat, he can actually be pretty courageous when it comes to it. I mean, remember the incident that lead up to him and Aren being friends? He was brave enough to sacrifice himself so Saiki and Aren could run away from the delinquents even though he knew Aren could beat them all up. He's totally a keeper in my book. Plus he has an awesome theme song. I would want to be friends if he were real 🤣
PLOT TWIST it turns out, he can Astral Project and his form is a dark winged angel. there he fights a coalition of poltergeist calling themselves Dark Reunion. But of course his astral form's powers don't work in his body. *eight grade syndrome intensifies*
I would totally watch that but what I would watch even more as an anime all about that class rep of theirs he's so awesome I always a little awkward with how he exercises wherever the hell he is but the dude is so damn inspirational I love it he's cool and it wouldn't be awkward I would so go as him for Halloween but I'm pretty sure not enough people know he exists at least in the area I live

We had an ice storm here in Toronto 2 days ago. The power went out for an hour, then came back on.... then went out again, I looked over at my gf and sighed "Dark Reunion" and we laughed for 15 minutes =P This is a very happy show, and I feel it has enriched our daily lives, a lot "lighter" than what we typically watch. So a comment made me realize this. Technically, Kaido is the second main character. He, besides Saiki, is the only one to have his own theme song. Think about it.
Three years ago.. he was my favorite character. Haven't changed my type, still my favorite character even if I don't watch Saiki K. anymore. Good times..
alright ive only seen season one but a good 65% of me really desires for Kaidou to secretly have powers and for Dark Reunion to be for real like psychic hunters or something. i mean i know its a comedy but theres alot you can do with that... or maybe it could take a serious turn and become something anew... i know i know im pushing it but hey lots of people want him to be a little more capable.
If they do that later in the series it would be great. They could have an episode where actually does but in order to save his friends he has to give them up in one epic burst of glory and then has to deal with the fact he used to be a hero.
I kinda want that too, but he's also someone who cries in the bathroom and throws like a girl, has no stamina and is bad at sports and pretty average lol, so I don't think it'll happen. He's already got enough character
I love the realization we got when we found out it's not just a short "Judgment knights of"... the extended version when it appeared, it got me and got more excited for the ost than the actual episode... I honestly love this anime from the time it posted 1 episode a day (return from college and watch one episode after a tiring day).
Kaido wasn't screaming, he was yelling his war cries. The reason why Kaido was last was because he knew he was too fast so he went to last place so to then comeback at top 1. And if your wondering why Kaido struggled to pick up a motercycle was because he was way too powerful that he had to use 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.1% power. And you might be wondering why Kaidou was throwing weak punches at Nendo. The reason why he was throwing weak punches was becaus he didn't want to hurt his friend Nendo. What a legend.

alright ive only seen season one but a good 65% of me really desires for Kaidou to secretly have powers and for Dark Reunion to be for real like psychic hunters or something. i mean i know its a comedy but theres alot you can do with that... or maybe it could take a serious turn and become something anew... i know i know im pushing it but hey lots of people want him to be a little more capable.
If they do that later in the series it would be great.
They could have an episode where actually does but in order to save his friends he has to give them up in one epic burst of glory and then has to deal with the fact he used to be a hero.
I kinda want that too, but he's also someone who cries in the bathroom and throws like a girl, has no stamina and is bad at sports and pretty average lol, so I don't think it'll happen. He's already got enough character

I love the realization we got when we found out it's not just a short "Judgment knights of"... the extended version when it appeared, it got me and got more excited for the ost than the actual episode... I honestly love this anime from the time it posted 1 episode a day (return from college and watch one episode after a tiring day).

Kaido wasn't screaming, he was yelling his war cries. The reason why Kaido was last was because he knew he was too fast so he went to last place so to then comeback at top 1. And if your wondering why Kaido struggled to pick up a motercycle was because he was way too powerful that he had to use 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.1% power. And you might be wondering why Kaidou was throwing weak punches at Nendo. The reason why he was throwing weak punches was becaus he didn't want to hurt his friend Nendo. What a legend.
