thanks for the video, what about if I write (this-is-the preferred-version) to all my posts? because My post was excluded by noindex tags around 100 more
I don't think that would work. Make sure the post doesn't have noindex tag, and has the rel canonical tag. Then submit your post to search console for reindexing.
Can caching plugins cause this? Because of all the webpages listed in 'Duplicate without user-selected canonical' , there is none that has a duplicate...all my articles are unique, one for each title
Hello! I need your help please. I have changed the slug on one of my main pages and now in the search it appears that it does not exist. The new one is also indexed but I see duplicate content. How could I solve it? thank you so much!!
Thanks for the Vedio , I have a landing page with many PDF files, the Urls are pretty the same with ending of each year are different , like 2022/ 2022 , so i applied Canonical tag for the version 2022 PDF , and i see that in the code , but GSC reports (Duplicate without user-selected canonical) , any suggestions please ?
Ensure that the canonical tag is correctly implemented on the 2022 PDF page and points to itself. If possible, try to make the content of each year's PDF distinct enough that search engines don't view them as duplicates. This might not always be feasible, but it's worth considering.

I don't think it is caused by cache plugin. It would be a serious issue with them if they caused such problems.
For the shopify store all in head, each product?
Yes, if it's possible. I'm not familiar with Shopify though.

Redirect the old url to the new one. Submit the new url to search console for indexing.

For shopify store is the same?
It's probably going to be different. I'm not familiar with Shopify.
