I went to Imphal in the year 1998 when I was 18. Now after almost 22 years later, i'm stunned to see this video of Imphal city like this. It's gorgeous and wonderful. Just need more skyscrapers to look the city more appealing and beautiful. For me, Imphal city is developed city already.
Skyscrappers officially not allowed. 7 storey is the maximum allowed now, before two years it was just 5 storeys. Also, no regulations for flat/apartment construction. If professional builders built and sell flats then the buildings would look lot nicer.... it will happen in say 5 years just like it happened in guwahati about 6/7 years ago because the demand is there. In short, the city has grown but the regulators are still in a small town mindset. Hopefully it will change soon.

Should have included places like Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Sanjenthong bridge and historical monuments etc. Perhaps due to security concerns some of the beautiful places are not shown. Good job, though......

The only problems of the city are lack of fancy buildings, and dumping of garbages in ema keithel ewwwsss!!, and dumping in road sides and rivers in bazaar areas ufff..., cmon Manipur, our mindset should not be like the rest of India.... You can do it better.... I appeal to all authorities to take stern action polluting the city. I would like to do but I got no power.
By the way, the video 📹 taken is cinematic and looking awsome from above like those of South East Asian countries, keep it up...!

First of all, its the most detailed drone footage of Imphal City ever. Nice Work!!! Just for Information, did you take any permissions to fly at the heart of Imphal City? For example you flew near Raj Bhavan & Kangla Fort where there is a Helipad. Please give some info on flight restrictions. Your information would be very helpful. Thank you
Thanks for liking our video. Actually these footages were shot in earlier years when there were less restriction on filming with UAVs. Now it has been very strict to even own a drone without registration. Our footages are mainly taken out from wedding videos that we did in these last few years. You can apply for permission if you plan to fly in the areas that you mentioned. But many areas can't be filmed with UAV nowadays even after applying for permission.

@STUDIO DOMINANCE Try to shoot new video for Imphal including Khuman Lampak Sports complex, kangla, and imphal municipal area (both east and west). Take some shots for main roads from footbridge, that's infront on Kangla

This will be very rare drone footage of Imphal (specially near Kangla and Governor's residence) as I understand drone shooting in most part of Imphal is now 🚫 prohibited for security reasons.
