We just rescued a husky with lots of issues. Alpha, flinching, trying to dig out at potty time, bullying his new sister.
We put love and attention at the forefront and he was coming to, slowly.
The flip came after he got incredibly sick from eating snacks that weren't as high grade as I thought. He couldn't control going to the bathroom just from trying to rush out side.
He was so so afraid of punishment it would cause more shaky legged accidents.
I sat down with him and held him and talked quietly with him while doing the food changes, adding pumpkin and sweet potato to his diet.
After 3 days it finally cleared up...he changed completely.
He's now the best pet we've ever had. No alpha, no flinching, no digging and loving on Bella. I actually was able to open my back gate with him outside for the first time without him trying to run away.
We love him so much he's perfect.
Just got a 6 month old husky last week. He wasn’t acting right so took him to the vet, turns out he had 3 different types of worms. He’s got 3 types of medicine he’s taking right now and I’m feeding him boiled chicken and white rice. He is starting to act like he should and be more playful but he is also starting to be stubborn. Thank you for the tips!

When I got my 8 month old he had worms and coxidia. So glad I got him because the lady that had him had no clue he was even sick. The coxidia will kill them if not treated.

When I had a husky, she loved the cold and snow. It was 15 degrees with the wind blowing. She was in her dog house sleeping. She didn't want to come inside. After a while, she decided to come. That really loved the cold weather.

How long did it take to get the dogs and cat comfortable with each other. My cats are still suspect of my my husky pups. One of the cats doesn't even care anymore, but the other cat is still a little on edge. Jon snow the cat is always checking to see if there is a husky around the corner.
Training also builds the relationship and trust. I can tell a difference in my Brittany's personality after a training session; he's just more affectionate towards me.

We just got a husky puppy two weeks ago. She’s 9 weeks now and very active. The issue I’m having is that she plays rough with our 9 year old Boston terrier and she bites on his neck and back. I’m worried that it will become a problem and she’ll really hurt him. Any suggestions please??

Hello sixty formula !🙂I have 2 Huskies of age 1 ! Do you think I can train them even now at 1 year old ? I guess I have to work really hard with them! They don’t really listen much especially when I call them to me. They come to me just when they hear the bag of treats!
I’ve done some basic training the boy just with them for a while but I wasn’t repeating it so often because they get so distracted even inside from things they hear outside and they jump in the window and also see other dogs and are getting agitated cuz and crying that they wanna play with everyone who passes by ..
Not sixty but yes it can be done just work at it every day 3 to 4 times a day with 10 to 15 minute period

I was just wishing that my daughters Siberian Husky, Misha, obeyed like ur ‘’pup-a-ronnes’’ do !!!!!! Misha will b 2 in December and we hav tried it seems like everything to train her ……😩😩 She was hurt when she was 13 weeks old by a boxer who it’s K9 tooth went thru her eye and Misha had to hav a cornea transplant so for the first year of her life she was on high doses of narcotic pain meds so I don’t know if that has something to do with her training …..,Because she has been house trained with no problem and we trained her not to go out of an area around our house and she seems to be very smart sometimes I think she is smarter than most humans 😝😝 but she is very spoiled bc she will not go in her crate she sleeps with my daughter but I don’t know how to train her as I said we took her to b professionally trained and that didn’t do no good at all so I’m going to try u and ur pup a ronis tips !!! Hopefully they will do the job 😋😋 Bty we love u and ur pup a rones❤️❤️❤️

How soon can I start training my Husky? She’s currently 9 weeks old. She’s just a huge ball of energy and has no attention span lol
You can start training your Husky immediately and that's the most important part. Definitely start with small commands/focus exercises. It's literally a baby, of course it's gonna be like that. You have to have diligence and patience, even when your husky does retain, understands, and still chooses not to listen. Not an easy dog, too smart to be an easy dog, not doubting your ability just putting that out there.

I’m getting a new husky pup in a weeks time, he will be 9 weeks when I pick him up. I’m so excited!
