  • Hey Y'all
    I filmed a video a little while ago of some new handmade watercolors I got in from Jasper Stardust. I totally forgot that I had done some art on camera as well! I hope you enjoy this more artsy video. I am working on editing my video for the custom Eternal Leather Goods Weeks Notebook cover that I had made to fit the Serling Ink Common Planner 520p N1. So stay tuned for that. Hope y'all have a very MERRY Christmas or just a fabulous day if you don't celebrate. Wishing you all so much love!
    xoxo

    Love the water colors. It's amazing what can be done depending on how much or how little water is used.

    My life is now complete knowing The Sponge Lady 😆 You are So cute how excited you get about the beauty of color.
    And I'm in Awe of your bravery in opening up about your past and your "bricks." I never knew. Isn't it amazing how God can take bad and create good? Your life could have gone in a Completely different direction and here you are- giving Him all the glory. Using your talents to praise Him. You're a beautiful soul my friend ❤ Hugs from Napa

    Your new watercolors are beautiful & I love your nude paintings! When it comes to using nude models for art - I am completely desensitized to the nude human body in all its ages, colours and sizes after going to art school lol. We all stood in a circle with our easels, with the nude model in the middle, who we would draw and paint for hours. When it comes to religion and nude art, the Vatican (the Catholic home base in Italy) has tons and tons of nude paintings and sculptures. Europeans in general are a lot less prudish than us in North Americans I think… I mean they have nude sculptures in their city squares for all eyes of all ages to see.

      I would love to go to a live painting one day. My mom's family are German and so we always just walked around naked. haha!!! It was no big deal to see one of us just grabbing something we needed after a shower. There's much to be discussed on how American's treat the body... so much shame as well as TONS of objectification.

    Great review! I just ordered 3 colors (including the graphite one you have) and I’m excited to add these to my colors!!

    Certain things really have me pondering over them. As your starting your figure painting my mind went down the bunny trail of did someone just watched squirrels running around and thought, I wonder if that would be a good paint brush?😂

    Your thoughts on the naked body! I love drawing mermaids..and some of my favorite ones I have done, I never share because they are nude from the waist up

    I know it’s off topic, but what cut is your center stone? Looks like an elongated cushion?

    • @AliBrownie
      @AliBrownie  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes! It's a 10x8 elongated cushion moissanite. 🥰

    Do you not mind about paper buckling because you are going to scan it?

      @AliBrownie  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is an older video so I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure I painted on watercolor paper and there wasn't much buckling at all. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    I wanted to love his watercolors but the chalkiness turns me off. Because I love a yummy, creamy watercolor, they seem a little odd to me, but others may indeed like them.

      Some of them are chalky..but these ones weren't too bad. I think it depends on the color. Thanks so much for watching! xoxo
