It looks great and you did a wonderful job restoring it as well!!!! I enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up I would have extra parts if I tried to do that HAHAHAHAHA
For anyone who is interested in the breakdown of a clock's internal parts, this is a fantastic video. It's also great for showing different ways of dealing with the clean-up, and rust removal. Beyond that... there is so much wrong with this, that I can't describe how much I hated this video. For a start, you NEVER use a blowtorch to remove the Canon pinion!
Moral of the story is a normal house sitting man could not repair such table clock.. Because we dont have mill right machines, ultrasonication, spray painting, Laser krafting, micro drilling.. Etc etc😒😒😒
Do the arrows by any chance glow at the savo without a light source? Such old watches are extremely dangerous. Perhaps there is a permanent radium-based light mass. Considering that the mass is old, it crumbles and falls off, radioactive dust is obtained. You would check with a dosimeter just in case.
Why sanding, rust removal or nickel coating when you can just sand blast it, cold blue it, or paint over the nearly unworked metal? Life's too short and you only live once! Seriously, truth be told, watching My Mechanics has forever spoiled me. This video was a hard watch, but eventually, that beautiful piece looks good after assembly. And he's the one restoring it, while we're merely watcihing. Good luck with your future endeavors, mister.

That sound for the pattern designer gives me the creeps😮😵😲
Just fascinating 🎉

Un lavoro schifoso 😮
Who else smiled when that second hand started moving/ticking...?

It's staged.

So hard work ..better buy new one
You are a true talent. Nice to se yur progess.
But I do not understand how exactly eveything can be so equally rusted, even the brass parts?? Hmm🤔
My grandma is from 1939 and she is lives😊
Search youtube and you can find how to make objects looks old and rusty😂
Even plastic is rusty.but this video i like to see the restoration good job

What liquids and gel-like grease are you using there?
❤😊😮🎉🎉🎉😮😮😮😮
💪👍👏👏👏👏😁
I think the clock was produced for the Turkish market. The original face of the clock says "Swiss Company" in Turkish.
like colleague, I also create, I make car models from cardboard
This makes me sad because I don’t have my old clock like that! I honestly dislike today’s battery clocks! I wish I had my old clock still.
I PURCHASED ONE IN 1954 FROM CHANDNI CHOWK AS A STUDENT IT WAS MADE IN GERMANY FROM USA
How to put that battery?
🥰🤝🥰
Binance par video bana da sir❤
😮
When tak8ng apart 8ntracate parts, how do y9u rember how to put it back k together? Photos?

Good job overall, but the new clock-face has nothing in common with the original. Disappointing.
Where is the balance wheel...??? That's not the process of fitting the needles ....
Was this clock in the titanic?
Not exactly sure how a clock gets that much internal corrosion? 🤔
I don't understand either, they were given to me in such a state.
Faked? 😠
@@samuelfellows6923 may be staged, but definitely not fake. There is a difference. Staged is still annoying though he has genuinely restored it.
Shouldn't it have been gold or brass in color?
Being exposed to salt water will do it

Watch ?
Alarm Clock)
A Watch is clock that you wear on your wrist, this is an alarm clock ⏰ to wake you up in the morning.
If it was that bad it would never run again fake resto vid
MAYBE THAT IS COFFEE CORUTION!!!?
𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 ⏰😉
another set up restoration ....sadly
Please elaborate.
???
How is this set up??
Another idiot……sadly
Ooh...such a miserable pessimist...
Instead of just replying to say "THANK YOU", you should also answer questions about the restoration, out of respect for the followers...!
