- Want to be able to use your own GIFS on instagram stories? Here's how.
In this video, I will show you the steps to take in order to get verified on giphy.com as an artist so you can use your GIFS anywhere. As well, I will show you how to create GIFS using procreate.

I don't mean to be rude, but you mention there's a lot you can do to guarantee you'll get accepted on the verification thingy and you just don't explain any of those things.... so... what's the point of this video? because i've been applying for 2 years even with different accounts, meeting their criteria and no luck so far...

Hello again. I'm very sorry I had a hard time on a site for the first time. I followed all the steps and upgraded my page to an artist page. I added my address and social media links. But when I uploaded the gif, I couldn't make any progress. What should I do at this stage? How can I find out if I am a verified account? And how do I get certified and upload gifs?
You have to apply, you can upload everything but won’t get anywhere until you apply! support.giphy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020026512-Apply-For-An-Artist-Channel

Apparently you only one chance to get approved AND they don't give you a reason why you aren't approved...

I have created more than 5 gifs, but I still haven't received them, should I delete my gifs and start over?
I found when others weren’t accepted it was because they were making them for themselves not gifs that other people can use! Maybe start with 5 that people can use on their Instagram accounts such as new post and then when you get accepted you can upload whatever gifs you like

@@saruman4310 Hi! It's a super late reply so sorry for that. What Jamie meant was it's good to start with drawing gifs that you can use on instagram. For example: New Post, like/share words or symbols, Tap Here, So Cute, Happy Birthday, and so on. These stickers have their own function and insta users frequently search for these keywords too, e.g. "new post" and then they choose a new post gif they like. 🙂 It was hard for me to get started on Giphy too but when I was approved I did have a few New Post gifs and some other more functional gifs. Once I got approved, I could create more decoration gifs, mood expressing, or fanart stickers; they all got approved within a day or two. Did you try applying again?

This worked with someone recently: Try posting GIFs that everyone can use (For example: instagram related gifs- new post) then once approved, you can post your own gifs.

hi, I tried to apply and has uploaded around 10 gifs but my account is said to be ineligible.. is there any way around to get my gifs able to be search in Giphy?
Ahh such a pain! You can pay people to put your gifs in the search (those with verified accounts)

Yes I believe you can keep applying but they may give you some tips or just follow the guidelines again before reapplying

Great work!! Mine took over a day to get on there with the personal hashtags! Hopefully they appear soon otherwise maybe edit the hashtags and add another to see if it shows under that

@@itsjagbir might be your phone setting? I haven’t had that issue before, maybe try it on a computer and see if it works that way then it might be your settings
