Perhaps buy a small Trond/Avantree, or such, wireless Low Latency transmitter/receiver and some Velcro brand Industrial strength self-adhesive hook and loop strips; 50mm/2" wide. Cut to fit back of transmitter and same size to stick to back of Nexus audio-out box. Buy a short length of stereo extension cable with a 3.5mm right angle male-end jack plug on one end (to go into transmitter) and either a 6.5mm male jack to go into audio outlet of the Nexus . Pair transmitter to headphones with Nexus switched off. Once paired, turn Nexus on and you're away to go. Around £25 for the lot. Only glitch is you'll need another set of wireless Low Latency headphones. Garretts are linked to their brand transmitter only, as far as I remember.

@@KernowekTim hey Tim thanks for the reply. I actually tried that and the latency is not quick enough with those and confuses the ground balance process. The delay in the audio was just enough to do that. I’ve considered making a video on the subject. I’m working on some other options. I’ll keep you posted. I think the gray ghost wireless even though it’s 2.4 GHz Bluetooth is going to work out. Its audio cable is separate from The charging port unlike Garrett. Gray ghost, they offer it for ATT Pro, which is a proprietary connection and minelab which I believe their ring /side wiring is different. I’ll keep you posted.

Really interested in purchasing a nexus. How long did it take to receive yours after ordering?

@@X-Marks_the_spot mine was a couple months I believe, you have to contact Nexus, Georgie makes each one to order. Depending on how many back orders he has dictates how long it takes to get one. Thanks for watching.

@DigginDude-vt8sx Thank you. I've been thinking about this for a couple years now. I have multiple detectors from pi machines, whites mxt, first equinox to the new manticore. Not like I need anymore but I love using different machines for different perspectives. Great videos keep em coming 👏

@@X-Marks_the_spot it definitely is different. I started on digital machines so all this analog stuff is new to me. It’s kind of crazy how great the unmasking is with analog. It really is a lot of fun. There is a bit of a learning curve using them, but once you get your head around it, you realize they’re not complicated at all. The V2 is different from the V3. I really like to V2 because of the iron reject switch option. But, the V3 has a vicious VCO tone that is awesome. If you haven’t already checked out Paul Warren channel because he shows a lot of tests something I won’t do because I don’t have the time. Thanks for watching

@DigginDude-vt8sx I have checked out his channel great videos very informative. I love a learning curve as I started on analog machines i have the concept down but every machine is very different. That's the other thought, which one? I do like the vco tones but the switch is nice as well 👌 can't loose with either though. Thank you for the input I'll be watching in the future.

@@jethrocarpenter3106 got one, the dainty little plug on the transmitter keeps intermittently failing, and it’s my second transmitter. Mine is now out of warranty. I wish to Garrett company would’ve made the headphone jack separate from the charging receptacle.
