Well this is new. Father sounds like the traditional priests I follow, but with a very unique tone. I gotta say I appreciate this “tough” call to action. It gets me pumped.

"You have to ask God to make you crazy with crazy love for Him". I just turned 40 and I am fast realizing this is the only way to live as a Catholic Christian in these insane times. I am jumping down the well.

Don't forget to report back and let us know what it's like down there.

Haven't heard from you in months and then this pops up. Like the holy spirit knew what I needed to hear! Yes, respectability renders us incapable of preaching and living the gospel message.

Pure poetry, straight out of the gutter with so much dirty linen to read between the lines. A terrible beauty is reborn! But if we take this full circle, we'll be back where we started. Help!

"You must not just sip the water. You must shove your head in the bucket..." Thank you Father for your colorful reminder that we're on the path to heaven and we have to be courageous if we take this route and suffer the slings and arrows that come at us along the way. A much milder version I've heard said is this: Christianity is not for wimps. And this is too true!

It never ceases to amaze me how often undesirables understand the gospel. Ironically my local Cathedral (here in England) proposed planting thorny shrubs to keep undesirables out of the Cathedral grounds.

wow I really needed to hear this. As today by being respectable, I got ripped off by someone trying to make me homeless, by stealing my property seemingly by a respectable person. I will find my inner thug for the way forward thank you for posting. It does seem to be the opposite to what I have been taught in the Christian Church. I will keeping watching this video such a revelation

You have missed the point if you think he's talking about going out and being mean to people. Discern his point carefully. It's about your relationship with God.

    Hi,
I think you would increase your reach if you posted on spotify. People often want to listen to something on the commute driving.
    God bless

When I can watch stuff like this, this is why I don't pay the RTE licence.

I went to a catholic primary school. The nuns were Hard old ......... . Anyway long story short. This was the early 80s. The Head Nun banned soccer because as she said it was for poofters and fairys. She said her boys were only playing Rugby and Only Rugby. We beat Every other school in town. I remember the final of the biggest Rugby Tournament. The priest on the sideline before the game finishing his cigarette then praying and blessing our team because the other team was full of 12 year olds and we were all 10. We went out like David against Goliath. ......But we fricken won!!!

If you've touched somebody for good 👍. But encouraging one to invoke ones inner thug!?
Yes the 'luke warm' are detestable.
    Revelation 3:16 (significant number?)
But also who is not against you Luke 9:50, Mark 9:38.
The gifts of the Spirit are varied among the Faithful of the Church. 1Cor Ch.12
The lack of sugar or extra works you are doin' for Lent may be making you a bit 'hangry'. 🤬 ?
    Or
The serious effort of trying to overcome our weaknesses & resist temptation so as to keep a promise to do a wee exercise of what we in our comfort call 'mortification' for 47days illustrates the sorry state we are in. Makes us revile our weakness. Makes us ashamed. Gives us contrition and makes us all the more grateful for Christ.
    Boldness & Courage ...
    thugishness? = brutaility?
The brutality that separated truant children from poor families or from poor lone parents. A shuning & ostrisisation of those who publicly fall.
The polemic is well intentioned but needs a sequel.
