    Ralph Martin gets it. And it amazes me that he's been doing this for so long and he hasn't slowed down in his faith's fire.
    In a time when Catholics are not getting it and either want to water down the faith or they want to turn it into some weird Pharisaical orthodoxy - it's great to see people like Martin give the meaning of the Gospel message. We do the things we do not so that we get into Heaven; we live the lives Jesus taught because we love God that much and want to be wherever He is - which just happens to be in Heaven. May the good Lord bless and keep you Ralph Martin - let's finish the race and leave it all out on the field!

    Thank you Dr Ralph. All you're saying is making sense. Right now in Australia, we are being persecuted for not confirming. Many are prepared to walk away from their lifelong careers in order to protect their Moral values and religious beliefs. But many have given in fearing that they're won't be able to provide for their families. People's Faith in God is either too warm or non-existent. For all of us who are resisting, we need courage, zeal, fortitude and need to pray more and be strong. Thank You for your prayers and encouragement Dr Ralph. 🙏

    3 Hail Marys for you 🌹🌹🌹🙏🏻 that this channel may be for the Lord's work ✝️🙏🏻📿
    Thank you for the teaching. I pray with it as I listen. I listened to your partner's video on demonic reversal the other day, and that, too, is a good teaching.
    I have a vague memory from my childhood or early teen years, of hearing a sermon that suggested that "the devil" is "a symbol of the dark things in our hearts." I can't imagine my childhood parish priest preaching that, so I don't know where the memory comes from. It could have been on early Sunday morning television, which in those days was filled with religious broadcasting, including from the Catholic Faith. That kind of preaching sent me away from the Church, because if religion is all about becoming better people, why heck, I don't need a church for that! I regret that I didn't know better then, and am all the more grateful for your teaching now. You don't have to see the devil to know he's real, and he hides behind the corner whispering to make you think it's your own thought. But Scripture shines the light on him and his works. That's why your preaching is so important.

    I have to admit being a faithful Catholic today is rough. It is really rough when the attacks come from inside the church. When Priest tell people that serous sexual sin is not even sin and people who call it sin are bigots.
    We have to endure so much false teaching from many in the church today. It seems some church clergy confuse the Gospel with Political Correctness.

    Thank you and may our Lord Jesus Christ bless you , even if so many people turn away from our Lord Jesus but we hold our faith and continue on the way of the Cross for it is the narrow way that leads us to his salvation , and truly it is not that hard as many might think , it is the mystery of the Cross , the Mystery of Pain and suffering that with Jesus it becomes so sweet and rewarding , finally it is not we that win this race but it is our lord Jesus Christ who wins through us for he lives and dwells inside of us , this is the reason we finally win the battle against evil .

    Thank you, Dr. Martin for these prophetic words. For those of us who consider ourselves “in the choir”, the testing is TRUST. In the face of the darkness of this age, are we calm and at peace? The words of Psalm 4 come up often for me, “ …. trust in the Lord. Many say, ‘May we see better times! Lord, show us the light of your face!’ But you have given my heart more joy than they have when grain and wine abound. In peace I will lie down and fall asleep, for you alone, Lord, make me secure.” The Lord has been reminding me personally, “No hand-wringing!” That isn’t the posture of the baptized child of God. My response to the daily news needs to be calm trust. Thank you for your powerful videos. May the soil of our hearts, as in today’s Gospel, stay “watered”with trust and perseverance so that the word of God isn’t choked out by anxiety in our hearts.

    As you spoke about the wonderful gifts awaiting us when with God's help we get to Heaven. It occurred to me, God can't wait to give us many Heavenly graces and blessings even now. I do believe the gift of Peace is one among many Heavenly gifts we already enjoy here and now. Praised be Jesus and Mary, and glory be to our dear beloved God and Father.
    Oh, and I believe the second death is damnation in hell if we die in the state of mortal sin.

    From Saint John Eudes’ book: The Priest, His Dignity and His Obligations. “The most evident mark of God’s anger and the most terrible castigation he can inflict upon the world are manifested when He permits His people to fall into the hands of clergy who are priests more in name than in deed. Priests who practice the cruelty of ravening wolves rather than charity and affection of devoted shepherds.”
    “When God permits such things, it is very positive proof the He is thoroughly angry with His people and is visiting this most dreadful anger upon them.”

    • @RenewalMinistries
      @RenewalMinistries  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi leftystrat62! Great question! Ralph goes on a several minutes-long aside making it tough to identify. He is referring to the Church in Ephesus in the scriptures: Revelation Ch. 2. If you listen at about 3:20, you can hear the original reference. He returns to it, picking up that thread at about the 8:00 minute mark. Ralph is pointing out that in the book of Revelation, St. John is reporting that God knows the many good works of the Church at Ephesus, but "he has this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first." It is an early, early example of people doing orthodox things, but yet lacking something. So Ralph is using this biblical early church to remind us that we need more than orthodox practice, we need zeal and the fire of God's love. I hope that helps!
