    Great video, man! Welcome to the SoCal Crit Scene. You rode pretty smoothly, nice work. A quick thought that might help improve safety overall: at 6:00 I think that’s you from someone else’s cam sort of taking a line from outside-in when the field is moving wide. Keep in mind you really only get to choose your line if you’re on the front of the race. That far back in the pack is where crashes happen because someone decides that their line is better than that of the field and people in front of them. If you had stood up the bike like that and weren’t the guy furthest outside, that could have likely led to more carnage. The corner is super wide, if you’re on the outside there’s really no reason to squeeze the four riders underneath. That slows the race down and causes that slinky in the pack. Just some food for thought. Anyway, great first race result! Hope to see you at the next one 🤙🏼

    Fantastic Video! The jumping back and forth with A FASTER ME footage was pure art. The voice over made things exciting. A great job racing too!

    Wheels with too much power, it is good to use the gears, and the other thing, the last Lap grab the rudder from below for more power, good luck....

    Dang! Funny how a packed grid of motorcycles aint no thang but watching a tight pack of bicycles made me sweat!! Great job!

      Haha thanks, Tony! Before the race I thought to myself, how crazy could this really be compared to racing motorcycles. After the race I thought, "holy shit that was wild!"

    "Crash Fest" title to attract viewers I guess?

    • @thedoctorchocolate
      @thedoctorchocolate  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well, considering that was my first crit race, I thought two crashes in one race was considered a crash fest. Now, three years into racing, I can say with confidence that 2 crashes per race is about average lol.

    less video work and more real training will get you where you need to be just past Turn #3 to attack versus sucking wheel

    • @thedoctorchocolate
      @thedoctorchocolate  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good advice! I'll think about that, the next time I'm out on track. "Less video work, more training."
