To be completely honest, xTool reached out to me and asked me to try and review this machine. So Although I was slightly looking into laser machines for a while, I didn't do a lot of research beforehand. After they reached out, I have done a lot of research on the D1 pro 20w and people seemed to be very happy with it. And so far I have been very happy with this machine too, so although I might possibly test a different brand in the future, I love my xTool D1 Pro and I've heard all good things about the new F1 too, hopefully I'll try it one day! 😊
I didn’t use anything else just the laser. It usually comes out pretty black(if the right settings are used) it’s the oxidation. And these were brass based discs, perhaps it would be a bit lighter on st.steel.

Did you use Laser Marking Spray to make the pattern show black on metal?
