I bought the Low Rider on 10/08, three days ago. I only have my permit, so the dealership is delivering it to my home tomorrow. Wish me luck! Your video was a big help in me choosing this bike. Thank you...
I have a 2020 low rider s, this was my first Harley. I came from riding street bikes and I love this bike! The mid controls were great for me but now I’m thinking about doing forwards after getting used to the bike. I’m loving the videos man great quality. If you ever want to do reviews on other people’s bikes hit me up, I’m in Augusta. I’m at the Timm’s H-D here all the time I go up to Anderson every once in a while.
I started on street bikes myself. It had been years since I had ridden one and then I took one in on trade. I decided to take it for a ride and didn't even get out of the parking lot before turning around. It felt so weird having my feet behind me, leaning on the bars, short steering, my center of gravity being so high. LOL Thanks for the kind words! Next time you go to Augusta tell Jeff I said whats up!
They nailed it with their lineup but it’s a shame how the big boy bikes are falling behind I stopped in my local dealer all the bikes like these 2are sold out and this dealership owns 3others roadking are moving slow but are moving but the ultras and roadglides are still plentiful I was there last weekend up in Laconia nh and the softails were going out the door the bell was ringing but ultras plenty to choose from if they deep discount them I would trade my roadking on a ultra i love bells and whistles
I'm 5'8 so I'd move them back if they didn't feel right. Midnight crimson is superb. The equipment on this bike is top notch. Everything I like such as twin discs, 5 gallon tank, tank guages, good seat. Bars aren't too bad, normally go for Z bars. Hate drag bars.
Video quality looks great! I have to agree with the control positioning; they made my hips ache after a longer ride on a friend of mine's Lowrider S. Thanks for the great reviews!
@@throttleblip9854 I’m 6’1. Back when I had my Sportster I put forwards on it and the forward controls (and floorboards) are part of why I went with an FLSL instead of an FXLRS.
Matter of fact I love the positioning of the foot controls. As someone who doesn't take long trips but still wants a more forward control than a true mid. I think it's great. I never like Harleys beyond the Street Glide Special and the Lowrider S. But this bike is on my Santa list. As far as your video resolution I really prefer a 1080p 60hz video. I think the fluidity of a high refresh rate adds a lot to a motovlog over straight up resolution. Also switch to a chin mounted setup for better POV
Picture quality is good brotha! Very nice bike, I eventually wanna sell my sport bike and cruise, this seems like what I would eventually want to end up in. Thanks for the video! Keep them coming!
Just bought this bike but black yesterday. Already completely agree about the controls, I’m 5’11 also and they are awkward at times. I’m also coming off of a sport bike so kinda having to get use to the cruiser seating position
I just bought a 2020 Limited at the end of 2020. My wife and I do lots of touring. So, the Limited will be my first and most used bike. However, if I can get a second, this is the one. The color on this one is GREAT. The badging is just right to match the wheels. The 114 is a great engine. To another subject, the 2.7 was fine. I would like to see you raise the camera up, maybe mount it to your helmet or something. I don’t know. Otherwise, great review!
I’m torn between this one and the Fat Bob. I don’t think there is a wrong decision there. Yeah I’m having my helmet painted and then that’s the move! Thanks for watching. 🙏🏼
Great bike, I have a 2020 in Black and love it. The only real complaint I have is that the seat, but I've ordered a seat from Saddlemen to fix that issue. Other than that it's so much fun.
I'm 5'11 a future rider. I've sat on the Low Rider S I would replace it to forward controls. I do like where the handle bars are. Great video ride safe and enjoy.
Throttle Blip, I ended up purchasing a 2016 Heritage (Vivid Black), this bike fit me great. I like the old style look, and also it was one owner, garbage kept, and only had 500 miles, along with a low price. The dealership did not have a 2021 Lower Rider S in stock, so I was not able to test ride it. Thanks for sharing your H-D knowledge, it helps answer many questions. Ride Safe and God Bless!
The quality of the video looks fine, even 1080/60 would be fine. The camera position is what I would change. It is nice to see the gauges but I would like to see more of the road. That's just my thoughts. I am hoping to pick up a LRS this spring.

Bike to be used for commuting and long distances since its kind in the middle of Harley family’s. Wanted to say if you can also include some reviews of bikes essential and accessories.
I love this bike. For commuting/distance riding I'd want to add bags for sure and probably a small fairing also. The seat isn't bad but if you're going to be doing longer rides I'd upgrade it. I definitely want to get into accessories soon.
your video is just fine and clear, you have to find anorher position if the camera to change the view while you're riding, a view that can experience the ride itself and how the bike goes on the street.
Good review of an awesome bike. I think your channel is great too. 1080p resolution is good. I think the GoPro would be better mounted higher, but the gauges are cool.
I just got the 48. But i wanna have a bigger bike for long rides. I wonder if this lowrider s is short ppl friendly since I'm on the short side🤔 this bike is beautiful. It might be my next bike if i can reach it.
It would be great to see the sales figures for all the models worldwide and broken down into sales per continent. Lowrider S versus the Street Bob especially as they are very similar bikes. Forks, wheels, seats and three thousand dollars but not much else. Which is more popular and is there a significant difference in bikes sold i wonder ?

There are a lot of factors at play when choosing a first bike. I'd suggest taking a riding class somewhere and finding out how comfortable you are on a bike before buying one. Without knowing all of the details, I'd say no, don't start on the Lowrider S.
There's no pushing this bike for me. It's got far more power than my 2014 Street Glide. It's crazy fast. The only thing I really want to change beyond my original purchase add-ons (forward controls for my long legs, 14" ape hanger handlebars to keep me sitting up straight and Screamin' Eagle Slip-on exhaust for a nice grunt for now. LOL!!) is to just add the full exhaust system and any programmer/ firmware flash requirements beyond that. I just really am not that crazy about how quiet it is out of the factory. Sounds like riding my wife's 883 Super Low. LOL!!
I love everything about the look of this bike EXCEPT that rear fender. The huge break light, and the overall length of it. If this had the Fat Bob rear fender this bike would be killer! I have an '18 Fat Bob, but considering trading in for a 2021 Low Rider S. I want to research and see if I can swap out the rear fender tho.
@@rot8ingeskimo - Someone on the FaceBook group swapped it for a Fat Bob and it looks really sweet. I did purchase a 2022 LRS, but thus far have kept the stock rear fender. It's growing on me, looks wise. I did changed the license plate to a lay-down plate, as well as the rear brake light to something slimmer - I think it looks really nice now from the rear.
I'll give you a suggestion. I don't like watching POV ride videos. It's basically just a tour of the town. I like ride videos where you can see the rider on the bike. I know that means having an extra camera man, but if you can pull it off I think more people will stick around to the end.
Picture quality is great! My suggestion would be to raise the camera up when you’re on the bike so the camera is up and over the bars.

Great review video! Really informational! Keep up the good work!
Thanks!! I appreciate the support.
Quality is good. better cam position would be better
I love everything about the look of this bike EXCEPT that rear fender. The huge break light, and the overall length of it. If this had the Fat Bob rear fender this bike would be killer! I have an '18 Fat Bob, but considering trading in for a 2021 Low Rider S. I want to research and see if I can swap out the rear fender tho.
how did the research come along mate? that's a good idea!
@@TalismanRocks awesome man, sometimes simple is a lot better
I'll give you a suggestion. I don't like watching POV ride videos. It's basically just a tour of the town. I like ride videos where you can see the rider on the bike. I know that means having an extra camera man, but if you can pull it off I think more people will stick around to the end.
Video quality is great, just need to go back to the helmet mounted camera better view. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
Picture quality is great
Video/picture quality is good 👍🏼
Great bike. I would suggest riding with another bike so we can see all the angles. Thanks for the video.
I agree. I'm surprised how hard its been to get someone to go ride with me to help film. haha
I bought this bike and love it.
Video quality is great!!!
how much is the OTD price?
I'm not sure but Timms would be glad to give you a quote. I didn't see a red one last time I was there but they did have 2 black ones. 864-224-1531
