What laser are you using?

They're called bar magnets and you can get them on Amazon or eBay. Thanks for watching.
When you put masking tape on top do you have to retest all your settings ?
Generally no, but some tapes are thick enough that you may have to slightly increase your power.

If all you're going is small items like earrings, most CO2 laser will work for you.

Any masking tape should work. I prefer the blue stuff from 3M.
